Ten years have passed since the events of Dragon Ball Z, Ubuu has finally completed his training with Goku and the two are testing each others powers up on Kami's Lookout! Around this same time Mai, Shou, and Pilaf are climbing up the tower to steal the dragon balls. All of them have aged massively since the last time we saw them, and are after a different type of dragon balls, the ones that were made when Piccolo and Kami where one, the black star dragon balls. So the group finally find these balls that are still hidden in the tower, and summon the black star dragon to make their wish. Just then Goku has finished his fight with Ubuu and notices a weird glowing light. Goku goes to investigate and finds Pilaf and the others with the dragon. Just then Pilaf wishes that Goku was a young kid so he can take him out like the garbage he is, ironically the Dragon hears this wish and grants it Goku turns into a kid once again! Unfortunately Dende tells goku that unlike the regular dragon balls, the black star dragon balls scatter across the universe. Goku is shocked but not really bother about being a kid so he heads back to earth to figure out what to do!

Will on earth Goku meets up with Pan his granddaughter and Master Roshi, the two ask Goku what has happend and Pan is in shock that his grandpa is a kid again. So they go to Chichi's house and tell Gohan, Videl, and the others the story. Chichi is upset that Goku doesn't mind being a kid and at the end of the episode King Kai warns Goku that he must get the dragon balls before a year has passed or the earth will be destroyed!

Episode 2:

In this episode Goku prepares to go into outer space to search for the black star dragon balls. Vegeta tells Goten and Trunks that they are going to go out into outer space with Goku. Goten makes the excuse he has a date and Trunks tries to make one to but Vegeta decides he will not have any of it. Bulma is hard at work building a spaceship and gettng it ready, while Pan gets upset that no one wants her to help out and that she is a kid. By the end of the episode Goten gets a phone call and sneaks out of the ship to talk, this is when Pan sneaks onto the ship suprises Goku and Trunks by hitting the start button. Now the Group has been changed to Goku, Pan and Trunks, but little do they know that a part of the spaceship had not been installed yet Bulma looks on with a scared face!

Episode 3: So Cheap! Planet of Business Amigo

Trunks argues with Pan to give him the control key. Pan slips it under her shirt. Back on Earth Bulma wonders what that smal part to the ship was. Deep in space Pan order Goku and Trunks to clean up the spaceship. While back on earth Bulma finally finds out that the piece to the ship that fell out was in fact the directional controller. Unfortunately the gang are forced to make a crash landing on Planet Amigo known for its greedy market places and workers. The gang eventually even come to a hotel where everything from the bed to the shower have a price meter that goes off.

Well eventually the gang leaves the hotel only to be out in the rain on the streets, Pan accidently puts her hand on a door and ends up crashing in on a family's house. They soon learn that the reason why everyone is money crazed is that the evil ruler known as Don Kee raises the rents to unbearable prices in which no-one can afford them. Ironically as this speech is being giving a group of robots come to evict the people. Later that day Trunks and Pan argue on how its not right to interfer with a planets law and should not interfer with Don Kee. Just then Trunks drops the dragon radar which literally gets eaten whole by a small robot. After a rather amusing chase scene Goku manages to catch the the Robot and also the group find out that the army of Don Kee has taken there space ship for himself. What will they ever do now?

Episode 4: Wanted!! Goku is wanted!

Trunks is devasted after having the spaceship stolen, Goku attempts to try and catch up with the spaceship using his instantaneous movement but learns that he can not perform this technique in his present kid form. So the gang travels on foot to get their spaceship back, while Don Kee devises a way to cash in Big time for the space ship. Eventually the group make it to Kee's palace which is heavily guarded and get into a fight with the guards. In which the group make a somewhat successful getaway until two goons show up. Goku deflects their ki blast with a kamehameha but a mysterious guy shows up and deflects it away wondering if Goku can be a sayian. The next day the group seem ready to leave when they decide to go to the market place in order to get some food. The market people start to run away from Goku and the others. They wonder why until Trunks finds a most wanted poster for their arrest. Now the Group are wanted criminals and must hide out from the cops.

Episode 5: I found a strong guy, Ledgic the body Guard!

Well after a long drawn out scene of the gang running from the cops it is decided that they will turn themeselves in so that they may take down the tryant known as Don Kee. Don Kee is informed that the intruders have been capture but before he knows what happens a guard goes busting through the door. Apparently Goku, Pan, and Trunk have taken out all the guards, Pan goes to attack Don Kee but is caught in a force field and given a tremondous shock. Don Kee decideds to use his Machine guns on the gang but Ledgic shows up saying that those cheap toys won't work on him. Ledgic decides to fight and manages to knock Trunks out in one punch. A tremendous battle occurs between Goku and Ledgic. During the end of the battle Goku is forced to transform into a super saiyan and punches Legic dead straight in the stomach, followed by a series of kicks. Goku manages to knock Ledgic out with a Kamehameha attack.

After the battle Goku tells Ledgic that they would should fight again one day again. Don Kee tries to pay off Ledgic to kill the group, but Ledgic answers him with a kick to the stomach. Ledgic vows that the next time Goku and he meet that he shall not lose. Well after a little pursuasion by Pan. Don Kee gives into their demands and gives the people back everything he stole from them including the houses. At the end of the episode the Group head north in the galaxy to get their first dragon ball.

Episode 6: It may hurt a little, Goku the dentist!

Well the group are back in space on the trail of their first black star dragon ball. Eventually there journey takes them to a planet in which everything is giant size. Pan goes off to do some exploring while Goku and Trunks search for the ball. Eventually Pan dresses up like a bee, and gets mistaken for the queen bee and is taken to their hive. After a switch for the real queen that Goku and Trunks find Pan is returned safe to them. After a long search they find the apple which the dragon ball was hidden in but it is eaten by this huge giant. The giant gets the dragon ball stuck in his tooth and Goku decides to play dentist using the kamehameha attack to knock out the tooth with the dragon ball in it. After a quick fairwell with the giant the group head off into space to find the next dragon ball.
