SATSUKI'S 2 cents....PAGE 2(list) *SPOILERS!* Okay, this is a war waged by Squee and I on each other. She says Van is better than Dilandau and I say Dilandau is better (of course it doesn't matter but this is entertaining...for us anyway...). Dilandau is arrogant, vain and very much insane (hey! I rhyme! *does little dance*). But hey that's what makes him more interesting and all the cooler! How many guys do you know who were previously girls? ...okay, bad question, please don't answer that... Anyway, instead of comparing Dilly-sama to food like Squee did *makes face at Squee*, I'll reasonably explain why Dilly kicks ass and Van doesn't. (heh heh heh...) Dilandau DOES have a heart and feelings like any other human being, and to some degree he is an okay guy once you get to know him (once you get past his urge to slap you silly). Dilly would kick Van's ass in a fight (outside of the Escaflowne series, if that makes any sense) due to a few major factors: A) Insanity gives him that extra edge, B) Dilandau is Lord of Fire and other weaponrey, and lastly C) Dilandau's just better than Van is *makes more faces at Squee* Who cares if Dilandau is really just a twisted experiemnt of fate that took over the body of a little girl? Van is mean to Folken and that's a sin (in my religion anyway ^_^). More on the Nasty Van... Van's just constantly asking for a beating! Sure, Dilandau may have done a bad thing by burning Fanelia into the ground *sweatdrops*, Dilandau as just doing his job. Also, Van cut up his face. Yes, that lovely-beautiful-bishonen face of his! DIE VAN! Then Van kills all his Slayers when he goes banannas. Van is one of the major causes if not THE cause for finally pushing Dilandau over the edge of sanity (and Dilly was just barely on that edge but that's all the more reason to be nice to him). And, I have to repeat this, Van is so mean to his big brother for pretty much the enitre series (with the exception of the very last episodes maybe) and that is a deadly sin!
