Reese and Antaimon watched as Hakimi and Shafiq began to arrive in the digiport angry. "It serves them right," Hunter sneered.

"What did Hakimi think he were doing?" Reese asked before she continued. "I was atracted to Hakimi because he seemed nice. But I now saw this side of him. He's the most hard-headed, selfish, violent, idiotic person I have ever met in my life. What makes him God to both worlds? He's no better than Nathan."

"Guilmon maybe his digimon, but I don't think he supports the Death Star program which he, Shafiq and Agumon support," Antaimon answered back.

They watched as Hakimi became more rageful at Jenny because she and the others cancelled the Death Star Program.

David was slightly shocked to hear that Reese used to be attracted to Hakimi, but he pushed it out of his head It doesn't matter, he thought to himself. Centaurimon and Gururumon prepared to fight should it be necessary. David readied himself to fight Hakimi and Shafiq if they attacked, which he was certain they would.

"Gururumon, make sure Hakimi, Shafiq, Guilmon and Agumon aren't hurt badly if it comes down to a battle," he whispered to Gururumon so that none of the others would hear.

Reese was shocked to hear that David heard her conversation with both Antaimon and Hunter. "Nice going, Reese!" Hunter told her.

"Look just because I had a crush on Hakimi, doesn't mean I like him," Reese said. "He's stil the most selfish guy I met.

David turned round and smiled at Reese, he was still slightly churning inside but he knew that Reese was telling the truth. "Don't worry, I know you and I trust you and it's ok." David smiled and shot a look at Jenny.

Jenny was grinning in her brother's direction, she had by now figured it out.

Gururumon flicked his ears slightly and waited for Hakimi to make a move.

"Hakimi, I got something to say to you," Reese shouted as she came face to face with Hakimi. "I was once attracted to you because you seemed nice. But then I saw you angry side, and figured out you're on male PMS. After wards I found out you were going to execute your death star program, here the one thing i have to say to you. I think you're the most selfish, arrogant, no good, idiotic, hard-headed person I have ever met in my life."

"Guilmon may be your friend but he doesn't support what you do," Antaimon continued.

Gururumon flicked his ears snobbishly. "Don't anger the psycho..." he muttered, twirling round slightly on one foot. David couldn't help but chuckle at Gururumon. Jenny was quite frightened and backing behind Centaurimon.

"Well thre's more where that came from," Reese told Gururumon before she faced Hakimi. "Well is there some you have to say?"

"You're even wore than Nathan in case you haven't noiced," Antaimon yelled at him.

Reese watched as Jamie and Mallory walked towards them in their bravery. Hunter came face to face with Hakimi and kneed him in the stomach. "It serves you right," Hunter roared. "What makes you think you're god to both worlds? You're just a human being, we make mistakes."

David saw everyone coming to hurt Hakimi. "Stop!" he roared, so it could be heard over the shouting. "We will listen to what Hakimi has to say," he said in a quieter voice. Gururumon gave David a doubtful look but didn't say anything.

Reese turned to David. "Antaimon and I didn't attack him physically," dhe told David. "Hunter did."

"Well he deserves it," Hunter said as he continued to punch Hakimi.

"Hunter calm down," Reese admonished. "Listen to what he has to say."

Cory was beginning to lose her temper. "All of you SHUT UP! Hunter, take a time out! In case you haven't realized Hakimi and Shafiq are NOT the enemy. What about Nathan? Have you forgotten him?" As she was saying this she looked towards Nathan and saw him slinking away. "Get back here right now you little bas...er...jerk!" she roared. "Hakimi, you ok?"

Reese held Hunter from attacking Nathan again. "You bastard," Hunter roared. "Get back here so I can cream you."

"You're just as bad as Nathan," Reese said as she lost her temper. "Just listen to what Hakimi has to say before we fight again." She saw Rosemon hold onto Nathan as he tried to escape from him.

Flashback:

"Hunter, no! Don't do it." Reese witnessed the fighting between Nathan Barias and Hunter Vargas. "No more, please no more." She was afraid of him more than ever as he continued to throw punches at Nathan. Hunter was showing more rage than not and he didn't noticed it until he saw her face filled witth fear mixed with anger. "I'll see you again within three years," Hunter shouted at Nathan. He turned to her as his fingertips touched her green hair. "Reese...."

