Dragon Ball Z Saga Guides

In these two episodes Frieza yells at Zarbon that he didn't find out where Vegeta hid the Dragon Ball and so Zarbon is out to find the remains of Vegeta. Meanwhile at the lake a weakened Vegeta is hurt but not dead Zarbon comes to take him back to the ship. Elsewhere Goku is on his way to Namek when he runs into trouble and has to go outside the ship and fix it luckily with some Kaioken power he is able to avoid injury. Back on Namek Vegeta becomes healed will Frieza talks about getting the rest of the Dragon Balls. Vegeta Escapes and steal Freiza's Balls Zarbon chases after him after that he encounters Gohan who found a Dragon Ball and hides it from Vegeta. Vegeta does not catch on and only kicks Gohan for hiding something from him. Krillen and Dende finally meet Nail the aid to the Master Namek and the Master Namek himself. The Master Namek knows why Krillen is here and tells him that their is not much time to spare since he is almost about to die of old age and when he dies the balls disappear. Krillen gets a Dragon Ball and a power upgrade as well from the Master Namek and Krillen decides to go back, Vegeta feels his ki and starts to follow Krillens trail, Zarbon is dead behind Vegeta.

In this episode Krillen gets to Bulma but Vegeta and Zarbon have followed. Vegeta and Zarbon start to go at it again and in this battle Vegeta has become stronger and manages to kill Zarbon. Krillen having no choice decides to give Vegeta the Dragon Ball so no harm comes to Bulma. Vegeta runs off thinking he has them when he gets to the lack he adds this one to the collect of Frieza and then goes off to find the other one he hide. That's when Bulma after Vegeta leaves informs Krillen that Gohan is coming back with a Dragon Ball. Vegeta goes to find the one ball he hide and realizes that Gohan earlier on actually stole that Dragon Ball and enraged Vegeta decides to Go after Gohan and Krillen who are now headed to the Master Namek so that he can unleash a some hidden power in Gohan else where Frieza orders the Ginyu force to come and take care of things and they launch.

In this episode Krillen tells Gohan to go on ahead while he confronts Vegeta. Gohan goes on ahead and the Master Namek unleashes his hidden powers. Eventually Vegeta and Krillen are informed by Nail that a dark force is coming. Vegeta realizes that it can only be the Ginyu force and tells Krillen that they have to work together like it or not if they want to survive. And so Vegeta tells them that he needs the Dragon Ball that Bulma has so that he can be immortal that will be their only chance. Krillen tells him to follow him but he does not make any promises about Vegeta becoming immortal. And so the new alliance head out in an attempt to save themselves and so ends the Namek saga.

Ginyu Saga

The Ginyu force arrive on Namek and after being briefed by Frieza they set out to retrieve the missing balls. Eventually they meet up with Krillen and the others who are arguing with Vegeta. Captain Ginyu uses telekinesis to retrieve the balls. Vegeta tells Krillen to destroy the balls and before he can Burter uses his super speed to grab the ball. Ginyu leaves with the balls while the other four members begin to fight the Z fighters. Guildo is up first and Krillen and Gohan go in to fight him and so ends this episode.

In this episode the battle begins, Krillen and Gohan go against Guildo of the Ginyu force he special technique is to freeze time. Krillen and Gohan do well against him until he uses his time Freeze attack in which they get trapped and beat up bad. Eventually Vegeta comes in and cuts Guildo's head off and gives him the big bang attack. The three remaining Ginyu force members decide then decide that Recum will be the next of the Ginyu to fight. Vegeta begins to power up and so ends this episode.

In this episode Vegeta gives it his all with but it can not stand up to the power of Recum, Recum gives him a severe energy blast but Vegeta is only Injured bad not Killed. Krillen tries to step in but it comes to no avail now the only one that is left standing is Gohan. And so the desperate struggle begins as we see Goku in the background having master 100 times earths Gravity. In the following Gohan starts his battle with Recum but fairs no better than Vegeta did eventually Recum kicks Gohan in the Neck and his Neck gets broken. However a glimmer of hope arrives as Goku spaceship lands.

