David saw the look between Reese and Jenny, he realised they were angry with him. He wasn't surprised but he pretended he was ok (rather unconvincingly) and Gururumon dedigivolved. "Gazimon biomerge digivolve to Archemon!" Archemon floated upwards and the tao symbol on his forehead powered up the attack. "Tao Balance!" The dark and light beams were caught by Armagemon and he sent them flying back, Archemon was knocked to the ground. Gazimon saw as he shared his thoughts with David that he knew Reese and Jenny were angry. Gazimon was uncomfortable, he was angry with David too and David too knew this. Archemon lifted himself off the floor and prepared to attack again.

Jenny was unsure what to do, she was angry with her brother, but at the same time she knew he was virtually ripping himself apart over it, she was unsure whether to just forget it or confront him about it. She tried to keep concentrated on the code she was typing in, the antidote code to Armagemon.

Jamie and Mallory decided to battle the emperor with Hunter. As Reese was still angry about it, she wanted to know what is tearing David apart virtually. "David what is going on with you?" Reese asked. "I want to know what is tearing you apart. I don't let anything get the best of me."

"What did you do to him, Nathan?" Hunter roared at him. "Answer me!"

Bealzemon walked into view, with Racheal and DarkRenamon held tightly in his grip. Racheal struggled, but was only clenched tighter. "Reese, help!" her voice was shattered by Bealzemon's ever tightening hand.

"What about your digivice?" DarkRenamon quarreled. Racheal's digimon's words were just enough to strike Racheal. She had forgotten until now. She scrambled around in her pocket, it was gone!

"Lookin' for this?" Bealzemon snickered as he crushed the aqa-blue digivice under his foot. Racheal closed her eyes, she was sure that there was nothing that she could do, and the others had to ward off a different enemy, this was her end. "I'll have fun pulling you apart limb by limb!" Bealzemon growled as he tossed Racheal onto the hard floor. Racheal grabbed for what was left of her digivice, only to have her fingers crushed by the mega's foot. She retrived her hand, not in much pain, as she looked back up to DarkRenamon who had kicked Bealzemon's face, and was then attacked with his 'Double Impact.' DarkRenamon felll under that strike, only being a champion after all, and fighting a mega.

"Impmon, why are you fighting us! We're your friends!" Racheal cried, a tear rolling down her cheek. Both of the digimon froze. The words echoed in Bealzemon's ears.

"Friends?" his voice sank, then grew again. "I don't need no friends, power is all that I need!"

"Yes, you say that you don't need anyone now, but wait until you're alone and helpless, when no-one who cares is around to hear your cry, and the ones who are there, won't do anything but watch you perish and laugh at your peril, when your own life will be your downfall!" The cat-human exclaimed as her digimon de-digivolved.

"We'll see about that!" Bealzemon sneered, pushing Racheal's words away as he slashed her face.

"Racheal, what's going on?" Reganmon asked as a golden glow surrounded her.

Racheal's eyes shifted from Bealzemon, to Reganmon, and then back again. "I will regret doing this," Racheal stated as she and Reganmon biomerged into Syphermon.

Chaos Gallantmon dedigivolved to tiredly Hakimi and Guilmon as others dedigivolved. "That's really a good battle," said Laili.

Suddenly Hakimi's laptop began to make weird sound. Hakimi opened it. Tentomon appeared. "Guys, the battle is not finished. The Digital World is in chaos. You.......going.........World..........." Tentomon didn't finished the sentences as the screen went down.

"What are we gonna do?" asked Firdaus.

"We're going back," said Hakimi.

"Back where?" asked Laili.

"Digital World. The chosen digimons are in danger. I might need your help," said Shafiq.

"How do we go to Digital World?" asked Noraishah.

Hakimi pulled out his Digivice. "You guys have this, right?" asked Hakimi.

Firdaus pulled out green digivice, Noraishah pulled out white digivice, Laili pulled out blue digivice, Azuan pulled out yellow digivice, Hijaz pulled out purple digivice and Natasya pulled out pink digivice.

Hakimi looked at Shafiq who nodded. "Holy Digivice, bring us back to Digital World!" yelled Hakimi, Firdaus, Noraishah, Azuan, Hijaz, Shafiq, Laili and Natasya. The light went out from the digivice and teleport them back to Digital World.

