Requirements

So what do you need in order to create your own webpages? To begin using HTML, you will need to have a few things.

1. You will need to have a computer.

2. You will need a text editor. If you have windows, you can use Notepad. In Windows Notepad can be found under Start > Programs > Accessories.

3. You will need a web browser of your choice. You can use the latest version of Netscape Navigator or Microsoft Internet Explorer.

4. You will need a place to save your work. You can save your webpages on your hard drive, a floppy disk or CD-ROM.

Once you have the above materials, you can begin creating your own webpages with HTML.