In this episode Goku arrives and saves the others with some senzu beans. He even heals Vegeta after the others since he owes him that favor at least for saving Gohan and Krillen earlier. After a brief discussion Goku starts to Fight with Recum Vegeta wonders how Goku can be so calm and then realizes a great secret. After a One hit KO to Recum, Vegeta is sure that Goku somehow is a Super Saiyan a great power that is a legend among the Saiyans. After Recum is down it is time for Jeece and Burter to do battle they start hitting Goku with energy blast but it Goes right through him it is then realized that the blast did not go Through Goku but that Goku moved quicker that Gohan, Krillen, or Vegeta's eyes. Vegeta then is certain that somehow this low level warrior Saiyan has found the legendary power of a super saiyan and surpassed him.

In this episode Jeece and Burter start the real battle with Goku, after a lot of misses and punches to each other Burter gets defeated by Goku with one swift Kick. Jeece runs off wondering how come the scouter had him at one level but he was a lot stronger than that, he decides to get Captain Ginyu. Vegeta quickly kills the unconscious Recum and Burter, Goku asks how come he did that, and Vegeta asks why did you let him get away now Captain Ginyu is coming. Also during this episode Freiza tries to summon the Dragon But does not have the password and Goes looking for the Master Namek to learn it. Jeece shows up after Freiza leaves, Tells the Captain about what has happen and they Fly off to fight Goku. They find Goku, Goku sends Gohan and Krillen to get the Dragon Radar and find the balls, and Vegeta Runs off and does not help Goku.

In this episode Goku starts his fight with Ginyu, Ginyu tells Goku to show him how much power he really has and so Goku starts to power up. Goku powers up to about a fourth of his true power and is far stronger than Ginyu. Ginyu goes nuts and tries to attack with tons of energy balls, Ginyu then at the end of the episode decides to punch a hole through his own chest and yells "Change" Unleashing his secret attack.

In this episode Goku switches bodies with Ginyu so now Ginyu is Goku and Goku is Ginyu, Captain Ginyu in Goku's body goes off with Jeece and finds Krillen and Gohan. Krillen and Gohan don't realize its not really Goku until Goku in Ginyu's body shows up and tells them. Krillen and Gohan start to fight Goku who is really Ginyu since he can't master the power of Goku's body eventually he learns to increase the power of Goku's body and Krillen and Gohan take a pounding. Vegeta shows up Kills Jeece in a short battle and then starts to beat up on Ginyu aka in Goku's body. Right Before Vegeta goes for the final blow Ginyu in Goku's body yells change again!

With some quick thinking Gohan throws a frog at Ginyu aka Goku's Body and Ginyu gets transferred into the frog and Goku gets his old Body back. With the defeat of the Ginyu force and Goku badly hurt. Krillen and Gohan are left with Vegeta, Vegeta takes Goku to a healing chamber in Freiza ship because he knows he needs Goku's Help. Meanwhile Freiza is at the Front door of the Master Namek place with Nail standing in his way and so ends the Ginyu saga. A side note the Master Namek sends Dende to tell Krillen and Gohan that the Dragon Can only be summoned with the use of Namek Language.

Freezer saga(Frieza)

This episode picks up right where the last one left off with Frieza at standing in front of the Palace. Nail tells him that the Master is sick and can not be disturbed but Frieza has a look for himself and fiends the Master Namek to be quite alive, that's when a group of remaining warrior Nameks come in an attempt to stop Frieza plan. But with one quick breath (literally) Frieza destroys them all. This is when Nail says to fight somewhere not close to the Master Namek. Frieza decides to follow. Back at Frieza's ship Goku is healing, While Vegeta gives Gohan and Krillen some new battle armor. Dende is getting closer to where the Z fighters are. The battle between Nail and Frieza begins Freiza starts to do a great amount of torture to Nail including ripping off his hand. Gohan and Krillen are left to Guard the Dragon Balls as Nail tries to buy them some time. While Vegeta decides to take a rest himself and so ends the episode.