Archemon dedigivolved into David and Gazimon. David shook his head at Reese. "It doesn't matter," David sighed and turned to the digiportal and ran through. The digiworld was a horror. He materialised in what looked like some twisted unstable village, a mining village with digimon slaving away, the buildings were crumbling and patched up with rotting wood, the only non digimon life was one or two flowers just outside the gate, he could see the remains of "Infinity Mountain Village" but it had been boarded up with a new sign saying "Despair." David eyes were wide and Gazimon was in shock.

Reese and Antaimon watched as David and Gazimon were horrified at what Virus-David and Nathan did. "What do you think we should do?" Antaimon asked her tamer.

"Fight back against the darkness!" Reese told her digimon as she and Antaimon ran through the portal with David and Gazimon. "Let's fight the darkness together." I hope Jamie and Rosemon, Mallory and Sadomon are holding their ground with Nathan and the remainder of the dark digidestined.

Meanwhile Hunter was chasing a short Nathan into the forest as it was dark and dreary. "He's never gonna find me in here," Nathan said as he hid in the in the dunes. He watched for a minute to see if Hunter was going to find him. I am the Dark Digimon Emperor. I'm smarter than the average person. He chuckled as he saw Hunter search every tree for him.

"There he is," Rosemon shouted as she, Jamie, Mallory, Sadomon and Chamelemon caught sight of Nathan in the mud. "Rose thorn Whip."

"Ouch!" Nathan yelled as he came face to face with Reese's sisters Jamie and Mallory and their digimon. "How did you know?" He roared at them.

"OH puhlease," Jamie snided. "Our brother hid in the mud too when mum and dad called us for a bath."

Hunter searched for Nathan thoughout the forest. He checked for every tree for the guy but found nothing on him. If I were someone like Nathan, where would I hide. He checked the ground for Nathan but still found nothing. He heard Rosemon call out her Rose Thorn Whip attack on Nathan. Looks like Nathan has been sighted by Jamie and the others.

Sayuri and Makimon along with Seiji and Nefertimon and their friends ran across the digiport all the way from Tokyo, Japan. "Hakimi, let us join you in the battle," Sayuri called out.

Reese and Antaimon saw David in a worried state. "That's the reason why you need to fight it," Reese told him. "I don't give into despair because I know that is how I'll lose this fight. The only thing that the virus couldn't defeat was my peaceful nature against those who had died to keep the world we know it from fading away. Yolie made the sacrifice to save us. We have to see it through for her and the others. My friends could turn to me when they need my help, you can fight the virus. I'll help you, David!"

Nathan was shocked to know Jamie and their group knew where to find him. "How were you able to find ME?" he yelled at them. "I'm the Dark Digimon emperor."

"You mean a moronic, idiotic one," Mallory insulted him. "Besides you need a bath anyway." She pulled out Nymphmon's water strike.

Coranmon had long since devolved into Cory and Karatenmon. Cory's head was pounding and the black blood continued to ooze from the gash. She could feel the evil, the virus, pounding her skull, trying to find a weak link. I...can't...let this...happen. I can't be...turned into a monster...she thought. "Karatenmon...you must strike me down, I am becoming a danger to the group. The virus is getting too strong, I can't hold it back much longer."

Karatenmon devolved into Goukamon. "Fierce Protection!" she cried. She repelled the virus for the time being. Who knows how long that'll last... she thought, worried. "Righto," she remarked, "let's head to the digiworld. Talley-ho!" Cory grinned and followed her partner through the portal.

As Cory stepped through the portal, David thought he saw a flash of the black blood he had got during the stuggle with the virus, he leapt up. "Cory, let me see your head, the wound on your head I mean," David frowned. Gazimon shrugged at her and followed his partner.

Cory pulled back some of her hair so David could see the gash. "I got this in my first battle with SkullMeramon, when he struck me with his Metal Fireball...It should've scabbed over ages ago...I think it has some sorta connection with the virus..." Goukamon shuddered remembering how Cory had been left unconcious for a ages, well not ages, but it felt that way.

David went pale. "That's the same sort of scar I had when...when the virus was taking me over," David turned to Reese. "Didn't Nathan have the antidote to the virus?" David asked Reese. Meanwhile Jenny was typing a code into her computer and downloading it to her digivice.