"Just leave me alone," Reese shouted as she slapped the hand away from Hunter. "Hunter, don't touch me please! I just want to go home." She ran away from Hunter with fear and anger inside of her. I really hate him for this. Why did it have to be you, James? You were more mellow than your brother. You were that someone I can talk to.

"David, hold on to me please," Reese told him. "I can't let Hunter hold me when I'm mad at him."

"Way to go Hunter," Antaimon told him. "Now you have scared her as well."

Sayuri noticed Reese actually afraid of Hunter because of his temper tantrums. "Reese what is it?" Sayuri asked with concern. "Did Hunter do something to scare you again?" She saw Reese nod her head as she turned to face Hunter. "You're just as bad as Nathan," Sayuri roared at him. "You didn't give Hakimi a chance to explain why he did what he did."

Hakimi woke up slowly and calmly. Guilmon began to get angry. "Pyro..."

"Stop, Guilmon!" said Hakimi. Guilmon looked at Hakimi. "We don't have to fight them. Remember our mission," said Hakimi. Guilmon sighed. Hakimi looked at other Digidestined. "Say what you want. I don't care. For your information, Jenny, the Death Star program was already fully installed into the mainframe and waiting for me to launch it. It was supposed to be safe system but you put a virus inside it and it might control the whole system and all the enemy that we've encountered will appear. It might launch itself without all of us even knowing. Hunter, I could destroy you right now but I won't since I have a last enemy to face with my brother. The enemy that has been created by me and Jenny. Since I know how to destroy her, I'll do it myself," said Hakimi, looking at the gigantic egg that appeared in the sky. "In a matter of time that Digimon will hatch," said Hakimi. He looked at Guilmon. "It's time to make our Dark Evolution," said Hakimi. Guilmon nodded. Hakimi pulled out a black card. "Card scan DigiModify! Dark Evolution!" yelled Hakimi.

"Guilmon warp dark digivolved to Megidramon!"

Hakimi pulled out another black card. "Card scan DigiModify! Second Dark Evolution!" yelled Hakimi.

"Hakimi, Megidramon, biomerge digivolved to Chaos Gallantmon!"

Shafiq looked at Agumon that nodded. He pulled out a blue card. "Card scan DigiModify! Blue card power activated!" yelled Shafiq.

"Shafiq, Agumon, warp biomerge digivolved to War Imperialdramon!"

"Launch the sword of the Peace Keeper!" said the computer. A large sword appeared on Chaos Gallantmon's hand as Chaos Gallantmon grabbed it.

"We're all human beings. We makes mistakes. But if we know how to correct it, it would be an advantage for us," said Chaos Gallantmon.

"He might look selfish like you think but if he didn't do it like he always does, we would still trapped in Digital World, facing the Emperor. You know, as a brother I'm happy he met you guys and became friends. Now, I regret he met you guys. As you know, Agumon is the Guardian of Fire and Guiulmon is the Guardian of Peace Keeper. That's why we keep fighting the enemy alone. If I knew this was what I'd get, I'd have stopped my brother from fighting the Emperor and we'd just let you deal with the Emperor," said War Imperialdramon.

"And I'll keep on doing it," said Chaos Gallantmon. War Imperialdramon smirked.

David put an arm round Reese's shoulders and gave Hunter a slight scowl. "Great going, Hunter," he spat. Gururumon prepared to fire vines, either to restrain Hunter from hurting Hakimi or David from hurting Hunter if he upset Reese more.

"The whole group is collapsing in on itself," Gururumon whispered to Centaurimon.

"We will pull through it," Centaurimon assured Gururumon. Gururumon was unsure but he turned back to looking at Hakimi.

Hunter witnessed Reese and David together and one of the things it did was spark his own rage and fear. "You jerk," Hunter called out as he came face to face with Hakimi. "If we don't work together, he'll win." He pointed towards Nathan with a warring look. He turned towards Reese and tried to touch her again but he didn't realize it was his own anger that scared her.

"Leave me alone, Hunter," Reese shouted at him.

"But Reese, I just..." Hunter began.

"Leave me alone," Resse told him.

Antaimon noticed how unstable her tamer is towards Hunter when he's angry. She saw Reese's fear kick in when he tried to calm her down.