In this episode Dende finally show up and tells the Krillen and Gohan about how to summon the Dragon. And so with the help of Dende they Summon the Namek Dragon. During this time Piccolo who has been training on King Kai's communicates with Gohan Telepathically and orders him to make two wishes. The first wish is that Piccolo be brought back to Life and the second is for him to be transported to the Namek in order to help the others stop Frieza. The wishes are successful however Piccolo gets sent to the opposite side of Namek far away from where Krillen and Gohan are. At a far off location a defeated Nail starts to laugh informing Frieza that the earthlings have by now already made their wishes on the Balls, and enraged Frieza flies off in an attempt to stop the earthlings. Back at the site of where the Dragon has been summoned Vegeta wakes up and gets pissed off about the Dragon being awakened. Gohan Blurts out there is still one wish left and Vegeta tries to force Dende to grant it. Unfortunately The Master Namek dies that moment and the Dragon Balls vanish to top matters off Frieza show up enraged having missed his chance for immortality and gets ready to make them pay.

In this episode the battle begins with Gohan, Krillen, and Vegeta fighting side by side in an attempt to stop Frieza. Goku still is in the ship healing but senses Frieza's ki. Frieza toys around with the Z fighters all during this episode. Meanwhile Elsewhere Piccolo who is on the other side of Namek meets Nail and learns that he is not strong enough to defeat Frieza at his current state. So Nail proposes the two fuse into one and between the two powers maybe enough to defeat Frieza. So after long thought Piccolo Reluctently Fuses and the two become one, Piccolo is amazed at his new power and now believes he can win! Back at the fight with Frieza an overconfident Vegeta informs Frieza that he knows he can transform into different forms and tells Frieza to reveal his true form. Frieza informs them that he has three transformations, and begins to power up for his first.

In this episode Frieza transforms to his first form and Vegeta realizes that he made a big mistake by telling him to transform and is now paralyzed with fear. So Frieza starts to attack Krillen and Gohan instead. Meanwhile the new stronger Piccolo picks up the pace in an attempt to get to Frieza before he kills everyone. Back at the healing Pod Goku feels Freiza's strength go up a massive amount and wishes he was healed already to help them out. Back at the fight, Freiza kills Vegeta and he goes flying next he decides he will attack the namek kid that Krillen has. Krillen throws Dende to Gohan and by doing so gets stab by Frieza's horns. Krillen is then thrown into the lake as Gohan screams out his name.

In this episode Vegeta realizes that they are all doomed Gohan begins to fill with angry and starts to attack Frieza. Gohan does a great job at beating him up but fails to deliver the final blast cause of his good nature. Frieza starts to attack and torture Gohan until Krillen throws a distructo disk at him and cuts Frieza's tail off. Piccolo still continues to try and get there.

In this episode the gang are severely taking a beating from Frieza and finally Piccolo arrives to challenge his strength. Piccolo starts his battle with Freiza and it seems like he has the upper hand on the almighty Villain. Goku senses Piccolo's energy and also Frieza's and is amazed at the awesome power of the two fighters. Vegeta is wondering how Piccolo increased his power so much. The episode ends with the question asked who will win this battle.

Frieza seems to be losing until he realizes that Piccolo fused with Nail and makes a secret of his own that he has been using only a fourth of his real power. Frieza increases his power and Piccolo starts to lose his advantage with Frieza. Vegeta discloses to Krillen that if he attacks him and injures him gravely and Dende heals he will be strong to than Frieza thanks to his saiyan powers. So Krillen attacks him and Vegeta tries to get Dende to heal him but Dende runs off in the opposite direction of Vegeta. Frieza makes another astonishing announcement when he transforms into his second form, which is a sort, alien/lizard type. Frieza after having successfully transformed again gets more powerful and starts to attack Piccolo with tons of energy blast Gohan gets upset and races off to save his friend from death.

Gohan barges in and manages to save Piccolo and sends Frieza away with an energy blast but it does not stop Frieza. Frieza then decides to transform to his final form and starts his process. Piccolo, Krillen , and Gohan can only just stand there and watch since they don't have the power to heal him. After long persuasion from Krillen, Dende finally decides to heal Vegeta and does so. Frieza transforms to his true form and points his finger and shoots out a blast that is so quick no one is able to see it. With that blast Dende is struck dead and Gohan cries for his little Friend. Then Frieza shoots the blast again but Vegeta having been power up thanks to that saiyan clause, pushes Gohan to safety and starts to fight with Frieza. Then somewhere far off from the battle Goku finally breaks out of the chamber and is finally healed

