Cory woke up to the sound of rushing water. She groaned and rolled over. Yelping with pain she leaped to her feet. She was lying in the middle of a brier patch! Her legs and arms were covered in countless scratches and her scalp was bloodied. Great, she thought, First I find a weird thingy, get thrown off a cliff and fall in a thorn patch. Jeez, why does everything happen to me? She walked over to the stream she had heard. Then it dawned on her. Wait! There was no stream here when I was climbing... She looked up. There was no cliff. Uh oh...This can't be good. Where am I? She decided to look for that orange device, maybe that had some answers for her. She finally found it in the bush, earning several more cuts in the process. Pressing a button she saw a bunch of bars. Well, that's no help! I'll try this one! She thought pressing another button. This one showed the time, 2:15. She sighed and pressed the remaining button. This showed a map with several multicolored dots on it. She quickly identified her self as the orange one.

David groaned as he pushed himself off the ground and surveyed the device in his hand. He saw different coloured dots blipping around a map, he experimented, moving left and right. The green dot moved with him so he assumed that was him. He noticed several of his belongings lying around him. His flute, a small notepad and a pen. He tucked them all into his jacket and walked on. He was clearly in a forest and as he walked along he noticed that trees would block his way back behind him. He ignored it and continued onwards. Finally he turned around to the half circle around him. He stared at it for a moment looking for signs of movement. When he was content it was devoid of them he turned back round, only to see to his dismay the trees had moved into a complete circle. An unbroken barrier of trees. He stepped into the centre and turned round and round, looking for a way out. Suddenly, a tree spoke: "We are the Woodmon, you have trespassed in our forest."

Deciding that it would make much sense to meet up with the other people here, Cory look back at the orangy device in her hand. The closest dot to her orange one was a deep forest green. She walked towards the dot, keeping her eyes on it, which, probably was not the smartest thing she could've done, considering she walked straight into a tree. The tree turned towards her and two yellow eyes opened. It spoke in a deep, angry voice, "We are the Woodmon, you have trespassed in our forest. Cory yelped as the talking tree made a grab for her. She dove passed it and went running blindly until she crashed into a boy. Well, she thought, At least I found the "green dot" "Hey, I'm Cory. Umm...d'you know what those things are?" She pointed to the talking trees which were advancing twards them.

David looked at Cory and gulped. "Does it really matter? The fact that they are big and angry is the thing that bothers me most!" He looked for a gap in the trees but there were none. The Woodmon growled and raised their branchs with intent to crush the two.

David turned to Cory and squeaked. "It has been nice meeting you!" He then braced himself for the crash.

"ELECTRIC STUN SHOCKER!!!!!" A lightning bolt crackled through the trees and shocked a Woodmon leaving the two a noticeably gap.

Cory opened one tightly shut eye. The expected crash had not fallen. She had heard the voice, but did not ponder who had shouted it. Instead, ceasing the oppertunity, grabbed the boy's arm and sprinted out through the gap before the talking trees could close it up again.

Blue. White. Yuki Itoh was looking at the sky. Well, as much as one Knocked out girl could. She stirred.

"Ugh...Did someone catch that Stampeding Herd of Wild Elephants? Or at least the number of that bus? Wait a moment...MY LAPTOP!" Yuki grabbed her bag and pulled out a sliver Laptop.

"It's Okay. Whew, Now what? What's that?" She had spotted one Orange-red thing. She Noted that on the screen that there were coloured dots. For example, One was Orange, the other was Green, and one was orange-red. "It looks like that's in that Forest over there." Yuki walked toward the Fast moving Orange and Green dots. But in the Shadows, something moved. It Bounded out of the tall grass.

"Hi! I've Been Waiting for you, Yuki! We're Gonna Be great friends!" It Chirped Happily.

Reese woke up in the middle of the flower garden all sleepy and grumpy. She has only been here for a few hours... or at least that is what she thinks. Man I am soooo hungry right now. What are those things that smile at me. "Hello, we are known as the Palmons. We're the ones who sheltered you."

