Magical Creatures
Teacher: Professor Cemtir Galkeom (or Cemtir)
Books Used: Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them
"I'm Cemtir, your class teacher. I expect all of you have a copy of the books needed? I see that everyone is here," a tall and lean man in front of the class says. "There will be a lot of practical work in this class but you will meet in this classroom for the lesson because we also have written work."
"If you refer to your book, you will see all sorts of stuff before the list of beasts. They are very interesting. However, for your first year, we are concentrating on the beasts themselves. Next year we will take a look at the reasons why Muggles don't notice these beasts and what beasts are."
"For the first term, we will be taking a look at the beasts which are not so harmful. You can read up on what we will study in your book. The ratings of these animals will be XXX, XX or X only. All beasts studied this term can be found in your book. We will go by alpha order."
"Today, we are going to learn about the Ashwinder. I'll be bringing one along for the next lesson so mind you bring along your protective gloves. I'll give you some time to read about the Ashwinder."

"Well, you have your notes in the book. I want you to copy some notes down now. The book has a pretty thorough explanation but these notes answer some questions which can be given on the Ashwinder."
***
"That will probably answer most of the questions on the Ashwinder. All you have to do is really study on the Ashwinder. You can refer to other books as well, of course."
"For homework, please write a detailed essay on the Ashwinder for me. About 1/4 to 1/2 a metre of parchment should do. Include the features, breeding, habitat and its way of life. 10 points for a correct essay and an extra 5 if your language is good. Another extra 5 if there are no mistakes at all."
"You have the notes and you can infer from the text as well."
"Before I release you, let me remind you to bring your gloves next lesson!"
