The Ohio State Buckeyes are a very powerful team in the Big-Ten Conference. In their 118-year history, the Buckeyes have been consensus national champions seven times. On September 6, 2008, the Buckeyes defeated the Ohio Bobcats, 26–14, for their 800th win, becoming the fifth FBS team to reach this amount of wins. They have won 7 National Championships, 37 Big-Ten CHampionships, 42 bowl appearances, and have 9 undefeated seasons. Jim Tressel has been their head coach since 2001. Tressel and the Buckeyes will face off against the Arkansas Razorbacks in the Sugar bowl this year on January 4th at 8:30 pm.
