Character Info: Tenchi's grandfather Yosho is descended from Jurai royalty. To avoid a bloody conflict, he relinquished his claim to the Jurai throne years ago in favor of a life on Earth. Yosho is a great warrior and a learned teacher. When he sees the potential in Tenchi's abilities, he decides to instruct his grandson in the ways of the Jurai. Yosho is also the keeper of the Masaki family shrine.