In this episode the battle continues as Vegeta fights Freiza. Even though being power up by his near brink of death Vegeta is able to see Frieza but not land a hit and realizes for the first time in his life he can't win and will die. Frieza delivers a massive amount of punishment as the others can do nothing more than watch in horror. Just as Frieza is about to deliver the final blow to Vegeta, Goku comes out of nowhere and sees Frieza for the first time. Frieza can't recognize this sayian and Vegeta tells Frieza that it is the legend he fears so much the Super Saiyan. Just then Frieza shoots a blast directly into Vegeta's heart, before dying Vegeta tells Goku that their saiyan race was not really destroyed by an asteroid but really Frieza. Vegeta tells Goku to promise him he will get Frieza and passes away. Goku bury Vegeta right there on the spot, and for the first time feels the pride of being a Saiyan that Vegeta once did and vows to stop Frieza.

In this episode the battle begins with Frieza and Goku, as the others look in amazement on how much Goku has improved. Frieza for the first time is shocked that this saiyan can actually fight at par with him. The battle Progresses and eventually it is revealed that both Frieza and Goku were merely warming up and that the true battle between the two was yet to begin. The others continue to watch the fight of the century while back at Bulma's area she meets up with the frog that is really Ginyu and makes him a talking device and switches bodies with her. The battle between Goku and Frieza is just around the horizon.

In this episode the true battle begins with Goku and Frieza and both fighters still seem to be equal until Frieza traps Goku in a ball and plays in a sense paddle ball with Goku. Eventually Goku breaks free and the battle still rages on, while Captain Ginyu who is in Bulma's body is on his way to see the fight. The episode ends with the two still fighting it out. In the episode that follows this one Goku really seems like he is going to lose the fight and gets trapped underwater during this time he gets a vision of how earth would be like if Frieza took over and Goku bursts out of the water and uses a 50 times kaioken kamehameha attack. Frieza tries to block it with his hand but gets injured by it in the arm Frieza gets enraged since this is the first time he has been injured. Back down the onlookers who now also include Ginyu who is in Bulmas body Realize that it is really Ginyu at that moment Ginyu yells change aiming at Piccolo's body and so ends that episode.

In this episode Gohan grabs the frog that really is Bulma and throws it towards Ginyu returning Ginyu to the frog and Bulma to her rightful body. Back above the sky Goku realizes that even with the Kaioken attack he can't keep up with Frieza. Frieza uses this to his advantage while Goku tries to think of a perfect ace to stop Frieza. And the gets the idea to use the spirit bomb and starts to gather the energy hoping Goku does not notice him

This episode Piccolo decides to buy Goku some time by fighting off Frieza so Goku can gather the remaining energy for the spirit bomb. Piccolo takes yet another beating as Krillen and Gohan just watch in horror. Goku starts to gather more and more energy but Frieza finally notices and Goku is now in a really big bind on how he is going to drop the bomb on him now?

In this episode Goku is still in trouble until Piccolo comes back with a very swift kick to Frieza's face knocking him away. Goku finally finishes the spirit bomb and uses it on Frieza and he disappears. Is Frieza really dead or is he somehow still alive?!

This is the most famous out of the entire DBZ episode the day we see a super saiyan for the first time. In this episode the group rejoice as they think Frieza is dead, that is until Krillen looks up at the mountain and see the villain terrible injured but not dead. Frieza with the lift of a finger directs a beam toward Goku but Piccolo takes the hit for Goku and falls over. Gohan once again cries out for his friend. Next up Frieza uses telekinesis and lifts Krillen up to the sky and explodes him. Goku becomes enraged and starts to have his hair glow back and forth between black and Gold, and with a big scream out he transforms into a super saiyan. Frieza than wonders what has he transformed into and Goku orders Gohan to get out of here before he loses all control.

In the beginning of this episode Goku yells at Gohan again to leave Gohan argues that he wants to stay, Goku yells at him again telling him that Piccolo is still alive and that he will be joining them soon. Frieza gets pissed and tries to shoot a blast at Gohan who is caring Piccolo and is flying away but is forted thanks to Goku's new found speed stops Frieza from doing so. The battle begins and Goku clearly has the upper hand against Frieza even the energy blast Frieza likes to use so much can't touch Goku then Goku gives him a free shot but it does not affect him. Frieza ask Goku what is he and Goku responds that he is the legendary Super Saiyan.

