Excel Saga is the absolute funniest anime series I've ever been lucky enough to see. Beware... if you even attempt to look for a plot... let's just say interesting things happen to your head. Get a hold of the very first episode and you'll see what I mean.

Excel's got everything from plots to kill all animators to little alien things that have powers because they are "too cute".

It spoofs everything. You'll miss out on lots of jokes if you haven't seen a lot of anime, but it is still worth watching. There's bound to be something you can pick up on (and if you get weird looks, hey... maybe it's just that you see something that no one else does... that's ok... I think. :-P )