Sayuri watched as Reese's fear of Hunter's anger kicked in. She witness him trying to apologize to her friend. "Reese, listen to him," Sayuri told her. "He's trying to tell you he's sorry."

"He can't do that if you keep running away from him," Makimon called out.

David thought for a moment and one of the things that kept popping up in his head was that Hunter was attracted to Reese and probably vice versa, he was unsure of what to do. Gururumon noticed this and gave David a look as if to say calm down. David looked from the genuinely sorry Hunter to Reese.

"Reese, Hunter is your friend and he is sorry, we all get angry sometimes and maybe you should accept his apology." David forced it out of his mouth and his stomach was churning, his head was spinning. Gururumon wished he could reassure David, but he couldn't without alerting the others to the fact that David was, to sum it up in one word, jealous of Hunter. David looked from Hakimi to Hunter and Reese.

"We need to stick together anyway and work out things together."

Jenny also noticed her big brother was worried about Hunter. Hunter better not try to break Reese and David up, or he will have me to deal with Jenny thought to herself, she forced a smile onto her face and nodded. "Reese, just listen to Hunter." She smiled. "Sure he is angry, crazed, violent and psychopathic but he is your friend." Jenny smiled.

Reese thought for a moment before she decided to listen to him. "You want to know what change me from being the nice guy," Hunter told them. "I'll tell you. My parents' divorcing, my step-father's brutal beatings, and James dying on me. I'm really sorry for being a loose cannon."

"If you told me that from the start," Reese said, "I wouldn't feel this scared of you. I guess I could let it go. Just don't break David and me up."

"But if he hurts you in any way," Hunter began, "he'll deal with me. Let get Nathan before he escapes."

"James doesn't want to see me all alone," Reese told him.

Jenny studied Hunter's face, he seemed sincere enough. David almost gave out a sigh of relief but he didn't. "Right, we need to get Nathan, Hunter is right, Gururumon!" David called out, the tall rabbit nodded and vines shot out of his claws, racing to catch up with Nathan, one looped around Nathan's foot.

"Going somewhere, Emperor?" Gururumon snarled and began dragging him back. David walked over to Hakimi.

"Listen Hakimi, we need to work as a team, all of us together against the darkness, for as long as you break away from the team you will fail and for as long as you use darkness as a tool, I will be against you." David gestured towards ChaosGallantmon as an example of using darkness as a tool. "But nonetheless Hakimi, you are a digidestined and we are a team." David stared Hakimi in the eye for a moment and then spun round and walked towards Nathan, summoning the staff of Wisdom to his hand as he went.

"Nathan, as you can see, most of us are quite eager to punish you." He crouched down next to Nathan. "And I am no exception, you really can't rely on me to protect you from Hunter," he whispered. "Because you are my enemy and I despise you, I think Hunter may get slightly mad at you, we'll see shall we?" David finished his whispering to Nathan got up and strolled back to Reese and Hunter. "What are we going to do with him?"

Reese and Hunter nodded before getting up to battle. She noticed Yolie getting killed by Nathan for attacking for life. "Yolie, no!" Reese shouted as Yolie's body laid limp now.

Hunter turned towards David. "Get him together," Hunter sneered. "And don't protect him from me. I see that Hakimi and ther others want a piece of him, But we can't beat him if Hakimi and Shafiq refuse to help us."

"I want the same thing too," Reese stated. "But I don't want a loose cannon like you. I'll do it for millions of people."

David stared at Nathan for a moment and turned to Gururumon. "Kill hi," David snarled. Gururumon was shocked.

"D-david?" Gururumon stuttered. David spun round and glared at Gururumon.

"Yes, you heard me, Nathan created the Dark Digidestined, he is responsible for the death of Miaka, Yolie, James..." David paused for a moment. "And others," he settled for. "He is a murderer and he cannot be allowed to live," David spat. Gururumon shook his head.

"No, David, I won't help you kill him," Gururumon said weakly, David's ankle started hurting immensely and he spoke with a different voice.

"David won't be doing the killing anymore." David laughed insanely as on his ankle the black blood turned into a crust with glowing yellow eyes "Nathan, old chappy, I must congratulate you! You have successfully given me a nice little grasp on a new body, I cannot say how much I thank you, but of course, later I will kill you," David laughed. Gururumon shook his head in disbelief.