"Yes he does," Reese told them. "It is inside of a disk he keeps. I was lucky Yolie didn't scar me. Jamie and Mallory went after him along with Hunter."

Cory nodded. "It is defenitly the same type. The virus has been trying to break in and turn me into a monster. Goukamon was able to repell it for a little while, but I fear it shall return soon. I understand if you want me to leave."

David shook his head. "No, I won't ask you to leave." David suddenly felt a pain in his head. He stood up. "Cory, Reese I need to leave NOW." David ran off into the forest as the pain started in his leg again and in his head.

Reese destroyed you, Virus, he thought,

Virus replied, Well I am back, you see she merely lay me dormant, gave you your freedom, but now I am back and I really want control, I need to destroy another virus, Virus told him.

Cory, David thought.

Yes, she's the host, Virus thought. You see there are four viruses, we used to be digimon in life but now we have to settle for entering and controlling others, it will do.

David ran even faster to get away from his friends. I won't let you hurt Reese, not this time, not ever, David thought.

Virus chuckled. Such protective thoughts, on the contrary David, however fast you run, when I take control- Virus was cut off by David.

If you take control, David snarled in his mind.

No, WHEN I take control, I will run twice as fast as you are running now and I will kill Reese, Jenny all of them. Virus laughed. David blocked him out of his mind and ran even faster away from them, typing a text as he went.

<To Digidestined, I want you to get as far away from me as possible, the virus is back in me and he will destroy you all if you try and fight him, I don't want to cause any more harm, David>

Jamie, Mallory, Sadomon and Rosemon returned with Nathan towards Reese, Jenny and Cory. The virus has returned to David as well as Cory has it. Why am I the one not effected by it? Is Hunter and the others protecting me or something. She gave it some thought before emailing Hakimi & Hunter to talk to her. "Good at least you two are here," Reese said relieved that Jamie and Mallory brought Nathan Barias over. "Where's the antidote? Answer me."

"Inside the gold disk that Hunter took away from ME!" Nathan shouted as Hunter returned with the gold disk.

"Give it to us so we can fight it," Reese demanded.

"Unfortunately, the virus didn't have any effect on you, your sisters, Hakimi, and el stupido," Nathan snided as Hunter loomed over him. "You and the others aren't that dark as you guys kept the light over the dark." He dropped the gold disk towads Reese and the group minus David.

"Jenny, take the gold disk and analyze it," Jamie called out. "We'll handle Nathan and he better talk or else."

"I have nothing to say to you," Nathan yelled as he tried to run away but Chamelemon, Rosemon, Pendamon, and Sadomon blocked his path.

"Talk or suffer," Reese shouted as she punched him in the stomach.

Hunter in his new form sat down while Reese and Jamie interrogated him for answers. Nathan continued to refuse to answer them as they kept questioning him for answers to reverse the Virus. Mallory walked towards Hunter in Goliath form. "Aren't you afraid of me?" Hunter asked as Mallory shook her head.

Cory read the message on her digivice. Suddenly she had an idea.

<David, stay where you are. I have and idea that will help you, Cory>

Cory ran through the woods to find David. "Quick! Show me your ankle." She put her hand on the cut and attempted to suck away the virus. The virus was contained inside of her along with the other. "Run David. With two viruses inside of me I will not be able to stay myself for long. Now go!"

Jenny slipped the disk into her laptop and typed furiously. "The disk is locked, it will take me a while to open it, I have to decode the lock, find the necessary parts, change them and load the changes and all that takes pretty long, I will try but don't keep your hopes high for a swift recovery." Jenny scowled and began cross-referencing the code with all known computer languages.

David sat next to a tree and clutched his head.

You will die David, all your friends will die and I will make Reese scream in agony before I kill her, Virus laughed.

David shook his head. No, Virus, they won't die, David told him, but his will was weakening.

Oh but they will, who is going to stop me? You? I am one of the great dark viruses, digimon and human alike cower before me, Reese will scream and you will watch before you die. Virus laughed and grasped another part of David's mind.

You are limited to one part of your mind, let go David, Virus snarled.

David thought to himself and shook his head barely. No, I will fight you to the bitter end Virus, David told Virus, then he felt the dark claws closing on the last part of his mind.

That bitter end is now, David, Virus laughed.

Jenny was surpised that the code didn't coincide with any programming language. She tried cross-referencing it with current european languages.

