         
| Travel season in Egypt runs from mid October to May. But after May the rest of the year it is fairly hot, specially at Luxor and going south, yet the best thing about the heat, is that is a dry heat. On the other hand there is plenty of room everywhere at this time of the year. Except some certain Cairo hotels which fill up with Arab visitors at summer rather than to put up with a hotter weather their countries. Advance booking are rarely required and a variety of discounts are offered as incentives to brave the heat. Temperatures during the summer time is fairly high ,but yet summer offers a time to see Egypt in relative peace and quite, as it is an advantage to see the tourist sites without hassle from the little school children or from the crowds of tourists. A very good time to visit Egypt is during the spring time. During spring the weather is fairly moderate, but avoid the khamasin or sand storm season that runs from mid March for all-out April and thereabouts.
