Go to the Star Ocean: The Second Story Guest Chambers!
Digimon
Taichi "Tai" Kamiya
Tai is the leader of the digi-destined. He can be reckless, and has a natural ability to find trouble, but he is incredibly brave, and will stand by his friends no matter what. He's especially protective of his little sister Kari, partly because of an incident where he almost lost her when she was younger. (That was so SAD! *sniff*) He's a born leader, and although he can be a bit dense, he is able to make quick decisions under pressure. Tai is very energetic, and likes taking the initiative. He plays just about any kind of sports he can, "from badminton to baseball", as he said, though soccer's his favorite. He has the Crest of Courage, very fitting for his personality.
My Thoughts: What can I say; I adore Tai! He's my favorite character! He's cute, honest, brave, a good leader, and he cares about his friends. He may jump into things too quickly, and, like I said, be a bit dense, but every character needs to have flaws, so they have room to develop. He's not the least bit self-centered, as I know some people think, but I don't see how they could get that. I think he's a great character! ^_~
Agumon: Tai's faithful digimon. Basically he's a lot like Tai, only more whiney.
Yamato "Matt" Ishida
Matt is considered the "cool" guy of the group. He's a bit of a loner, but later in the series realizes how important friends are. That's why he has the Crest of Friendship. He's pretty level-headed, except when it comes to his little brother TK; he's very protective of him.
My Thoughts: Matt's pretty cool. He's definitely my second fav character, after Tai. I know he's Nexis's favorite, though. He does come off as a bit cold sometimes, especially in the beginning, and I think he likes picking fights with Tai (although Tai does it too). He's a great character, too.
Gabumon: Matt's faithful digimon. Gabumon's pretty mellow and soft-spoken, but he cares a great deal about his partner.
Sora Takenouchi
Sora is a very kind, caring person. She acts as a sort of big sister to everyone, and tries to keep Tai out of trouble (good luck *g*). She's a little too serious for her own good, but with Biyomon's help she's learning to lighten up a bit. Sora has the Crest of Love.
My Thoughts: I like Sora, although Biyomon can be really annoying sometimes. ("Sora's fishing! Sora's fishing!" Need I say more? -_-*) Anyway, I think Sora and Tai like each other. Or at least Sora likes him. I mean, everytime he's in trouble, Sora's always the first to be concerned. There are other signs too; I might put up a seperate page about it later.
Biyomon: Sora's digimon. Sweet (tooth-decayingly so if you ask me) and loyal.
Koushiro "Izzy" Izumi
Izzy is considered the "computer geek" of the group. He is really good with computers, and spends the majority of his free time on his trusy laptop. He loves solving puzzles, but tends to get too absorbed in whatever he's doing. Tentomon's helping him to learn to be a bit more down to earth. Izzy has the Crest of Knowledge.
My Thoughts: Izzy's cool, too. He's closely tied with Matt for my second fav, although Matt comes out just a teeny bit ahead. I really admire intelligence, and he's certainly got a lot of that! ^^
Tentomon: Izzy's digimon. He's the smartest of the digimon, in the same way Izzy's the smartest of the Digi-Destined. I like his sense of humor. : )
Jyou "Joe" Kido
Joe's the responsible one of the group, and also plays peacemaker occasionally. He has the Crest of Reliability ("Old Faithful" *snicker*). He worries too much, but that's more out of a concern for the group than paranoia. He's the oldest of the Digi-Destined.
My Thoughts: Joe's pretty cool, too. (Well, they ALL are, ok? ^^;;) Although he does act like a wuss sometimes, he can be brave if he has to.
Gomamon: Joe's digimon, and my fav of the lot. He's witty, sarcastic, and often the comic relief of the show. Joe's opposite, basically. ^_^
Mimi Tachikawa
At first, Mimi really does act like she thinks she's a princess. Spoiled, whiney, and self-absorbed, but she quickly learns that an attitude like that won't get her anywhere. She's not really selfish, but she is used to getting anything she wants. Palmon helps her learn to care about other people, and not to focus on appearances so much. Mimi holds the Crest of Sincerity.
My Thoughts: *shrug* Mimi's ok. Her attitude improves a LOT over the course of the series. And she's certainly not ashamed to use her "girlish charm", which is pretty amusing, really.
Palmon: Palmon's sweet, caring, and about as dense as a brick. Well, maybe not all the time, but just check out the episode where Mimi thinks she's a princess (see above picture), and you'll see what I mean. *sweatdrop*
Takeru "TK" Takaishi
Matt's little brother. A major cry baby at the beginning, he gradually improves, and even tells Matt that he can take care of himself much later in the series. Innocent, naive, and sweet enough to give you a cavity. He's got a big heart. His is the Crest of Hope.
My Thoughts: TK's...ok, I guess. He used to annoy the heck out of me, but not so much anymore, especially later in the show. I'd even say he's almost cool. I always thought he was just WAY too sickeningly sweet and optomistic, but I'm willing to give him a little more credit now.
Patamon: TK's digimon. Um...well, he's....loyal. Annoys me as much as Biyomon, though. As someone else put it, he's the "Pikachu rip-off from Hell". *lol* He looks like a flying hamster, for crying out loud! Oops...sorry. This wasn't supposed to be a commentary, but oh well. ^^;;
Hikari "Kari" Kamiya
Kari's cute and sweet, and adores her big brother, Tai. The two care a lot about each other. Kari has the Crest of Light, and doesn't really enter the storyline until at least halfway through the first season. She's about the same age as TK.
My Thoughts: Kari's a lot like TK, but somehow she doesn't annoy me nearly as much. She's another one of my favorites, probably just after Matt and Izzy.
Gatomon: Kari's digimon. She's one sassy cat, and stays in her champion form most of the time. (Why? I have no idea.) She started out as a bad guy, but switched sides once she met Kari, her destined partner.
Well, that's it for now! More guests (from other anime series) will probably be coming sometime in the future.