"Geee thats very nice of you to do so.", Reese said as she got up. She looked at the thingamajig box. Am I dreaming or what? If I not dreaming then Where am I? and What is this thing? It maybe a digivice. A yellow one. She let her green hair down and brushed it with her comb, then re-tied it with her scrunchie. Maybe I'm the yellow one. Reese's thoughts were interupter by two people running for their lives from the Tree like monsters. "Hey you two keep running from them?" Reese shouted. "By the way My name's Reese. whats yours?"

She pauses to catch a breath. "Hullo, I'm Cory. I don't know who he is," indicating the boy. "I just crashed into him, literally, and then we were running away from those talking trees..." She looked over her shoulder. They seemed to have disappeared into the forest, she was happy to see that. "So d'you have one of these thingies too?" She holds up the orange thingy.

As MeiMing finally awoke, she had realized someone or something was carrying her. She still could'nt see who its was though. She tried all her might to open her eys, but her body just would'nt allow her too. Its seemed useless to try, all her energy was totally drained. All she could do was hope that the person carrying her was not going to hurt her in anyway in this state.

After what seemed like hours she attempted to open her eyes again. When she did, she found herself to be in a large cave and who ever brought her here was now where to be found.

" Hmmm...seems like my sight has come back, wonder if I can stand." She said then stood up, then fell back down.

" I guess not...."

David smiled and introduced himself after the girl with the yellow device had. He then had a terrible thought. "How do we know which foods are poisonous, we don't know anything about this world" He pointed out to Reese and Cory "And if we went out and picked a fruit, in this place, how do we know it won't bite or that the tree will be too happy." He then went quiet, suprised at his confidence. "Maybe we should talk to some locals" He added.

Reese left with David and Cory to ask some of the natives about the food in the Digiworld. As they were walking, she had a lot of things on her mind but decided not ot say anything until she is certain they will listen to her. She turned to the Palmons and said, "Excuse me, but do you know where we can get some food? We need to eat before we continue to walk." The Palmons shook their heads and they continue their way until they reach the beach. "This gets even more wierd, guys", Reese said uncertain.

"Maybe there are fish!" David suggested, pointing to the sea "Then again, in this place, maybe there are no fish or that the fish have big teeth...and spears" An image of a huge fish with a spear and tusks popped into his head. "Maybe fishing isn't such a good idea, but at any rate we can drink the water, it won't bite...hopefully"

He thought back to the forest. "I have an idea for a source of food, but I would rather not try it..."

"Well, if it's anything having to do with the evil talking trees, then nooooo way. I've had about enough of those to last me a life time!" She grinned. "The water might be a good idea, I've never heard of water biting...but I agree about the fishing. Definitely not a good idea."

Blue. White. And Gritty Sand(TM) up your shorts.And That's where Yuki had found herself when she woke up. On the Beach. With Gritty Sand(TM) Up Her shorts.

"ARRGH!" she Growled. "I Soo Did NOT need THIS. I'm LOST, I'm Hungry, AND I HAVE SAND UP MY SHORTS!!" Yuki Picked Up Her Bag. "Waitananosecond...I was sure I was wearing a Skirt!" Then She Spotted some people up a path, but not before she saw the Palmons. She Blinked. and Pinched herself Hard. "Well, Watta Know. Monsters."

"We're not Monsters... We're Digital Monsters! Digimon for short!" One of the Palmon Chirped.

"Uh...um..Okaaayy...I think...MY LAPTOP!!" Yuki snatched her bag away from one of the palamon, Opened it, and pulled out a sliver laptop. "Whew. It's Okay...What's That?" An Orange-Red Thing. "Uh..I'll just put it here." She put on her belt. She then put Everything back in her bag, and walked towards those people she saw. Two were girls, and there was one boy. "Hello. My Name is Yuki Itoh. If you don't Mess with me, I don't Mess you. Understand? Good. Now, If you don't mind, I'm Hungry, so I'm gonna Eat my Lunch now." Yuki Plopped down on the path, ( after removing the Sand from her shorts.) Pulled out her lunch.

David looked over at the new arrival. He was a bit taken back by her...needless to say...confident and somewhat brackish behavoir. He was more taken back by her lunch and he stared at it intently. He hadn't realised how hungry he was till just now. He quickly snapped his attention away from it and returned to talking about how to get food.

