Introduction
Elemntria
|
Chapter 1----“Two thousand years ago, the Empire of Elemntria, the Land of Light, belonged to the planet Centauri. The Empire, ruled by the Emperor Drekon and the Empress Solaris, were all laws and business of state was controlled. The Territories of Crystria, the sister land of Elemntria and the Land of Darkness was a peaceful place for one to raise a family. Here no political strife happened because it was under the rule of Elemntria. ----“The final land which lay within the boundaries of Elemntria was the Gates of Elements. Although it was a small island attached to the Elemntrian Empire, it was not ruled by the Emperor and Empress. This was because all the Great Gods and Goddesses lived there, and was ruled by Aurora, Goddess of Light, and Nyx, Goddess of Darkness. ----“During a time of great prosperity, and close to the end of the Emperor Drekon’s rule, the Goddesses of Light and Darkness began to argue. Their arguments became war between the elements of Fir and Air, and Earth and Water. ----“While this was going on, the Empire of Elemntria was having a problem of its own. The Emperor Drekon has passed to the Lands of Hell, and left no decision to his heir. Prince Seton, a cruel man who cared not for the people but his own selfish desire, or Prince Damon, a man who cared about how the state was run but cared more for the peoples well being. ----“Seton demanded the throne be given to him, but Damon would not allow it, for it would bring about the downfall of the Empire and its governed states. A civil war broke out between the brothers and brought ashes to the fields of Crystria. The Gods of Elements pleaded to the High Goddesses to help the human war and each Goddess made a weapon. Aurora created a blade of light calling it Trinium, and she gave it to Prince Damon. While Nyx, poured her hatred towards her sister into the Staff of Darkness and called it Nightcythe. Only a person who can wield this staff must have enough hared and thus gave it to Prince Seton. ----“With weapons of the Goddesses, their battle left most of Crystria in ruins, till the battle finally stopped at the Gates of Elements. Both Seton and Damon were tired from the battle, they were scarred and carried the blood of million of people, made a final charge at each other. When their weapons clashed, the energy destroyed them both. The only weapon that remained on the battlefield was the Staff of Darkness, Nightcythe.” ----In the background the sound of a bell rang. “Well children that wraps up history for this week,” Trisha closed the book. “And do not forget, no school on Day 1, 6 weeks till Samhain, it is a holiday after all.” ----“But Mrs. Trisha, you never finished. Can you at least tell us what happened,” a student raised his hand and yelled. ----“Jace, it can wait till after the long weekend. Besides you will hear all about it tomorrow at the ceremonies. The ancient one love to tell stories to everyone about the past.” She opened the door, “Now out!” ----“But…” ----“No Jace,” he was not allowed to finish his sentence. “Go home. Take a break from learning for once.” He stood up from his chair and ran out the door. “And no running,” it was too late he was already out the second door. ----“You could have at least finished you know,” a voice said from the shadows, “it is not like you are getting any older.” ----“And I am not getting any younger either, Tsurinichi,” Trisha closed the door. “You really like standing over there during my lessons, don’t you.” She walked behind her desk and started putting away the books from her previous lessons. ----“I only stand here during history class,” she emerged from the shadows. She was a young girl dress completely in brown, to match her long, dark brown hair. “Besides, you have always brought a light to history that the past teachers have failed to bring. I enjoy listening to your class.” ----“Well you should know the history of Elemntria very well. You after all are in it, Empress,” Trisha could not help but laugh under her breath. Tsurinichi looked down, and Trisha realized her mistake. “I am sorry Tsurinichi. I did not mean to open old wounds.” ----Tsurinichi looked over to her and smiled. “It is okay. It is not easy being immortal and having to rule a land that was separated from the real world.” She walked over to the window seeing the last of the children leave. “It is so sad that these children will never see the real world. Yet it seems like we are already there.” ----Trisha walked over to the window and looked at the sky. She smiled as the twin suns set into the West. But beyond that there was nothingness. “So what is this year celebration going to be like? I heard rumors of something different.” ----“I would have no clue. Aurora and Nyx kicked me out of the palace for the day,” Tsurinichi turned to Trisha and grabbed her hands. “Is there any way I can spend the evening with you and Daken. I hate staying at Inns.” ----“What about Drakon and the other?” Trisha looked puzzled at Tsurinichi. Why would she not spend the evening with the Element Dragons? ----Tsurinichi let g of Trisha’s hands. “Drakon went to Fire Mountain to see his father, the King of all Dragons. Siren is over at Luminant Lake to look in on his family; Emerwing is singing with faeries and visiting her mother. Stormight and Shadon, I would have no clue where those two went off to. They all left me alone,” Tsurinichi pouted. ----“Looks like the Goddesses told the dragons something and they are staying away just incase they accidentally open their mouths,” they both laughed at the thought of it. Trisha then let in, “Fine you can spend the night with us. Hopefully you do not get bored of theories and scientific experiments.” ----“Thank you so much, Trisha.” Tsurinichi hugged Trisha. ----“Your welcome Tsurinichi, but can you act more like an Empress than a twelve year old child.” Trisha was accustomed to Tsurinichi acting this way, but she always felt that she should act more to her position. ----“Ever since you known me, how many times have I acted like an Empress?” Tsurinichi backed away from Trisha. She then smiled, “Let alone my own age!” She then ran over to the door. “I will see you tonight; I have to pick up some things.” She closes the door behind her. ----Trisha shook her head. “Almost 2000 years old and she still acts like a normal 12 year old.” She went and placed the last book in her bag and left the room.

I mean, she should be aloud to do as she sees fit. We should not bring her into a conflict that does not concern the Empire or the Empress.” ----“My dear sister,” Aurora turned to Nyx keeping her broom still, “we have been over this a hundred times or more. The Prophecy has come true and her mother was forewarned of this. We need her to return to Crystria and sort out this problem.” Aurora then walked over to her sister, “This is also not only our problem. It involves everyone, including in Elemntria.” She placed her hand on Nyx’s shoulder. ----“But why must we bring her into this conflict. Why don’t we…” ----Aurora raised her hand to silence her sister. “We are not aloud to return, yet the Empress is. With all the problems happening in Crystria we would be powerless. Allow her to use her skills of diplomacy to bring Crystria to its normal state and her dept repaid.” Aurora then walked over to the Western window of the throne room, “Anyway this will allow her to see the country she would have rules, if it were not for our and the human war.” ----“I guess you are right,” Nyx turned to the throne, “but I still do not want to get her involved.” ----“I know. I do not want to get her involved either, but it must be done.” Aurora looked at the setting suns. She turned back to her sister, “At least she will have the dragons with her, not to mention Trisha and Daken as well. She will return to rule once more.” ----“Okay that is good news, but one more thing.” Nyx looked concern, “How will brother react to this?” ----Aurora looked down. “I do not know. I just do not know,” she looked at the setting suns again. The glimmering sun brought colors of gold and red to the sky. “I just hope he reacts in no way and allows her to do her business.” |
