AnimeFest...a simple idea that took on a life of it's own. It really started when I kept inviting people over to watch my anime tapes, and then it grew into a mini-tradition of continuing series and starting new ones each time they came over. Eventaully, I decided to have a Halloween party with a theme of animation, and since only my anime friends wanted to show up, it became the first ever AnimeFest. So far, we've held 2 and are planning the second AnimeFest 2001 (it has to be biannually in order for us to watch all the anime we own before all of us have graduated), and we fully intend to keep this going even when we're all in college, no matter how hard it is to get together to do so.
