41. Crossfire at Barge
The battle begins at Fortress Barge as Oz sends out its Mobile Dolls to attack the oncoming White Fang forces. Zechs enters the battle as well. Noin goes to look for Zechs and ask him what he is doing. Quatre and duo go along as well. On Earth, Sally Po and Heero meet. Sally Po decides to go to space with Heero in order to deliver Heavyarms to Trowa. At Romefeller, Relena believes that she must fight her brother. However, Treize appears and tells her that it is her time to step down and let him take over. She agrees and decides to go speak with her brother. Dorothy goes up to space along with Relena. Oz is beginning to lose the battle at Fortress Barge so they decide to use their beam cannon. Noin and the Gundam pilots go to find Zechs in the battle. Barge fires it cannon but it misses the Gundam pilots and Noin. Suddenly Epyon appears and Noin realizes that Zechs is inside. Barge decides to attack with its beam cannon again. Noin talks with Zechs and tells him that she won't battle him. He almost destroys her but decides not to. He leaves and destroys Barge before it fires its beam cannon.

42. Battleship Libra
Lady Une arrives on Earth and is taken to a hospital. Treize goes to see her. Treize then meets with world leaders and explains his plan to unite and defeat the White Fang. Meanwhile, Relena is in space heading towards the Libra. On the moon, Oz and White Fang forces are fighting. Wufei joins the battle but his suit is severely damaged. On Libra, Quinze tells Milliardo that the Libra is complete. Milliardo tells Quinze to gather the forces for the final battle soon to come. Sally Po and Heero come across Wufei and his suit. They take him in and begin continue on their trip. Suddenly, White Fang forces attack. Wufei wants to battle them so Heero gives him the Wing Zero. Wufei takes Zero out but the Zero system causes him to realize that he needs to join the other Gundam pilots in order to defeat his two enemies, Milliardo and Treize. Milliardo sends out a message to everyone. He talks about the Earth and space and the conflict between the two and how he is going to carry out solving the conflict through a gigantic war. On a shuttle, Dorothy arrives at Libra. Milliardo decides to let her come aboard. Elsewhere, Relena is on her way to see her brother.

43. Target: Earth
Sally Po, Wufei, and Heero meet up with the others on the Libra. Howard tells Trowa that he fix up Heavyarms for space battle. On a colony where Catherine and the circus is, Oz forces take over in an attempt to use the colony as a hostage. The Gundam pilots on the Peacemillion hear about the new change in events and talk about what to do. On the Libra, Milliardo heads the Libra to the colony that Oz is controlling. He then orders the main cannon to be fired. The Gundam pilots hear about the White Fang's move and on TV Trowa sees Catherine he races off in the Wing Zero to save her. Quatre and Duo realize that the Zero system might be a bad effect on him since he still hasn't regained all of his memory. Treize hears word of what the Oz forces in space have done with the colony. He explains that it is cowardly and that they no longer have the support of Oz. The Oz soldiers in the colony hear about this and get scared. Trowa reaches the colony but the Zero system takes over. He gets ready to blast the colony when Quatre arrives and gets him to stop. Duo gets inside the colony and destroys the Oz soldiers there. However, Libra then gets ready fires its cannon. Relena appears in her shuttle. Milliardo orders that the cannon be fired even if Relena is in the way. Relena doesn't get out of the cannons path in order to protect the colony. However the cannon is fired and it misses the colony and hits Earth instead. Milliardo explains that it is a warning to Earth.

44. Go Forth, Gundam Team
Relena arrives on the Libra where Dorothy shows her to the bridge where Zechs is. Relena and Milliardo begin talking but soon they begin arguing over the war. Zechs tells Dorothy to take Relena to her room. All of the Gundam pilots except Heero decide to attack the Libra. They all leave and each Gundam splits off to attack different groups of Dolls. However, the Dolls respond differently and begin attacking the Gundams. The Gundams are soon forced to retreat under the onslaught. Relena and Dorothy begin to talk about Milliardo. Dorothy tries to get Relena to take her gun so that Relena can kill Milliardo and stop the war. Relena doesn't so Dorothy leaves. Milliardo sees that the Gundams have succeeded in destroying the Dolls but mentions that unlike the pilots, the Dolls are inexhaustible. Returning to the Peacemillion, the Gundam pilots recover from their battle. They talk about what they should do next time and Quatre says that if they don't do something differently, the next time the White Fang forces will take each of them out separately. Milliardo gives Dorothy control of the Dolls and gets ready for his battle with Heero. Before the battle, Heero tells Quatre that he has put the Zero system in the Sandrock. Quatre doesn't like it but Heero makes him keep it in. Dorothy starts the Dolls system which she controls through the Zero system. The battle begins and Zero and Epyon begin to battle. Dorothy controls the Mobile Dolls and gets ready to take out the Gundams. Quatre tries to get the Gundams to work together but they don't. He starts up the Zero system and begins giving orders to the other Gundams. It works and soon the Gundams are defeating the White Fang Dolls easily. Dorothy can't believe what is happening. She realizes that Quatre is the one leading the Gundams. In turn, Quatre realizes that Dorothy is leading the Dolls. Zechs sees the Dolls being defeated and goes back to the Libra. Relena promises to end the war.