David's eyes closed for a moment and then opened again glowing red.

"Well, I do believe I have an appointment, with some digidestined and a fellow virus I need to kill." Virus-David grinned to himself and ran towards Reese and the others, twice as fast as David. "I am coming digidestined, meet your doom!"

"Someone's coming," Chamelimon shouted as a new virus headed back towards them. It got Hunter's attention as he slipped Mallory into his shirt pocket before standing up.

"Sorry, kid," Hunter told Mallory as he slipped her into his pocket before standing up to walk. Nathan just smiled as a new virus took its place this time inside Cory as David returned as himself.

Jamie peered over to Jenny as she continued to type on the gold disk for information to decode it. "Have you figured it out yet?" Jamie asked as she heard Reese yell at Nathan on the other side.

"Well are you gonna talk or are we gonna have to torture you," Reese yelled at Nathan.

"I still have nothing to say to you," Nathan said as he continued to bluff them.

"Roses Rapier," Rosemon shouted as rose petals fell on Nathan. "Talk or we'll attack."

"Do your worst," Nathan said as he challenged them.

"Holy Light," Pendamon shouted as her holy light hit him as well.

"Calu Beams," Sadomon yelled as his tri beams attacked him. Nathan continued to get hurt as Chamelimon, Pendamon, Rosemon and Sadomon attacked him with full force.

"Are you gonna talk now?" Reese asked as an idea formed into her head. "Or I gonna let these digimon torture you."

"What do you think you're doing?" Nathan yelled at Reese. He noticed the four digimon move in on him. "All right I'll talk."

Spill it out," Reese said. "Now!"

"There are two codes to get into the gold disk." Nathan stopped for a moment until he continued. "In order to defeat the virus the four hit Faith, Valor, Courage and Wisdom have to find inner peace with themselves amd remember their happiness. The first code is Freedom and the second code is Hope."

Virus-David roared as Cory tried to suck out the virus then settled down, the wound closed up before Cory could suck him all out. "Nathan, stay where you are, I need to kill you." Virus-David was at a slight indecision of who to kill first. Then he saw Jenny decoding the lock on the disk. He fired a sphere of darkness at her, sending her flying away.

Jenny had typed in the first code before she was blasted away. She was still only half-way to unlocking it and now she had Virus-David preparing to destroy the computer.

"You forgot about one thing, Nathan. I'm the only one who had power of dark side. This time, I'll use it effectively," said Hakimi, pulled out his black card. "Card scan DigiModify! Dark Evolution!" yelled Hakimi.

"Guilmon Dark Digivolved to Megidramon!"

"Darkness Ray!" yelled Megidramon. The attack hits Nathan and disingrated (again).

Hakimi looked at David. He pulled out a card. "Card scan DigiModify! Arrow of Light activated!" yelled Hakimi. An arrow appeared on Megidramon's hand and Megidramon threw it towards David and hit David's head.

"Cool, head shot," said Shafiq.

Hakimi looked at Infinity Mountain. "Megidramon, let's go," said Hakimi. Megidramon nodded.

Virus-David snarled when the arrow hit his head. "Not so fast Hakimi." He reached out his hand and chains appeared around Hakimi, chaining him to the ground. Virus-David turned to Jenny and the computer, he reached out his hand and a whole new code appeared on the screen. "Decode that!" Virus-David turned round and looked around. "Now who wants to die first?"

Reese stepped foward to David now a virus again. "The virus is back again," Reese shouted to the group. "Jamie, get the others out of here. Before the Virus kills us."

"Yeah," Jamie managed to say before waking up the others. "Let's go people."

She saw Jamie leave with the group except for Antaimon and Hakimi. "I driven you out, Virus," Reese shouted at Virus-David. "Why are you back? Let me guess David."

"Goukamon!" Cory shouted against clenched teeth. "Protect them! I cannot hold up against the virus much longer!"

Goukamon nodded. "Fierce Protection!" An orb of light surrounded the digidestined and the digimon, leaving Virus David and Cory, soon to be Virus Cory, on the outside.

No! Cory though angrily. You can't beat me down! I will fight you the whole way with my Valor!

You are wrong, Cory. Your valor will do nothing against me. I am more powerful than you think. The virus leered at her.

