Taichi Kamiya somehow found himself appointed leader of the digidestined. He's the Guardian of Courage and Koromon/Agumon/Greymon/Wargreymon is his digimon. He's also a year younger than Matt.

He loves soccer.

In season 02 he gives his goggles away to the new kid, Davis.