"Now if we could just sneak into the forest and grab an apple or two" His attention was drawn back to the lunch Yuki was eating. "That looks...uh...tasty" He remarked staring down at the lunch. "Very...uh...tasty"

David replied to Cory without taking his gaze from the lunch which mesmerized him. "Well that is that plan out the window", He looked up to the sky and he could swear he saw a big bird with a ribbon saying "Plan" flying into the distance. It could have been his imagination, but he was willing to bet anything in this crazy world.

"Ok, plan two, we ask those Palmon if they could share their food with us, except they are plants so they might live off sunlight" He mused.

"So where are we? Who are you? And why are you staring at my lunch?" Yuki Said, taking a bite of her sandwich, and swallowing. " It's Good. So...You don't have any food. Uh...I'll share my Lunch with you, 'cause droolgirl over there's making me feel bad. Say, We should save our food, so we'll only eat the sandwich tonight. Does anyone have Fresh Water? Or anything I can use to make Fresh Water? And I'll Like to know who You are?"

"Hello, mate!" Reese said. "My mane is Reese. We appreciate you sharing your lunch with us." Reese looked at her, David and Cory with a friendly smile. She opened her bag and revealed four water bottles. "I have some water enough for the four of us. I like to know something though. Do you have those wierd thing devices that Cory, David and I have?"

Cory grins, emerald eyes sparkling. "Hey Yuki, I'm Cory. This is really nice of you to share some grub with us poor, hungry, travelers! Oh and by the way, who are you calling 'droolgirl'?" She plops down on the sand drawing out the orange device thing in her pocket. "Does anyone have any ideas as to what the heck these thingies are? I'm totally confused!"

Reese stared at her yellow thingy uncertain because her brother never told her anything about the wierd game he was playing. "I don't know but I think they are called Digivices. This poped out of my computer three days ago." Reese turned to Yuki and whispered, "You have to excuse her. She gets impulsive when people say things about her that she don't like." She hopes that after they eat, they should rest up because when morning comes they need to get going. "Y' know what, maybe we should rest. Since we're gonna need to save our energy to find others."

David munched joyfully on his sandwich. And drank joyfully from his bottle of water."Rest would be nice, but what if one of those Woodmon or a Palmon that is running from the law or some sea serpent attacks us while we rest, safety in numbers I say" He took another bite out of his sandwich. "Mmmmm, delicous"

"I don't know for sure, Dave. But Chances are we're gonna have to take a risk making someone watch the stuff while the rest of us rest. Just leaving our stuff unattended is already a bigger risk." Reese stopped for a moment to finish off her sandwich. "This is pretty good." She turned to Cory and asked. "What do you think right now?"

"What do I think? I Think you all need more rest than me. So I watch the stuff first. I make my lunches, so thank you. I'm sure that in a while I wake one of you up so that I can sleep as well." Yuki drank a large amount of water. "I agree. Staying together in this case would be a smart move. We should make camp for a while. "

"Excellent" David cried and in a moment he was snoring soundly.

Meanwhile from the forest, two eyes watched them, two grey ears listened to them and one grey nose sniffed them.

"Uhhh thanx Yuki but I'll stay up a little bit longer", Reese said. Besides she wasn't that much sleepy anyway. She heard both Cory and David snoring and it was annoying to her anyway. "Yuki, I'll watch the stuff with you anyway because I'd think it's smarter that there are two so one can help out." She took a sip of water from her yellow water bottle.

Cory glanced at the darkening sky. "Hey guys, I've been thinking...maybe we should get some fire wood to have a fire on the beach. It might ward away any animals who come closer..."

Racheal struggled to open her eyes, voices echoed in her throbbing head. She peered up, her eyes were clouded and out of focus for a moment. When her vision came back, Racheal noticed that she was in a thicket of firr trees. She sprang up, wanting to know where exactly she was. There was a cave about a furlong away. All of a sudden, her leg froze, there was something grasping it. Her eyes quickly shot down only to lock onto a small and black cat-like character that clenched her bell-bottoms. It looked kind-of like a ktten, only with blue gloves, it's big, dark-blue eyes glared up at her. It had a confused look upon it's face. Racheal store at it for what seemed like ages, then the little Digimon broke the eye-contact and struggled up onto Racheal's shoulders as it growled. The cat-human's body stiffened. "What are you?" she questioned in wonder. the Digimon just peered out into the forest, her heart beat rapidly... Something hunted her.....

