Dean made an impact on his competitive debut, scoring in both legs of the July 2005 double-header against Flintshire Phantoms. A speedy player, Dean's stickhandling and pace make him an impact forward, and with further work on passing and line-play strategies, Dean's future in hockey looks bright.