45. Signs of the Final Battle
The Peacemillion is being repaired. Quatre talks with Heero. He explains that he no longer needs the Zero system and can now handle the job of leading the Gundam pilots into battle. Howard comes up to the pilots and tells them that they need to rest for the upcoming battle while he repairs their Gundams. Noin and Sally begin talking about using the resource satellite MO-II as their base of operations. They notice that many Oz suits are gathered around the area of MO-II and they figure that Oz must be bringing all of its forces to space. Treize watches as his forces head off for space. He tells his soldiers that true peace will come after the White Fang has been destroyed. Hilde sneaks into the Libra on a shuttle. On the bridge of the Libra, Milliardo tells Quinze that the battle will soon take place at MO-II. Hilde is able to take information from the Libra and is heading out as she spies Dorothy and Relena. Relena mentions that she knows the Gundam pilots. Hilde is interested and follows Relena and Dorothy. The Peacemillion begins flying towards the Libra. Quinze sends out a group of Mobile Dolls to take care of them but Dorothy tells him that the Gundams will defeat the Dolls. Hilde meets with Relena and they talk about the Gundam pilots and what has been going on recently. Hilde asks Relena if she would like to come back with her to the Peacemillion but Relena explains that she must stay on the Libra. Hilde blasts her way out of Libra and a group of Virgos are sent to stop her. Dorothy requests that they send out the newly rebuilt Mercerius and Vayeate. She explains that the Gundams will help the escapee out. The Peacemillion gets the alarm about the Libra's forces being sent out. Hilde is attacked by Mercerius and the Vayeate. Duo realizes that Hilde is being attacked and rushes to the rescue. Hilde is nearly destroyed by the Mercerius and the Vayeate. However, Duo is able to arrive in time to save her. Hilde tells him that the battle information on Trowa and Heero is programed into the suits. Duo is able to destroy the suits and the other Dolls. Duo thanks Hilde for the information she obtained and she goes to a hospital to recover. Duo tells Heero that Hilde met with Relena on the Libra.

46. Milliardo's Decision
On Earth, Treize get ready to take the rebuilt and upgraded Tallgeese II into space in order to duel with Milliardo. One of his soldiers tries to talk him out of it but Treize tells him that dueling is what makes wars humane. In a hangar, a mechanic fixes the Wing Zero One and attaches boosters to it even though he believes that no one can fly it. Heero takes one of the Virgo carriers to the Libra. Duo realizes what Heero is doing and the Gundam pilots begin discussing if he can complete his mission. Heero is in the Virgo carrier and crashes it into the docking bay. Heero exits the ship and pretends to be a White Fang soldier. Quinze is extremely upset that a Gundam pilot has gotten into the base. Milliardo calms him down and tells him that he knew that Heero Yuy would come. Heero meets with Relena who is happy to see him again. Heero and Relena both go to meet with Milliardo. Heero finds out where Milliardo is and goes to meet him. They find Milliardo in a room. Relena talks with him and he tells her that his mind is set. Heero asks Milliardo why he is leading the colonies to war. Milliardo explains that if Heero doesn't like his ways then he should become the leader of the White Fang. Dorothy and Quinze talk about their upcoming battle plans. Quinze wants to launch their forces but Dorothy tells him to wait for Milliardo. Heero responds to Milliardo by pointing a gun at him. Milliardo explains that the war will be for the peace that the Sanc Kingdom preaches. Relena disagrees but Milliardo suddenly vanishes. Relena realizes that it was a projection of Milliardo. Heero leaves and Relena follows. On the bridge, Zechs returns. He orders that the beam cannon be pointed at Oz forces. Dorothy seems somewhat scared. Treize is in the Tallgeese II when one of his soldiers tells him that Milliardo says that if Oz approaches then he'll fire. Treize stops his advancing forces and asks Milliardo to come out and duel with him. On Earth, Lady Une gets out of bed and leaves for space in the Wing Zero One. Milliardo declines Treize's offer and orders that Libra fire on Treize. Dorothy tries to stop him but Milliardo orders that she be restrained. Milliardo realizes that Treize wishes to die in order to end the war. Milliardo fires the cannon but the Wing Zero One pushes Treize out of the way of the blast and takes the hit for itself. Lady Une steps out of the Gundam to the surprise of Treize. Quinze orders that all of the Mobile Dolls be launched. Treize orders that Oz forces shoot down the Libra. The battle begins.