I think you underestimate me, Virus. Cory slummped to her knees, her will was desolving. You aren't gonna defeat me! You hear that! I'm not gonna let you use my strength as a weapon! She screamed mentally at the virus.

You are wrong! The end is now. Cory's shut her eyes for a moment as she stood. When she opened them they were glowing red. She shot a ball of black fire towards Virus David. "There's only rom for one of us wimp." She pushed Virus David to the ground. "And I plan on sticking around."

"Oh great, two viruses to deal with," Reese said as Cory was now a host to anther virus. "Why wasn't I affected by a virus, Goukamon?" She saw Goukamon use her fierce protection on the others.

"LadyDevimon didn't scar you," Antaimon told her tamer. "Because I wouldn't let her put a virus in you."

"Reese, I'm scared." Mallory said as she and Calumon were frightened. Reese saw Jamie hug Mallory and Calumon when they were scared. She stood her ground along with Antaimon, Floramon, Frogmon, Hakimi, Hunter, and Guilmon.

How do I drive away two viruses from my friends? Because of Hakimi's selfish ways, he hurt Nathan. He was the one who could actually reverse the viruses effect on Cory and David. He told us after the two coded passwords, there was a third one too. We'll never know what it is. Jenny hang in there, as keeper of Peace I won't let the violence win over us.

"Hunter we need you to keep the forcefield going," Reese called out. "I need to Email Yuki, Meiming, Shafiq and Racheal. We need to buy some time."

"The two viuses have taken over the keepers of Valor and Wisdom," Nathan said. "I won't the third code."

"Hunter, Hakimi," Reese called out. "Do your worst with him." She pointed towards Nathan who was tied up to a tree by Floramon and Antaimon.

"What are you doing, Reesy?" Nathan shouted.

"And don't call me Reesy," Reese yelled at him. "No one calls me that without punishment."

Virus-David got up and glared at Virus-Cory. "Who came up with all the plans when we were alive? Me, who recognised your power? Me, you are just a henchman." Virus-David snarled to Virus-Cory.

Jenny turned to Centaurimon. "Do it," she told him. Centaurimon aimed at Virus-David.

"Solar Blast!" The ball of golden energy slammed right into Virus-David and sent him flying. He got up and answered Reese's question.

"David despite all his wisdom is not really the one for strength, so easy for him to be taken over." Virus-David gave Reese a slight sneer and reached out, a dark shape formed out of smoke and turned into a Gazimon, a carbon copy of the digidestined Gazimon.

"How?" Gazimon1 (Digidestined Gazimon) muttered, Gazimon2 (Carbon Gazimon) grinned.

"Gazimon digivolve to BlackGururumon!" Gazimon2 was replaced by BlackGururumon, the same as Gururumon but with reversed colours. He turned to Cory.

"See, I am going to win this battle," Virus-David said lightly and shot a ball of darkness towards Virus-Cory.

"Well I just thought that maybe David is never coming back," Nathan started. "That I take his place as your boyfriend Reesy."

"My sister wouldn't date you even if you're the last person on earth," Jamie sneered at him. "And futhermore, you better tell us how to reverse this or else."

"I'll take or else," Nathan challenged her.

"Rose Thorn Whip," Rosemon shouted as she whipped Nathan. "Tell us."

"Never!" Nathan continued to resist. "I still refuse to talk."

"Oh really!" Reese yelled as she kneed him in the stomach. "Are you gonna talk?"

"NO! I still have nothing to say to you!" Nathan shouted as he continued to get hurt by Rosemon. "Ouch. Lay off you lousy excuse for a digimon."

"Start talking right now!" Reese shouted at him.

Mallory and Calumon hid behind Goukamon as Jamie and Reese continued to demand how to reverse the Virus, Nathan put in David and Cory. "Where is the guy?" Mallory said as she held onto Calumon.

"I don't know, Mallory," Calumon told her. "But we gotta stay strong for Reese and Jamie. We can't give into fear."

Hunter saw Reese and the others in Goukamon's force field. He heard Reese demand to know how to reverse the Virus to get David and Cory back. He noticed Mallory and Calumon scared out of their wits as the two viruses feared them. He was lucky to be in the force field as the two were scared of the viruses.

"Heat Eye Hypnotism," Chamelemon shouted has he hit Nathan. "Talk."

