 Spyro

"I'm ready when you are!"

Hello, and welcome to my Spyro 3 walkthrough page!

This game is fairly simple, so this is the only section for it.

Please remember, I copyright everything in here. Don't steal!

Also, note that this walkthrough is for the US version only.

Lastly, I hope you enjoy this game as much as I do!
Okay, let's begin:

Spyro 3: Year of the Dragon is about a courageous dragon that must rescue all the stolen dragon eggs with the aid of his friends. An evil sorceress plans to use the dragon hatchlings' wings for a potion to let her live forever, which, of course, no one wants.

The Characters

Spyro: The main character. Purple and cold-blooded, he is very small compared to the other dragons. Likes to breath fire and hit people with his horns. If you ever need a daring hero, he's the...uh...dragon.

Sparx: The second main character, and also my favorite as you can sort of tell by the link in this site. His origins are unknown, and it is believed that Sparx has magic inside him. When he is gold he can take three hits for Spyro, two when he's blue, and one when he's green. To give him life and a snack, feed him butterflies from random creatures (ie- sheep). Can also help collect gems. Always follows Spyro.

Zoe: A fairy that gives you advice. also serves as a checkpoint when zapped by her wand. You will see her several times in the game, usually three to six times in a portal. Listen to what she says, unless you know what you're doing.

Hunter: A cheetah that likes to stand on two feet instead of four. For the most part Hunter is scared to do much, but asks Spyro to do tasks for him. If you ever see him in the game, talk to him. He usually has a task for you that will lead to a dragon egg. He also looks really cute in those pants he wears when skateboarding!

Moneybags: A fat bear in a tux with a bag of gems. If you ever see him then be warned that he is usually unavoidable. Never be too shy when collecting gems--Moneybags (somewhat politely) asks you to cough them up, and at times he can name his price. He usually asks for about 300-1,000 gems. When I confront him I usually say no at first to see his reaction, then say yes, hehe.

Rhynocs: The main bad guys in this game. Don't worry--these rhyno-looking things are laughable. They can easily be beaten by a quick charge or torch. The Rhynocs are the Sorceress's "expertly trained army," so take care of those guys by putting them out of their misery.

Bianca: A female bunny that is oddly as tall as Hunter. Is the leader of the "Dragon Egg Stealing" operation. Acts tough, but is really unsure of herself and her amateur magic. Bad guy or good?

The Sorceress: The ruler of the land. She is like a mixture between a crocodile and a dinosaur with make-up. Often makes deals with Moneybags, the double-crosser. Eventually you have to confront her. She is very fond of dragon eggs. You must stop her!

Sheila: A kangaroo with powerful feet. Probably the only one in the world that lives with goats in mountains. To free her from the Sorceress you must pay Moneybags, followed by a video clip. A playable character.

James Byrd: A flying penguin. In my opinion, I'd say he's the strongest of the creatures you can play, mainly because he can fly anywhere and has unlimited rocket launchers. Too bad you don't see much of him. You must also pay Moneybags to free him, with another video clip.

Bentley: A yeti with a large vocabulary. he can't do much, just smash things. Bentley also has a cute younger brother that frequently needs his help. Bentley excels in strength but lack nimbleness, therefore he doesn't walk very fast (ANNOYING!) and can't jump very high. Moneybags will make you pay 1,200 gems to free him, so collect as many as you can.

Agent 9: A monkey with bad fashion sense. The only thing that he can do is shoot lasers from a laser gun. He can also pickup things and shoot them. He is extremely hyper and gullible. Agent 9 has also been caught by the Sorceress and Moneybags will charge you.

The Sheep: The sheep contain butterflies for Sparx. They are the archenemies of Spyro and wreak havoc by abducting eggs with saucers. Give 'em a good torch for me.

The Items

Dragon Eggs: Each one contains magical elements. They are hard to miss--the eggs are speckled with a grayish color. Every time you find one the dragon hatchling inside it comes out and does something. They are automatically named and transferred to the Dragon World.

Gems: The currency that Moneybags loves so much. A magenta gem is worth, a yellow gem is 10, a purple gem is 5, a green gem is 2, and a red gem is the lowest, worth 1. Gems can be scattered randomly or they could be in a container of some sort, usually baskets or vases.