"This isn't you, David." Gururumon staggered backwards. David turned towards Gururumon.

"Listen, bunny, David is dead, his essence is lying in some mangled heap at the corner of his mind, you can call me...the virus." Virus-David screamed, then he grinned and started singing.

"Digidestined, digidestined so peaceful you'll lie, we'll play some games and then you will die." Virus-David laughed insanely again.

Jenny stepped backwards from David towards Reese. "Something is wrong, Reese, even when he is angry David isn't like this, he isn't normal, there is something controlling him, I am sure." Jenny was starting to break down in tears.

Virus-David rolled his eyes. "Oh, is little Jenny crying because her brother is dead, you will be the first to die for that."

"Leave her alone," Hunter shouted as he punched Devi-David in the nose. "Hakimi, help me out now." He turned to Devi-David. "I knew this was gonna come. You've not only hurt Jenny but Reese as well."

"Nathan what have you done to him?" Reese angrilly asked as she and Jenny turned towards Nathan. "Gururumon, he did something to David. He scarred his ankle."

"Congratulations, brat." Nathan roared, "You win the ultimate prize. You see Chris didn't really die, he lives inside David. Yolie on the other hand, decided to betray me by siding with you."

"Hakimi and Guilmon killed him," she argued at him. "He died by them."

"Au Contrere, When the body dies the spirit takes over," Nathan explained. "You want David back, Reesy, kiss me."

"Over my dead body," Hunter roared. "That can't avoided, she knew you were corrupted, selfish, violent and obnoxious. Reese, the only way we can save David is that the group unite their powers to save him."

"I know you're not David!" Reese shouted as she turned to Devi-David. "The real David wouldn't hurt anybody. Isn't that right Chris? You corrupted him, treated him badly and bullied to no extent. Give him back to us NOW! Right Now! Or I can let Hakimi kill you again."

Reese and Devi-David began to battle each other. I know he's not David because he wouldn't hurt us. Chris and Nathan are behind this, Yolie warned us about Nathan's last stand.

"Gururumon, protect Jenny," Hunter shouted as he and Chamelemon left. "Pendamon, Chamelimon, deal with the dark digimon, I gotta a score to settle with Nathan Barias. You think you're gonna win again. You're gonna lose to me this time.

Virus-David groaned. "Now you see I have a little bargaining tool, you see if you kill me in this body, dear old David dies too and you wouldn't want that now would you?" Virus-David sniggered and reached out his hand blasting Reese backwards before holding her in an aura of darkness up into the air. His eyes glowed brighter and he filled Reese's mind with the sound of David screaming in pain, James crashing his car, Mallory and Jamie being tortured, Hunter going psycho. He filled Reese's mind with these jumbled hallucinations. Virus-David grinned.

"You may find, I have a few tricks up my sleeve." Virus-David laughed.

"REESE!" Hunter shouted as he threw Nathan towards Virus-David. "You bastard, what did you do to her?" He waited for answer from Virus-David. Then he charged at both Nathan and Virus David.

"Hunter wait!" a boy shouted as Hunter turned towards Chris. "David as virus put Reese into halucinations af everyone turning against her. I'll get Devi-David, you get Nathan. He'll pay for this. Including Yolie's death."

"Right, Chris!" Hunter agreed. "Nathan, you need to go." He turned to Virus-David. "Smithy, why do you treat chaps like myself? Was it because I hurt your feeling so much that you have the one with the power?" Chris watched Virus David get mad at him. "Whatsa matta, cat got your tounge?" He laughed at his enemy as he even got more mad.

Reese started getting illusions of everything. No this isn't what I wanted to see. "Reese, none of this is real," Hunter shouted. "Virus-David is behind this. Just remember the things that made you smile."

Virus-David growled slightly. "Hunter, Chris, please stop trying to deal with my business in shattering Reese's brain and soul." Virus-David growled and balls of darkness sent them both flying into trees, he waved a hand and the trees turned into evil Woodmon. Virus-David decided to make a new hallucination in Reese, of her brutally killing David and James and Hunter, he put some screams and shattering glass in too.

"James is dead, David is dead and soon Hunter and all the digidestined will die too, and I am going to make you watch it." Virus-David sneered and sent Reese flying back, chains appeared around her and bound her in place. He left the hallucinations to do their work and turned to the other digidestined.