47. Collision in Space
The final battle between Oz and White Fang begins. Treize tells his men that battle is a beautiful thing. Lady Une says that in order for the soldier's sacrifice not to be wasted, the battle must be so great as to be remembered by mankind forever. Heero and Relena are in the cargo bay of the Libra. Heero tells Relena that he is going to stay until the battle is over. Heero explains that when Treize finds that he can't destroy the Libra then he'll destroy the Libra from the inside. The Gundam pilots try to decide who to fight. They realize that once Libra's main cannon is operational then it will be able to defeat Oz. Therefore they decide to fight the White Fang. Howard flies the Peacemillion towards the Libra. Quinze sees the Peacemillion and realizes that all the forces are busy with Oz. Milliardo tells Quinze that he'll go out with Epyon and three Virgos to battle the Gundams. Milliardo and the Gundams begin fighting. Treize is busy taking out the Mobile Dolls. Lady Une informs Treize that the Gundams are fighting Epyon. Treize thanks the Gundams. Zechs takes on Quatre explaining that he wants to take out the head first. Trowa continues to fight with the Mobile Dolls and Duo and Wufei help out Quatre. Treize remarks that his forces can't get close to Libra. Quinze begins moving the Libra towards Earth. Treize tells Milliardo that his Mobile Dolls can't feel despair. Milliardo tells him that soon the Earth will feel the despair of space. On Peacemillion, Sally and Noin sees what the Libra is doing. They decide to take out the Libra's cannon with their ship. Milliardo realizes what they are doing and goes to stop them. Meanwhile, Milliardo's three Virgos have created a shield that the Gundam pilots are unable to break. Milliardo is stopped by Noin. Milliardo tries to kill Noin but finds that he cannot. He races off. Quinze sees that Peacemillion is about to hit the Libra. On the Peacemillion, Howard cranks up the engines to full. Treize salutes the people aboard the Peacemillion. The Peacemillion rams the Libra destroying its cannon. Howard gets a damage report. Quinze thinks that the battle is over. Treize tells his troops that the battle won't be over until all Mobile Dolls are destroyed. The Gundams destroy the three Virgos. In the Libra, Heero tells Relena that it is time for Zero. Milliardo asks what the Libra is capable of doing. One of the mechanics tells him that the engines still work. Milliardo says that they can still strike. The Gundam pilots decide to infiltrate the Libra and stop the Mobile Dolls system. Wufei leaves to take care of some business of his own. The Gundam pilots enter the Libra. Meanwhile, Heero and Relena head back to the Peacemillion to get Wing Zero. Wufei goes to destroy the Dolls and tells Treize that he will duel with him once the battle is over. Quatre finds Dorothy who shoots him. Trowa comes across some White Fang soldiers but easily dodges them. Duo finds the Gundam scientists. They explain that they built the Libra and the Mercerius and the Vayeate. They also tell him that they designed the Libra's main cannon to mess up when it fires. Heero and Relena make it to the Peacemillion. Milliardo stands on the Libra and stares down at Earth. Noin arrives and tells Milliardo that she doesn't want to get in his way anymore. Milliardo tells her to do what she wishes and says that Earth is about to feel the final blow.

