Sci-Fi Items

MHD: This stands for "Mobile Hologram Device." This lets people record and display holograms of themselves (or others), and files can be sent to other devices. There are also more advanced versions of it, which can perform multible tasks. Those can do tasks such as copying images and wrapping the hologram around another object to disguise it. However, advanced MHDs must have their parts attached specially by professionals. A simple MHD is very common, and is about the price of what a calculator is now. Actually, the history of the MHD was inspired from calculators. In the beginning (or at least sometime before I was born), calculators were large and expensive, then they toned down to more compact objects. This went the same with MHDs. They were chunky and confusing. Most weren't even sold anywhere. Later, they started selling once their size was trimmed down. It was a booming success and almost everybody was using it and modifying it. Finally, the MHD was so compact, it was but a simple, flat, thin metal sheet which is voice and touch activated.

Cars: Ah, there's so much to say about the cars in the science fiction world of eve. First of all, the cars are (finally switched to being) powered by electricity, rather than gas. They don't hover, as most people like to think of cars during the "future." However, highways are much... higher and smoother than the bumpy cement on streets now.
There are several different brand names of cars which are different from the real ones. It's not like I'm going to say Shigeru drives a Ford, but he drives a "Supiido-Sandaasu," a common brand name car. I haven't made up any other names for cars, but most are named after monsters such as gyaroppu. Or because they're powered by electricity, perhaps something like Erebuu or the legendary bird, Sandaa.

Hover Board: Oh, you know there had to be one in there.