Skill Points: When you earn a skill point, an extra life will appear and be acquired. Look in the back of the book to see which ones you've missed or gotten. Skill points will build up an epilogue later on. You earn one by doing random things, some hard to do and some not so hard. You don't need to talk to anyone to earn a skill point. Here is the complete list for all the skill points:

Sunrise Springs

Sunrise Springs: Alrighty, you just saw the clip and it's time for Spyro to start out on another adventure once again. This place is pretty peaceful, especially because, you know, it's the first place in the game.

    A. Egg By the Stream: (Isabelle) This one is a no-brainer. Just head left (from where you were first brought to) and collect it.

    B. Learn Gliding: (Coltrane) Go pass the red tree and Moneybags. You should see Hunter on the top of dirt stairs. Talk to him and do what he says. This jumping exercise is good practice

    C. Fly Through The Cove: (Ami) After you get the egg from Hunter, go past him and jump down to see Zoe and a superfly charge-up in a cavern. Use the superfly to reach the other end of the cavern and through the hole in the ceiling.

    D. Bottom Of The Lake: (Bruce) Go past the six set of trees and you should see a huge lake. talk to Hunter and dive down to get it.

    E. Head Bash The Rock: (Liam) Walk to the place where the sheep are 'frolicking.' You should see a boulder with cracks in it. Headbash it to reveal the egg (how did it get in there????).

Sunny Villa: A Roman Town with chickens, wusses, and scaredy-cats. The chickens are, literally, chickens. The wusses are the Rhynocs, because all but the bigger ones cower before you. However, they sure picked an easy place to terrorize--the scaredy-cats are the lions, the citizens of the town. Clear out the Rhynocs so the chickens will be able to rest.

    A. Rescue The Mayor: (Sanders) Simply finish the level (follow the path, it's pretty self-explanatory).

    B. Egg By The Building: (Vanessa) Follow the stone path until you see an egg. You can't miss it.

    C. Lizard Skating I: (Emily) Find the only swirling portal and talk to Hunter. I really can't give you much advice on this except to do your best and keep practicing.

    D. Lizard Skating II: (Daisy) After completing 'C' talk to Hunter again. He'll give you another skateboarding task that is more challenging.

    E. Hop to Rapunzel: (Lucy) After freeing Sheila in Sunrise Springs for 300 gems and defeating her home world, glide to her portal and 'kick' those Rhynocs out.

    F. Glide To The Stream: (Miles) Use the whirlwind and glide on top of the column. Glide to the second one and you should see the egg.

Cloud Spires: Did you know clouds are created by little creatures with spikes on their heads? Welcome to Cloud Spires, home of the sun seeds. Help the little guys, with names that are types of clouds, restore their cloud generator.

    A. Turn On The Cloud Generator: (Henry) As it turns out, the egg was clogging up the generator. Push the red buttons on the sides of the buildings so the lifts will work. At one point Moneybags will ask you for 200 gems so you can go through. There is no other way to go, so do as he wishes to pass.

    B. Run Along The Wall: (Stephanie) After you use the whirlwind at the end of the level, defeat the flying Rhynoc to uncover the egg.

    C. Plant The Sun Seeds: (LuLu) It's harder than it looks. Go to the swirling portal where you must put 3 sun seeds into the lava fusion machine to create a sun. Timing is everything. Charge whenever you can!

    D. Bell Tower Spirits: (Jake) Use the whirlwind next to the portal to fly into this room. Flame the demons with the flying power-up. It would be easier if they didn't move around. Just keep your eye on them.

    E. Bell Tower Thief: (Bryan) The first 'nyah nyah' guy in the game! If you enjoy chasing them, great! You'll see plenty more. If not, you miss out on eggs. Anyways, look around in the same room for a bit until you find a blue guy running around. Catch up to him and receive the egg.

    F. Glider To The Island: (Clare) Go to where you talked to Moneybags. Fall down and face the steps. Climb them and go left. You should see a whirlwind. Defeat the rhynocs up there and gradually make your way up to the egg.