48. Takeoff into Confusion
Dorothy fires at Quatre and knocks a gun out of his hand. Quatre tells Dorothy that they must leave but Dorothy tells him that he is wrong. Wufei begins his duel with Treize. The Gundam scientists get Duo to take them to the Peacemillion explaining that Milliardo is going to drop the Libra on Earth and they need to get to the Peacemillion to stop him. Quinze tells Milliardo that the Libra is getting ready to go down to Earth. Milliardo says that soon no life will survive on Earth any longer. Milliardo says that the Gundams will get in his way but he is Zechs and he plans to fight them. Heero gets ready to leave and Relena tries to stop him. Heero explains that he is the only one who can stop the war by defeating Zechs and Treize. He tells Relena that he will protect her and leaves. Dorothy gets Quatre to duel with her while she is using the Zero system. As they duel, they begin talking about whether war or peace is greater. Dorothy pushes Quatre into the wall and tells him that everything he has fought for has been lost. On the Peacemillion, things are under control. However, Relena tries to contact Heero. Heero turns off his radio. Trowa is in the Libra's hold trying to reach Quatre. Duo comes to help out Trowa defeat some Virgos. Trowa thanks Duo and gets out of Heavyarms to go searching for Quatre. Duo is destroying everything in his path with the Gundam scientists in tow. The Maganacs appear and help out. Dorothy and Quatre are still dueling. Dorothy disarms Quatre and shoves her sword into Quatre's shoulder. Quatre tell Dorothy that she is actually kind and that she shouldn't be fighting. Quatre loses consciousness. Treize and Wufei continue dueling. Treize flies at Wufei and Wufei slices through him. Treize thanks Wufei for the duel and dies. Lady Une sees Treize's death and orders that Oz surrender to the White Fang. Quinze goes to tell Dorothy who can't believe that Treize is dead. Quinze says that they are still dropping the Libra onto Earth. Trowa finds Quatre and tells Dorothy that her plans did not go as expected. The people aboard the Peacemillion can't believe that Earth has surrendered and that Zechs is dropping the Libra onto Earth. They realize that Heero is the only one who can stop it. On the Libra, Zechs waits for Heero. He sees the Wing Zero approaching.

49. The Final Victor
Zechs and Heero begin fighting. Zechs hits Heero's buster rifle away and Libra begins its descent to Earth. On MO-II Lady Une orders a recall of all Oz troops. She orders that all usable mobile suits be destroyed as per Treize's wishes. Sally and Relena meet with Noin on MO-II. Duo drops the Gundam scientists onto the Peacemillion. Duo heads off to fight the Dolls. On MO-II Lady Une apologizes for killing Relena's father and hands Relena a gun. Relena declines the offer and tells Lady Une that now is the time for revenge to stop. Howard turns their attention back to the Libra. He explains that if it falls on Earth, Earth will become uninhabitable. He explains that only the Gundams can help them now. In the Mobile Doll control room, Trowa destroys the Dolls control. Quatre tells Trowa to take Dorothy instead of him but Trowa tells him that Dorothy can take care of herself. They leave and contact Duo on their success. Lady Une contacts Noin and tells her to broadcast the image of Heero and Zechs's battle to the Earth and the colonies. As it is broadcast, Lady Une explains to the people that the battle will decide the fate of the world. She explains to them the horrors of war to get them to understand why it should never happen again. Quinze appears on the Peacemillion as the Gundam scientists prepare to launch the ships' engines. Quinze tells them that they have interfered with Operation Meteor for the last time. The Gundam scientists launch Peacemillion's rockets. Heero and Zechs continue to duel but Zechs disarms Heero and get ready to finish him off. However, the Libra's course is altered by the Peacemillion. People watch as a piece of Libra falls off towards Earth. The Gundam pilots head towards it and Wufei races past them carrying Heero's buster rifle. Zechs leaves Heero and enters the piece of Libra. Heero follows. Howard tells the people on MO-II that even the piece of Libra could greatly alter Earth. They receive a report that the Gundams have entered the piece of the Libra. Heero and Zechs fight in the Libra. Heero cuts off Epyon's arm. Zechs asks Heero why he doesn't kill him. Heero explains that Relena would be sad if he died. Quatre contacts Heero and tells him their situation. Heero decides to go destroy the engines. The Gundam pilots try to destroy as much of the Libra as they can but are running out of time. The Maganacs appear to help Quatre and the others destroy the Libra. Heero reaches the propulsion system but cannot attack. He gets ready to self destruct when Zechs arrives and blows up the propulsion system. He tells Heero that maybe they'll meet again someday as the engines explode. However, some of Libra continues to fall towards Earth. Wufei delivers Heero's buster rifle. All of the Gundam pilots exit Libra and let Heero do what he has to. Heero and Libra enter the atmosphere. Lady Une and Relena believe that Heero can accomplish his mission. Heero tries to hit Libra but can't. Finally, he hits Libra and an explosion destroys the rest of the Libra piece. All of the Gundam pilots rejoice. Afterwards, the Earth and space set up treaty. Later, Noin and Dorothy visit Treize and Zechs's graves. Dorothy asks Noin why she didn't bring flowers for Zechs. Noin tells her that she knows that Zechs is still alive somewhere. Relena is a foreign minister and gets ready to leave for space. She finds a card and a bear on her seat. She looks out the window and sees Heero there. She then rips up the card smiling as Heero watches.