Reese took a sip of her water and thought about it. "Maybe you should wake David up because you might need someone to help you with carrying the wood." Reese stoped for a moment before finishing. "Yuki and I will stay here and watch the stuff. Anyway I have a portable flashlight to ward off any other wierd monsters that come out way." Dang, I hate having sand dirtying up my denim skirt and my Chinese shirt with the peaceful symbol. Reese used her yellow bandana to wipe the sweat of her forehead.

Yuki walked over to David quickly. "HEY! YOU! DAVID! DINNER!" she bellowed in his ear. Hoping that that would wake him up, she returned to Reese and Cory. She grabbed Reese's "Flashtorch" (that's what she called the Flashlight.) and promtly shined it straight into David's Eyes. "Wake Up!"

Suddenly Shafiq shocked as his digivice began to shine. He picked up the digivice and looked at it. It changed from yellow to orange. What the heck is happened? thought Shafiq. "Afiq!" Shafiq turned at Armadillomon began to disingrated. "Armadillomon!" yelled Shafiq, turned Hakimi on.

"What's wrong?" asked Hakimi. Suddenly the ground began to shuttle and they fall.

Shafiq woke up slowly and find an orange T-Rex digimon sitting next to him. "I don't know who you are but don't hurt me," said Shafiq. "Relax. I'm your digimon, Agumon," said Agumon. Shafiq shocked. "Agumon? Wow, that's my favorite digimon," said Shafiq. "Really?" asked Agumon. Shafiq nodded.

Hakimi and Guilmon walked towards them. "Are you okay?" asked Hakimi.

"Never had been better," said Shafiq.

"I believe that you found your favorites?" asked Hakimi. Shafiq nodded with a smile. "First thing first. Let's get out from here before any Digimon show up," said Hakimi. Shafiq nodded. "Too late!" yelled Guilmon as a yellow giant teddy bear walked towards them. "Monzaemon!" yelled Hakimi, Agumon and Guilmon.

"I hate to interrupt but why Monzaemon is attacking us? He's good Digimon right?" asked Shafiq.

"Maybe he's processed by Black Gear or something," said Hakimi.

"Wake up Miaka! Wake up!" Monodramon said trying to pull her up but failing miserably. "Hurry! If you don't wake up now, you'll never get the chance to wake up ever again!" He said with his voice full of terror.

Something was there and he knew it since the first time they came and to the fact that it was night now didn't make it any easier. He was quite sure by now that this wasn't any bird now....its was something much bigger. By then Miaka had already awoken and sat up besides Monodramon slowly.

"What do you think it is?" Miaka said yawning.

"Oh my....Geez, you scared me half to death! If thats possible since im already terrified...I thought you were still sleeping."

"Yeah I was untill now that is. So what do you think it is?" She said turning to Monodramon.

"Well I think its a cat hybrid with gold and silver fur...."

"What type is its other half then?"

"I not positive cause I saw a set of demon wings and angel wings, by what I saw I can't really tell if its a demon or angel type digimon."

"Ok, that's enough to satisfy me.Thanks." She said picking up a large sized rock.

"Wha....Wha...What are you doing?!?"

"What else? I'm going to throw this rock at it from here and maybe then you can decifer what it is while I run around screaming my head off like a little girl." She said smirking at him.

"Oh! I REALLY aprciate the sacasim! But don't you think its not the time for it!*Shivers* Anyway, anytime you be sacastic its sound like your serious. Its quite scary ya no? So dont do it!"

"Fine Suite yourself...."

David stared in horror from Cory to Yuki to Reese. "You cannot be serious, that forest with the living trees?!?!? We will die!" He shrieked. Gazimon offered his paw to Reese.

"Pleased to meet you Reese, I am Gazimon" He grinned and turned to Antaimon. "Hey, Antaimon haven't seen you in a while, I never thought you would end up with a human girl, I am deeply sorry for you Antaimon" The grey digimon produced a square of red cotton from mid-air and wiped his eyes for Antaimon.

