Pilot of Gundam 02. The most cheerful and kind in the five pilots. Duo is one of the children that were orphans after the war killed his parents, him and the other orphans looked in the streets food and some way to survive, later he was caught and taken before the priest of a church called " Maxwell ", it puts an order in its life. (that explains why he's dressed as priest in spite of being a pilot) The hair of Duo was braided the first time by a nun of the Maxwell church. When they asks him for his hair style, Duo says, "that this way's easier to steal without being caught."
Eventually the war return to Duo's colony, and soilders took the Maxwell church, prying Duo listens to them speak about a Mobile suit, so he tells them that the he can steal it.
Duo was able to steal it, but when he returns to the church he finds it in ruined, with the dead priest and the nun being in death agony and with its last words she tells him that the priest died in peace and with him as last thought.
Duo saw the death to his parents and now its ' familia' is also death. So from that time on now he adopts the name of " Shinigami " that means God of the Death in the Japanese religion.

Trowa is very similar to Heero Yuy, reserved, serious and he never smiles. He seems to have a near relationship to Heero, in fact, Heero is the only person that makes Trowa laugh.

The true Gundam Shenlong was destroyed when Wufei was captured along with Heero and Duo; professor G,who has one of the scientist that create the Gundams construct Altrong for Wufei.
When Wuferi obtains its new Mobile Suit leaves to the space destroying all the Mobile Suit that he sees, on behalf of people, for its prayers and cries.
