Chapter 6:Jay: "Calm down Darien! You're not helping any!"
Darien: "Don't you DARE tell ME to CALM DOWN! WHAT
is going on?!"
Michael: "ENOUGH!!"
Jay and Darien stopped their bickering and turned to
Michael, who stood there with an impatient look on his face. Before
Michael could say anything more, the doorbell rang, and Michael being
closest to the door, dropped the phone and sprinted to the door.
Michael: "Oh! Its just you." he said somewhat
disappointed.
Nate: "Gee thanks! We feel so special now!"
Michael: "WE!?"
Zach came into view holding a sleeping Rini in his arms
and said, "See! Told you they'd miss you." Michael, realizing that
Serena was there too, gives her a bear hug, and says, "Don't you know
that you had us worried! The scouts were especially worried! What
do you have to say for yourself?"
Serena: "Why don't you ask YOUR Prince?"
At that
moment all eyes flew from Serena and onto Darien, who stood there
speechless, trying to think of something to say, "Um, . . . well,
. . . you see . . . I, . . . uh, um . . . "
Serena answered for him
by saying, "You were JEALOUS! You thought that using our link to send
me that dream would make everything BETTER!"
All the Generals were
dumbfounded by Serena's words, but then suddenly realization dawned on
them and they realized what she meant. Serena saw the look of
realization on their faces and said, "YOU KNEW! The whole time! Every
time I cried my eyes out, you told me you didn't know! HOW COULD all
of you LIE to ME!"
All of the men looked very ashamed of themselves. She
was right, they had lied to her, even if it was to protect her. Serena
took their silence as acceptance (AN: silence is not acceptance, so
fight back!), and continued her lecture,
"I can't believe this! If I
can't trust you, than WHO can I trust?! This is MY LIFE!! I can do
WHATEVER I please! I don't need YOU to decide for ME!"
Now addressing
Darien, she says, "We could've talked this out. We could've found a
way through this! But, as always, YOU shut me out! How can I go on
like this! We're supposed to share our problems and help each other
out. I don't care what happens to me, as long as we're together. When
we're together, I feel as if, as if, we can do almost anything . . .
Now, now I don't know anymore. You've actually gone and done the
unthinkable . . . "
(AN: what could this unthinkable thing be? this is a great place to end this chapter, but i promised that it would be a long chapter, so don't worry! i'm only playing with you! anyway if you want to find out what she going to say, then i suggest you scroll down and read! sorry, needed a break from the seriousness of the situation).
" . . . you've made me doubt our love."Serena, who was looking down and crying, looked up, yet
still refused to meet his gaze. Darien saw her crystalline tears and
realized how serious she was. He was broken out of his thoughts by
the sound of Serena's low voice, "How can you call ME THAT after all
that you've put me through."
Darien was taken back by her comment, he couldn't
believe that she was saying this, at the same time, he couldn't blame
her . . .
In the Future . . .
Neo-King Endymion watched the whole scene from a portal
at the time gate. He was just as shocked as his younger self. He
never meant to hurt his beloved, he just couldn't live without her
during this long separation. He couldn't believe that he had actually
made her doubt his love for her. How could it be possible? Then, an
idea popped into his head, and he knew exactly what he had to do. He
knew that he didn't have much strength left and that Pluto would be
very angry at him, well, more than angry, she'd probably knock him down
with her time staff (AN: LOL! :) can you imagine that?!) but it would
be worth it (AN: what is he going to do?!) . . .
Back at Darien's Apartment . . .
Darien kept trying to get her to look at him. He
didn't know what to say. Everything was so quiet that you could hear
a pin drop. Then, suddenly, a gust of wind blew into the room and
formed a fog-like atmosphere. The Generals, who were listening from
the closed door, came running out after they heard Serena gasp. The
six of them were greeted by a man. He had dark hair and was wearing a
mask. He wore a purple tuxedo and his hands were gloved in white, and
one of them held a scepter. He looked, one by one, at each of the men,
before his eyes fell upon Serena. He smiled widely when he saw her.
'She looks even more beautiful than I remember . . .
She looks healthy and ALIVE, not pale and sickly . . . " He thought
as he continued giving her an animal-like stare. His eyes couldn't
get enough of her luscious body and delicate curves.