"Hmm, I am so unsure of which one to kill, Jenny, you're lucky you can be one of the last to die, I think I will go for...Hunter." Virus-David grinned.

"Chris!" Hunter shouted. "I got an idea. He's afraid to remember what you exactly did to him. Jenny's agreed to help out for the team and for Reese and David."

"Sorry, Smithy!" Chris sneered as he punched Virus-David's grasp on Reese. "But I don't that's possible right now. Let her go right now! Or else I'll revoke a memory of what I did." He heard Virus-David ask. "LlKE WHAT? Ohhhhh, I'm *so* surprised. Let me remind you. Jenny, come here Chris had called you."

Hunter watched Jenny bravely stepped forward towards Chris as he hid Reese from Virus-David. "Good going Chris," Hunter whispered his approval.

"Now you will remember, SMITHY!" Chris roared as he pulled harshly on Jenny's hair and pushed her down to the ground. "Now I'm having soooooo much fun." He heard Jenny screaming at Chris to stop. They turned around to see Hunter giving the thumbs up at them. "Look at me, I'm David Smith. I'm the wierdest know-it-all, show-off in Cambridge, England. I can cross Chris because I'm the smart one and I don't know when to stop being in my mind world and telling my enemy off that he's worthless." He watched Virus-David get more upset with Chris not only making fun of him but hurting Jenny as well. "This isn't show now. It the Chris Roberts show, how does that fell Smithy." Chis continued the show as he jerked his thumb at Jenny. "Your sister. Jenny, doesn't think you're her brother anymore because you hurt her and now you're hurting your girlfriend, Reese Carlson. I don't neither one deserves it."

"Yeah, Smithy!" Hunter concurs. "If anyone deserves this it's ether Chris or myself. Leave Jenny and Reese alone."

"We'll leave you to your decision," Chris snided at Virus-David. "Where's Reese?"

"She's with her sisters," Hunter told him. "Calumon and Mallory agreed to hide her while we made a mockery out of David. You got David's Digivice?"

"Of course I do," Chris said.

Virus- David reached out and wrapped his fingers round Chris's neck, squeezing the life out of him. "Do you all want to see what has become of David Smith? I will show you!" The scenary around them changed to a stormy Chris, Virus was represented as a black smoke.

"Welcome to the mind, David is over there!" He pointed to a mangled, blood covered heap in the corner, he made sure everybody saw and then they returned to the normal world with him still squeezing the breath out of Chris.

"I grow tired at your increasingly lame attempts to wake up David, you saw him, he couldn't mount a mental attack against me if his life depended on it, and surprise surprise it does!" Virus-David laughed. Chris was struggling against Virus-David and he hurled him into a tree, reaching down and picking up Jenny in the dark aura.

"You saw your big bro too there didn't you, weak, mangled, destroyed, say goodbye Jenny Smith, David isn't coming to protect you this time." Virus-David laughed and filled Jenny with hallucinations.

Hunter witnessed Jenny and Chris being tortured by Virus-David. With David's green digivice in his hand along with his gold digivice.

"Leave them alone!" Reese shouted as her pink digivice healed her off the wounds Virus-David gave her. "Hunter help me free them. No, but I am. How dare you turn people's happiness into their own fears."

Hunter nodded as he and Reese charged at Virus-David. He realized it was their own mind world that was destroying them. "We really deserve another chance to make things right," Hunter said as he put the green and gold digivices. "You think you know what David is, huh Mr.Virus. Reese and I will liberate him from you."

"Hunter what's happening to you?" Reese asked as she witnessed what is happing to her friend. "Now I remember, it wasn't his anger that scared me. It was the Goliath strength human card that got Hunter into this."

Reese saw Hunter toss David's dark green digivice towards her. "Reese take David's digivice," Hunter shouted as he tossed it to her. "Only your digivice along with the others can stop him."

"What are you doing?" Reese shouted at him.

"Trust me on this one," Hunter told her. "Free David and the others. I have a score to settle." He pulled out is gold digivice. "Human scan modify. Goliath strength execute your strength towards me."

"David, stop it," Reese shouted at him. "The virus is making you do all this. You're the keeper of wisdom, not destruction. You're the first I told how much I care about you. Dark Green digivice do your work and help me free David from the virus peacefully. As the keeper of Peace, I can't let the bloodshed continue."

