Now retired from the Aardvarx in order to focus on his playing career with the Blackburn Falcons, Gord's input into the Aardvarx has been great in quantity and quality, and he will be missed on the Aardvarx ice.
A solid defenceman, Gord's ability to read a play and adjust his positioning accordingly made him one of the team's key blue-liners.
Blue-liner is an apt desciption of Gord in so many ways. Two of the words most often used to describe Gord's on-ice language are "loud" and "colourful". Two of the words most often used by Gord on the ice are "****" and of course "****". Oh, and he uses "****" a lot too. Better known as Damage, Gord once listed his reasons for playing hockey as "Fame, Fortune and Puckbunnies"...