"WELL ON TO THE FOREST!!!!" He yelled to the sky and marched towards the looming trees giving Cory and David sharp kicks as he went.

Laughing, Yuki followed. When they got there...

"YOU ARE TRESPASING IN OUR FOREST!!!"

David smiled weakly "I hate to say I told you so but...uh...I told you so" He told the others. The Woodmon surrounded them in a second with about fifty or so making a long line for something to walk through directly in front of them and a larger tree was walking up it before stopping at the edge of the circle. He had more green foliage than the others and his trunk was covered in primitive paintings, he held a iron staff in one branch-like claw. "I am Cherrymon, twice your kind have trespassed in my forest. I could have abided the first time a simple mistake, but you come again and this time looking for the wood of my sons and daughters! I refuse to let you continue, you will die" The huge tree roared.

There was a moment of silence, then one of the woodmon spoke with a gnarly voice; "I've found another snoopin' around our forest!' As he said this, he dropped Racheal onto the leave-covered ground. She sprand to her feet like a flash of lightning. 'I wont do it again, I promise!' She exclaimed as she stood straight up, hands at her side, looking like a ROTC caddet, being late on his first day of training.The woodmon chuckled at the sight, but still didn't give in. Just then, Racheal remembered about her new 'partner' she looked around the encircled ground, Reganmon was nowhere to be seen! "Looking for something, well, maybe I can asist you!" another woodmon shouted. Racheal turned quickly; there was Reganmon, clenched in a woodmon's fist, but not looking that bad at the moment.

The Woodmon swayed and hummed, shaking their branches and rattling their fruit. Gazimon crept round and looked for a way out, he prepared to make a charge and knock on of the trees over but his foot was grabbed and pulled by a Woodmon's vine. The Woodmon held him high and inspected him.

"This Gazimon is the one that kept stealing our fruit!!!!!" The Woodmon cried, all the other Woodmon gasped and growled. Gazimon giggled nervously.

"Stealing is such a strong word" He pulled a ribbon from his ear and offered weakly "Ribbon?"

The sound of Gazimon shouting in pain as he was banged on the ground could be heard miles away.

"Gazimon", Antaimon got upset as her friend continued to get hurt.

"Serene Mists" Antaimon called out as a cloud of mists fogged up Cherrymon and Woodmon's sight of the group. "It won't last, lets leave while the going is good."

Reese thought of it as a good idea her digimon partner gave her and them. "Lets run for it, Now! They're gonna catch up with us soon." She turned to her group. "What are we waiting for? Let's get out of here."

As they bolted, She secretly snuck an apple off of Woodmon's grasp and shouted out. "Later, ugly ones! Don't follow us mates." She smiled os the Woodmon were baffled at such a stunt.

David looked at the confused Woodmon. "I think we need to find a hiding place, maybe there are some caves at the beach or in the cliff, I don't want to be around when that misty thing wears off" He took a look at Gazimon nursing a bruised ear. "I don't think any of us want to end up like Gazimon here."

"Uh-huh, Now lets hide in the beach caves." Reese called out. As they ran out of the forest, she look at David with a dirty smirk as she held up an apple she stole from one of the Woodmons.

"So, Dave which part of England are you from? I'm from London."

"Hey Gazimon, you ok?" Antaimon called out.

Reese turned to see a third girl had followed them to the beach cave. Who is that girl? and why does she have those wierd cat ears on her forehead?

David replied to Reese quietly. "Around Cambridge" He took a look at the apple "Now who is going to eat that apple...that is the question" Gazimon was pulling bandages from his ears and winding them round his legs and forehead dramaticly.

"Terrible Antaimon TERRIBLE" He wailed. David giggled slightly.

"So Gazimon do you have any family?" David asked, Gazimon shook his head solemnly

"I was raised by a group of traveling digimon performers, I was the magician." David nodded sagely and looked for the best and quickest way to grab the stolen apple and stuff it in his mouth.