Reese's pink digivice along with David's digivice brought beams of light towards Virus-David. She found herself face-to-face with David and the others as more beams of light came from Cory's digivice, Shafiq's Digivice, Yuki's digivice, Meiming's Digivice, Hakimi's digivice, Hunter's digivice, and Racheal's Digivice.

"What's that?" Nathan shouted as he saw the beams of light coming towards Virus-David. "Reese, why? Virus-David watch out for the light."

As Reese talked a small spark of remorse and caring appeared in Virus-David's eyes, he shook it out quickly, he saw the the beams of light coming towards him and shrouded himself in darkness, the beams of light peirced them. "Argh!" Virus-David staggered back and then his head snapped to the right.

"Listen David, this is no time to throw a little control," Virus-David mumbled to himself, the head snapped to the left.

"I won't let you hurt them any more, Virus," Virus-David mumbled back, the head snapped to the right again.

"Reese has defeated me for now, but I will be back and your body offers excellant accomodation," Virus-David mumbled, dark smoke streamed out of his mouth, his ears and the scar on his leg burst into flames. The flames died down and David collapsed.

"I can't believe I did that," he muttered weakly, he looked up at Reese and Jenny. "Can you ever forgive me?"

"No, you won't, Virus!" Chris shouted as he took the virus out of David and implainted it into himself. "I'm taking you on until I die."

Reese fought against herself to faint again as she saw the scar on his ankle disappear. "David is that really you?" Reese asked as she came face to face with him. I did it for him and James. No messes with me including a virus.

Nathan witnessed the virus gone and back on a disk he kept with other viruses. "Noooooooooo," Nathan shouted at the top of his lungs. "Where did I go wrong to deserve this?"

"Maybe everything!" Hunter told him as he came face to face Nathan. "Hmmmm."

"What are you doing?" Nathan shouted as Hunter took the antiviral antidoite from him. "That belongs to ME."

"Why, I don't see your name on it." He sneered at Nathan. He saw how Nathan was afraid of him with his new found power against him.

As Chaos Gallantmon waiting for the egg to hatch, Hakimi appeared and looked at Nathan. He pulled out his sword of Leadership. "Now, let's end this game once and for all," said Hakimi, raising his sword. "Royal Saber!" yelled Hakimi. The attack hit Nathan and sliced him into 2 and disingrated.

He looked at David. "Come on, David. Attack me," said Hakimi.

"Wait bro!"

"Kimi, hold on!" Hakimi looked at Firdaus holds Terriermon, Natasya that holds Gatomon, Azuan running behind Armadillomon, Noraishah holds Lopmon, Laili run behind Renamon and Hijaz running behind Monodramon.

"Guys. You're here," said Hakimi.

"Okay, Kimi, it's time to digivolve," said Firdaus. Hakimi nodded.

"Firdaus, Terriermon, warp biomerge digivolved to Saint Galgomon!"

"Azuan, Armadillomon warp biomerge digivolved to Vikemon!"

"Noraishah, Lopmon, warp biomerge digivolved to Cerubimon!"

"Laili, Renamon, warp biomerge digivolved to Sakuyamon!"

"Hijaz, Monodramon, warp biomerge digivolved to Justimon!"

"Gatomon digivolved to Angewomon!"

Hakimi combined back with Chaos Gallantmon. The egg hatched and Armaggemon appeared.

David looked at Hakimi and shook his head. "No, I'm not against you, Hakimi, I won't attack you," he told him, he turned back to Reese and Jenny. "I don't think I can make up for any of the things I have done, I'll understand if you hate me," he said weakly. Gururumon looked up at the newly formed Armaggemon and aimed his claw.

"Ivy Claw!"

Reese and Jenny looked at each other as though they weren't ready to fight against David yet. "It wasn't your fault, love!" Reese said as she stepped forward. "It was the virus that controlled you."

"Reese we better fight now," Antaimon shouted and Reese nodded. "Antaimon biomerge digivolve to Ladrimon."

She turned to David as she prepared to leave. "We'll go after the Emperor, Nathan Barias," Ladrimon told him. "You want to join us."

"Floramon, let's go," Jamie yelled as she pulled out her lavender digivice.