Virus-David grinned. "Utter one word Nathan Barias and I kill you." Virus-David sneered. "I am the master here, not you." He reached out his hand and waves of excruciating pain ran through Nathan's tongue, lips, throat and lungs. Virus-David made sure it felt like Nathan's tongue was burning, that his lungs were collapsing, that his throat was being ripped apart and that his lips had a dull ache.

"Of course I will kill you anyway, but if you utter one word to them I will make your death not only exceedingly painful but I will torture the viral remains of your wretched soul." Virus-David grinned and blasted Reese, Hunter and Reese's sisters into the rock wall.

"Hate me if you must Virus-boy," Nathan snided. "But it's too late. I told them the last to the gold disk is Peace. I'm still the Dark Digimon Emperor, not you."

Reese typed her email to Jenny on the last Code to complete the antidote to free David and Cory from the Virus. "You may control David and Cory, Virus," Reese said as she faced Virus Cory and Virus David. "But you won't have my friends, my sisters without a fight."

I know you saw through the virus, Nathan answered though his thoughts. Reese there isn't much time. Activate the gold disk antidote program now. I'll hold off the two viruses until then.

Reese typed her email to Jenny to launch the Anti-Virus program now.

Jenny prepared to launch the anti-virus program. Virus-David saw her and reached out his hand, lifting her away from the computer. "I don't think so!" Virus-David snarled and hurled Jenny into a tree. "Bye bye Computer." He hurled a fireball, the computer exploded and the gold disk was sent flying. He turned to Cory.

"I need to destroy you quickly now." He reached out his hand and a rain of darkness fell onto Cory.

Reese ran towards Virus David and blocked him from Cory. "You hurt anyone, you hurt ME!" Reese said as she blocked David from Cory. "I'll protect my friends no matter the cost. I'm not afraid of you virus. Come out of David and fight ME."

"You, Hakimi and the others aren't effected by this because I saved the disk and I want you to use my Laptop," Jamie shouted. "We're gonna buy time for you guys to leave."

"We're not gonna lose this round Virus," Reese shouted. "Get out of your hosts and fight us."

They watched Hakimi step forward along with Guilmon, Pendamon and Rosemon. Looks like Hakimi wants to join us this round. They saw the Gold disk turn into golden card and fell towards Reese. She hid it in her pocket and then faced Virus David and Virus Cory.

Hunter witnessed Reese, Jamie, Hakimi and their digimon's blocking Virus-David from Cory. He noticed Reese's sister, Mallory and Calumon were equally scared of the two viruses that they faced. The younger children that feel scared is what kills me mentally and physically. When it comes to younger kids, I can't think of myself without putting them to safety first, he thought as Chamelimon decided to join Reese and the others. At least Reese and the others are gonna buy time for us.

"This is the end of the road for you," Chamelimon shouted at the viuses as he joined Reese and the three. "We need to buy Jenny time with Jamie's laptop."

Virus-David stared at Reese for a moment while she was talking. He balanced a ball of fire on his hand and prepared to hurl it straight into her face, it flickered out. He tried again, bringing meteorites down from the sky but flicking them away at the last moment.

"Why can't I bring myself to kill one filthy digidestined like Reese!" Virus-David exaclaimed and turned away from Reese, muttering under his breath.

Jenny ran over to Jamie's computer. "Look, you're doing it all wrong," she started writing the code in.

Virus-David turned to DarkGururumon. "Kill Reese, I don't care how just do it," he ordered, DarkGururumon reared up to strike before dissolving. Virus-David glared and lowered his hand, he had destroyed DarkGururumon. "Why can't I bring myself to do it? In my life I slaughtered unmercifully but now I cannot even torture and kill one girl," Virus-David roared.

Reese was shocked Virus-David isn't able to kill her. Maybe there's some of David left in the ugly virus that left him scarred in the ankle.

"Hey Virus look what I got." Reese shouted as she pulled out a golden light card. "Golden card DigiModify, Golden Beam of light activate." When she called out the golden light card, it brought forth beams of light from the digivices of the others and the people of earth.

Virus-David roared and leaped out of the way of the golden light, it followed, he ran and prepared to kill Reese as all the golden beams focused on him, he swiped down but stopped right at her cheek, pointing at his own face and and slashing downwards. "Stop damaging our body you fool!" Virus-David cried, then in a different, less malicious voice.