Darien and the Generals stared with awe. All of them
were thinking: 'who is this guy?' When Serena began blushing under
this strange man's gaze, Darien had had enough! 'Who the hell does he
think he is! How DARE HE UNDRESS MY USAKO, right in front of me, no
less! How DARE HE LOOK AT HER LIKE THAT!' (AN: oh no! is our
favorite masked man getting just a tad bit jealous? what will he do?)
he thought as he took two strides forward and pushed Serena behind him
(AN: is that all he's going to do?). Lets just say that Endy
(AN: Endy? i thought it was cute, no?)was not too thrilled by his
younger self's actions.
Darien: "WHO are YOU and WHAT DO YOU WANT?"
"Who do I look like?"
No one expected this response
from him. They all thought he looked vaguely familliar, but didn't
say anything.
Serena, being bold said, "You look like my Mamo-chan."
Endy grinned even more. He hadn't heard her voice in so long, he
answered,
"Darien, I am your future self. I came to let you know that
I was the one who sent you those dreams."
Darien immediately realized
the voice was the same as in the dream and looked like he was going to
kill his future self. None of them could understand why his future
self would do such a thing.
As if reading their thoughts, Endy
continued, "I did it because the future is changing . . . something
happened to my Serenity, your future self, Princess, and I would not
be able to live without her had it not been for yours and Darien's
separation . . . I would've gone insane without her, you . . . This
never meant to hurt you, the way it did. For that, I am truly sorry
. . . I, we, do love you . . . you must never doubt or forget that."
(AN: another good place to leave off, but again, i won't, so don't worry!)
Endy waited for a few moments (AN: why you ask? so that what he said was absorbed by the others. absorbed?) before continuing, "I'll leave you now. I believe that the two of you have some catching up to do." He looked at each one of the Generals once more and noticed that they understood how he felt (AN: had it been one of them, they would've done the same). Endy smiled and looked at his younger self. Darien understood as well, but he wasn't too thrilled about it, yet he moved a little away from Serena, so that Endy could see her (AN: awww! how sweet! i wonder if he'd do that if it was diamond, not endy? hmmm. good question, no?). Endy did not expect this much understanding from his past self, but was nonetheless pleased. He was shocked at first, but then extremely happy. He looked at her longingly and mouted'I love you' to her. He began to leave, but not before disclosing one more piece of information. "She's yours too."Relief washed over Darien as he realized that Rini was
his and Serena's daughter. He turned and began looking at her. They
looked into each others eyes and said nothing. Their eyes revealed
everything that needed to be said: 'sorry' 'i love you' 'missed you'
Darien unconsciously licked his lips. He'd been
waiting so long to taste her lips on his once more. The anticipation
was killing him, as it was Serena as well. Both were oblivious to the
four men who wanted to leave (AN: and should've left), but they needed
to see them kiss, so that they knew everything would be alright again.
The two inched closer and closer to one another.
Darien, being very impatient, couldn't wait. He grabbed Serena by the
waist and brought her closer to him. She gasped in surprise and ended
up hitting his chest, but smiled nonetheless (AN: have you noticed
that i have used that word a lot. i don't know why!). Their faces
began moving closer and closer to each other, as Serena tilted her chin
and snaked her arms around his neck and began playing with his hair.
He in turn ran one hand through her golden, silky hair, while the other
caressed her cheek. The gap between them was almost closed . . .
BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!
(AN: you think that was enough to ruin the moment?! you didn't
actually think that i'd let them kiss yet, now did you?)
The communicators went off. Serena somehow managed to
get away from Darien and get hers. She said, "Moon here."
Ami: "Its good to see you. When we're through with
this youma, you're gonna get a nice long lecture!"
"Sorry. Where are you?"
"We're at the old warehouse. Hurry! We need Sailor
Moon!"
Serena closed the communicator and said, "Duty calls!
We gotta book it!" (AN: of course, darien was upset, to say the
least, but whats a few more hours, right?)
As if on cue, Luna and Artimas show up and say that
they'll watch Rini (AN: forgot about her again, didn't you?), and
that there will be a scout meeting at Darien's later to discuss
information discovered about the Dark Moon (AN: in case you're
wondering, while all this was going on, our two cats were at central
to find out information. what's this information, you ask? well,
we're just going to have to wait and find out).
The Generals, Darien, and Serena transformed and went
on their way to the battle.
good place to end no? anyway, i hope this was long enough for all you people!
