Without Duncan, there would have been no Aardvarx. Duncan was the man who set the whole thing in motion and steered the team from the first days at Altrincham through to the modern era at Blackburn, taking on board all the responsibility and accepting none of the glory. So many players owe a debt of gratitude to Duncan for all the hard work he thanklessly put into the team. Duncan retired from the Aardvarx in December 2004.