Reese stared at David who was greedy. "No Dave, I'll split it between you, me, Yuki, Cory, Gazimon and Antaimon." She turned to Yuki. "Do you have any pocket knives so we can split the apple evenly."

"Boy that one sure is quiet. What do you think?"

Antaimon looked up from Gazimon with a questioning look to her tamer. "I was seperated from a group of Patamons and trained by a Gatomon to be slick and fast." Antaimon uses her horn to seperate the Apple pieces into six and Reese distributed the slices to Gazimon and David.

"Hey Cory & Yuki here your apple slices."

David decided to venture a questions about the digiworld. "So Gazimon, are there any humans in this world" He asked. The digimon thought for a while before answering

"Apparently hundreds and hundreds of years ago they were wiped out, but they left artifacts and built gateways to other worlds, but nobody knows where and it is said that many if not all of the portals were one-way travel into the digiworld" Davids heart went cold when Gazimon said one-way travel. The digimon continued blabbering "But that is only from crumbling history books, it is said that in the digiworld only humans can wield the powers created by the artifacts" David tryed to take his mind off the bit about one way gateways to the digiworld and took a look down at the twigs stuck onto his clothes, he also took a look out.

"It is getting dark" He mused "Perhaps we should light a fire to ward animals away, and it wouldn't be bad if somebody went on watch"

Racheal looked about, just beyond a bend in the cave, she heard the voices that were in the woods not too long ago. "Hey, Reganmon, I'm going to sit out near the ocean." She explained as the small gatomon-like creature looked up to her and nodded. "I'll come as well." Before leaing, Regamon took one last look at the cave. Racheal turned, noticing that her partner had stopped. "Come on, we don't want to get too close, not yet!"

Racheal sat down on the tan-white colored sand as she peered out over the glittering ocean, then up at the stars.

"My original offer still stands." Yuki said. "Hey...Who's That? Who's There?"

"I don't know. But you need to eat the apple because we need to get moving tomorrow morning."

She turned to see a girl and her digimon sitting outside on the sand. Reese found ome wood on the ground and brought some in the cave. "Hey David, look at what I found." She pointed to the wood in her arms. "Once we get the fire started, I'll take first watch with Antaimon. Then, I'll wake Yuki up to take the next watch and so forth. Is that ok with y'all?"

"Why do we need to take the first watch anyway?" Antaimon asked her partner.

"I think Yuki and the others need their rest first. Then we can wake one of them up and take over, Antaimon." Reese answered. "I just hope we know what we're doing."

"Ummmm...Miaka i think the digimon is gone now." Monodramon said turning his torward Miaka.

"Ok, then i dont need to go to plan B, anyway come on we better get out of this clearing before it attracts even more evil digimon.'

"I guess you're right...Ok lets go." He said as they both headed into the depths of the forest.

David looked up from his apple when Reese said they needed to be moving tommorow. "Where do we move though? I would rather set off with an idea of where we are going and the thing about this place is that we know nothing about it and besides if we are going to do some traveling shouldn't we see if we should meet up with the other dots first?" He sighed "Everything is so difficult"

"I say we don't go that way..." Yuki replied, pointing at the forest. "We could go along the beach..."

Reese checked her digivice to see an aqua blue dot near the cave. "Hey guys, I got something outside the cave just 3 minutes away."

She checked up on her digimon who was still sleeping. "The forest is a bad idea anyway, I want to go by the beach because there's no Woodmon there."

She turned to Cory. "What do you think?"

MeiMing could hear just barely the padding of feet coming closer as she sat there.

"Who's there?"

Silence.

"OK, then where are we?"

Silence.

"Fine, well thanks whoever you are, for sheltering me while I was here..." She said trying to get up once again.

"What are you doing?" The voice sad emotionlessly, it was hard to tell if i was even real.

"Sit down...You arent in the condition to stand." Even though the sentence was shown with out emotions, you still could tell it was serious.

"Errrr..." Was all she could say.

Finally from out of the shadows came a cat like moster with fangs and 2 sets of wings. One set was a demon's wings and they other set would be found on an angel type. On its face and body had naturally born marks and matching with a pair of cold piercing eyes able to give anyone a nightmare.Its most noticable feature was probably the large crest embeded in the middle of its black chest.
