
The Altrincham Aardvarx Ice Hockey Club is a registered EIHA recreational ice hockey (Reg. No. 212)
The Altrincham Aardvarx Ice Hockey Club is a non-profit organisation, staffed by volunteers.
The Aardvarx has a seven person Committee, whose role is to oversee the development and running of the club, and to devise and implement the guidelines and regulations of the club. The Committee currently consists of the following members:

(Gord Turner served as Committee member until March 2006, Rick Mann served until August 2007, Steve Polkinghorne and Ian Merrick served until February 2008, Adam McArdle served until May 2008, and Richard Allan served until Sept 2008.)
Appointment to the Committee is via proposal and approval by the Committee and is not subject to election or any fixed term of service.
Feedback, suggestions and opinions from all Aardvarx players are welcomed and accepted for consideration, and any player who wishes to talk to any member of the Committee should feel free to do so, subject to the availability of the relevant Committee member and the deciding of a mutually convenient time.

Along with Steve Polkinghorne, our Child Protection Officer attended and passed the Sports Coach UK "Good Practice And Child Protection" course, a course recognised by the EIHA.
