Russ was thrown in at the deep end with the Aardvarx, taking to the ice against the Flinshire Phantoms only a couple of weeks after taking up ice hockey, and he performed admirably. A determined defenceman, Russ has shown leaps and bounds in his progress, and his positional awareness is getting stronger and stronger.
