"Transfiguration is perhaps the most complex subject learnt here at Hogwarts. Of course, it is one of the most interesting and useful as well. However, it is very dangerous and any messing around will be fatal to your house points. Note-taking is compulsory."

"Each of you will be given a match. You are supposed to turn it into a needle. Concentrate on the match and imagine it as a needle instead. Point your wand at the match. Try hard and concentrate. Let me show you."

Professor Nicaree points her wand at the table and a match appears. She flicks her wand to Levitate it. Then, she points her wand at it again. A moment later, it was a needle.

Then, Professor Nicaree flicked her wand at her needle and it disappeared. She flicked her wand again and every student was suddenly holding a match.

"Your turn."

After many mishaps (transfiguring the match into a rabbit for example) and many tries, the students showed Professor Nicaree their silver needles. She beamed at everyone and allowed them to keep their needle.

"For homework, I want all of you to write an essay. Refer to your book for help."

"That will be your topic. Please hand it up as fast as possible. The essay will be awarded about 15 points and I'll add another 5 for those who hand it up. That 5 points will be for sucessfully transfiguring. Class dismissed!"
