Graduating with style from the Rookie Roster thanks to his selfless performances in the early 2006 series of friendlies, Simon's willingness to throw himself in at the deep end and try his hand at anything marks him out as a potential rising star on the squad.

Scored the first Aardvarx goal in an EIHA sanctioned game in the away fixture against Sheffield Ice Tigers on July 9th 2006.
