Dragon Ball Z Synopsis

DRAGON BALL Z INFO:

Dragon Ball Z is the greatest of all the Dragon Ball series. The basis of this story is it picks up five years after the original Dragon Ball. Goku is now married to Chichi and has a son named gohan. The first episode starts off with goku and gohan going to visit the kame house. Half way into the episode goku's older brother named Raditz reveals to goku that he is really and alien from a race called the saiyans. Of course goku being a hothead attacks Raditz only to lose the fight and his son. Raditz is way stronger than goku and his friends combined.

That's when Piccolo goku's arch nemesis decides to team up with goku to stop Raditz. The battle between Piccolo, Goku, and Raditz is a brutal fight. Thanks to a little help from Gohan and Goku sacrificing his life. Raditz is finally defeated but that's not the end of the series. Piccolo stupidly tells Raditz of the existence of the Dragon Balls of course Raditz dies but before doing so he manages to send a transmission of what Piccolo said to his saiyan friends in outer space. Thus the saiyans head for earth Goku dies and goes out in heaven in search of Kaio a master of martial arts. Back on Earth the remaining heroes train in preparation for the threat of the Saiyans thus the beginning of Dragon Ball Z.

Dragon Ball Z has many other sagas that follow the saiyans but it would take too much time to go into them all. I will tell you this however many stronger and fiercer villains are introduced in Z such as Freezer, Cell, and Buu. But with these enemies comes far greater power levels that Goku achieves such as a super saiyan. Dragon Ball Z in my opinion is the best of all the Dragon Ball series out there and is Currently airing on Cartoon Network.
