After picking up our luggages at Sydney Airport we waited in the parking lot for our charter buses. I think I had one of the heaviest suitcases out of all the ppl from So Cali x.x and it took me forever just to drag that thing across the parking lot. Showed up pretty late. I tried finding a seat in 3 buses, and all were filled, so I had to sit with people I didn't know, and listen to Paul Bennette talk about his sex life for the rest of the bus ride. We finally got to Manhatten hotel around 12:00. I was starving, tired and really really cranky. I checked in at the front desk, found out Tracy, Steph, and Grace (people I'm rooming with) already took the keys to the room, ran down to B2 (yeah I ended up with a room in the basement x.x) with my luggage, cuz the elevator was packed. Knocked on the door and no one was there. Ran back up to the lobby, looked around, and ran back down to the room and still no one was there. So I sat outside with my suitcase for a while, and everyone shows up laughing and talking, and having a great time!!! >/ Hell was about to break loose! But I kept my composure and grabbed my suitcase and tossed it in the room and watched Paul trip over it, that made me feel a lil better -.-;. I don't think anyone even noticed I was having a bad day x.x.

After all 150 of us checked in, everyone split up into groups and wandered around Sydney for lunch. We stayed at Kings Cross, the ghetto park of Sydney I think o.o, place was packed with Strip bars, prostitutes, and cheap souvenir shops for Tourists. I was hoping for a big meal, after meals on the plane I deserves one >/, but everyone was so freakin cheap we went to Hungry Jacks (Burger King). Their medium size drink is equivalent to our small, and everyone gets 2 packets of ketchup ;.;! I spent the rest of the day gripping bout that meal.

After lunch we got back to the hotel and spent the rest of the day there. It was pretty cool, we knew everyone in the hotel, so we just wander around hallways looking into doors (everyone left their door open). We ended up at Phil's room and watched Rugby on TV. Hehe they (tv) were laughing at American football players for wearing helmets. Everyone got so bored we started playing card games. Went to dinner around 7 at the restaurant in the hotel. Since the hotel was built out of timber, I think some people in the rooms next door were complaining bout us being too loud. We decided to go to our (Tracy, Steph, Grace, me) room in B2. We ended up with around 20 or something people in our room yelling. Grace started talking bout how the room looks haunted and told us stories she heard about hotels and some urban legends, which freaked everyone out, so we begged people to stay in our rooms x.x. They were even scared to take showers, because they have like those old fashion bathtubs in the restrooms like the ones in scary movies -.-;. I thought that was going a bit far. We wemt to sleep early at day cuz we had to wake up 6 the next day! 6 in the morning! I never wake up that early in the states ;.;. Not to mention we were still adjusting to the time.