The battle Continues in this episode between Super Saiyan Goku and Frieza, Meanwhile elsewhere Kami comes back to life and tells King Kai that he is alive. King Kai gets a plan to defeat Frieza by using the earths Dragon Balls to revive everyone on the planet including the Master Namek so they can use the last wish from the Namek Balls to teleport everyone expect Frieza to the planet earth. Back on Namek Goku continues his fight with Frieza, Frieza gets pissed and Destroys Nameks Planet Core meaning the planet will blow up in five minutes.

In this episode Kai and Kami use the earths Balls and revives everyone on the planet who died including the Master Namek since he died of heartache not natural causes. Now back at the fight scene Goku and Frieza continue to fight and Goku wants Frieza to use 100% of his power. Frieza powers up and gets really buffed up and the fight between the two rages on. Elsewhere the plan is confirmed and now Kai, Kami, and Master Namek aka Eldest Namek, decide to use the last wish to transport everyone to earth expect Frieza. Goku telepathically barges in and request that the wish be modified so that everyone except Goku and Frieza be teleported off of Namek. King Kai objects but after a lot of rage comments decides to respect Goku's wish. And so the battle against Frieza continues on.

In this episode Goku and Frieza continue to battle it out as more people begin to arise around them. Gohan finally makes it to the Goku's ship in which Bulma is already in and discusses what is going on with her. The battle continues on as the Goku and Frieza beat the hell out of each other until its is kamehameha versus a charge attack in which Frieza wins and Gloats about Killing the super saiyan.

In this episode Gohan goes feeling his father energy no more goes back to the battle field to stop Frieza knowing that if he runs away Frieza will come after him for sure on earth. So Gohan goes back to the field starts to fight Frieza and starts to lose that's when Goku rises out of the water and tells Gohan to leave the planet with his ship. Gohan respects his dad wishes and leaves and the fight continues again with the planet about to explode any minute.

This episode Goku and Frieza are still fighting while a figure we all know comes back to life Dende, the master namek (eldest namek) tells Dende to make the wish to the Dragon God. Elsewhere Vegeta too is resurrected and wonders how come he is back alive? Back at the fight Scene Goku and Frieza fight again that's when Frieza notices that the Dragon is alive and tries to rush for it Goku tries to stop him, Dende is currently making the wish to the Dragon. Frieza yells out to the Dragon to become immortal but since the Dragon Does not grant wishes unless there spoken in Namek grants Dende's wish and not Frieza's Goku realizes what is going on. Just then Vegeta Races on to the scene and congratulates Goku on becoming a super saiyan then he makes an attempt to attack Frieza with an energy ball but disappears along with the rest of the people on Namek and get teleported to earth. Frieza wonders what is happening and Goku tells him what the wish was, Frieza gets mad about that but tells Goku that it doesn't matter cause he will kill Goku and if he doesn't the planet will, apparently Frieza can survive without an atmosphere and Goku tells him he won't need the five minutes and they resume the fight.

This episode the nameks and remaining Z fighters get to earth and the Master Namek tells them of what is going on. Piccolo is healed by Dende and learns that Piccolo fused with Nail. Gohan, Bulma, Vegeta, and Piccolo learn that Goku is still on Namek fighting off Frieza and wonder what is going on up there. Back at the fight scene they are still fighting but Goku seems to have a slight advantage over Frieza and both seem really beat up.

The battle gets down to the end almost here with Frieza and Goku still fighting with about two minutes to go before the planet explodes. Another Great fight in which Goku really gives it to Frieza. By this point Frieza is really enraged and does not know what to do. In the episode that follows Vegeta laughs about how two birds will be killed with one stone and that he will be the strongest of all. Gohan gets upset saying his dad will come back. At the end of the episode Goku clearly is winning and tells Frieza that he quits since Frieza energy has dropped and it is useless to continue to fight since Goku will surely win. He continues to tell Frieza to live with that embarrassment for the rest of his life in peace Frieza decides to unleash his special attack as Goku starts to fly away.