***Missing Treasure***: If you're missing any treasure, them you might be missing what I'm going to tell you. Go to the first 'red' room you entered, facing a way so the level's exit is on the left side. Now turn around. You should see a ledge sticking out with some treasure. If that's not it, maybe you should go to the room with the sun seeds. Stop right after the first flight of stairs and before the column. Turn to see a basket.

Molten Crater: To get inside you need 10 eggs total. After you get them you may proceed. The tiki statues (???) have short arms and never close their mouths, literally. When necessary they can unscrew their heads. The Rhynocs in this level have ridiculous clothes on. So pretend you're a fashion police officer and arrest them for disturbing the peace and wearing no shoes.

    A. Get To The Tiki Lodge: (Curlie) Find the Tiki Lodge guy (Rocky) by following the path. Don't let those pigs get in the way.

    B. Egg By Lava River: (Rikki) Go past the first bridge, over the gap, and past the lava slug to find it.

    C. Replace Idol Heads: (Ryan) For some reason the Tiki members enjoy hiding their heads and trying to find them. Anyways, you'll need Sgt. Byrd for this one. Locate each head through the caverns and return them by dropping them on the owner's bodies.

    D. Catch The Thief: (Moira) After handing over 300 gems to Moneybags, go through the swirling portal and catch, you guess it, a 'nyah nyah' guy. This time he's a greenish-yellow. Chase him to receive the egg.

    E. Supercharge After The Thief: (Kermitt) You have to chase a red one with double the speed this time. Don't break the controller if you're breathing down his neck and fall off. It happens to me too!

    F. Sgt. Byrd Blows Up A Wall: (Luna) You'll need to be Sgt. Byrd again. Look for an 'X' in the wall in the main room. It will not be a clean cut one. Blast the crack or 'X' to find an egg waiting.

Seashell Shores: If you have collected 14 eggs, then you may enter this portal. This place is mostly water, so practice swimming at the lake before entering. I found it odd that there were ducks swimming under there with only an air bubble around their heads for oxygen.

    A. Free The Seals: (Dizzy) To free the seals, go through all the plastered doors until you get to a room with an octopus grasping a seal. Charge him to drop the key.

    B. Under The Docks: (Jason) Go to the first bridge and dive under it to capture this egg.

    C. Clear Out The Pipe: (Duke) Go to the lake with octopuses at the end of the level. Enter the swirling portal and get ready for some under water charging! It really isn't that hard, compared to what's ahead.

    D. Defeat The Shark Sub: (Jackie) I usually lose most of my life with this egg. Swim to the top of the lake and surface. Collect the treasure where you will be facing a shark/submarine. Don't forget, square to charge!

    E. Destroy The Sand Castle: (Mollie) This one was very hard and it took me several attempts. Go to the swirling portal with a 'Sheila' picture and super smash the turrets for an egg.

    F. Hop To The Secret Cave: (Jared) As Sheila, go past the water and hop to the alcove on the stone wall to discover it.

Sheila's Alp: To enter her portal, you must free her for 300 gems. You will discover that for some reason Spyro cannot enter her home world. Help the goats get ride of the Rhynocs and take back what they have captured. Have fun!

    A. Help Bobby Get Home: (Nan) Simply follow the goats and complete their tasks. For Bobby you must smash the Rhynoc's huts and kick every rhynoc out.

    B. Help Pete Get Home: (Jenny) Kick the rhynoc and mouse out of the way and smash the boulder to lead Pete to his house. For your efforts you will receive an egg.

    C. Help Billy Get Home: (Ruby)
The stupid goats are pulling their goatees...doesn't that hurt? At the very start of the level, super jump to his house where an egg will be presented.

Mushroom Speedway: Sparx can talk! Not normally, of course, but nonetheless...the speedways are totally composed of flying, so practice beforehand. Now, it's time to get started.

    A. Time Attack: (Sabina) Flame all of the creatures. Pretty self-explanatory.

    B. Race The Butterflies: (John) For some reason, whenever I race them I lose the 1st time but win the 2nd time. Be sure to fly through the blue stars for an extra boost!

    C. Hunter's Dog Fight: (Tater) Hunter is located in the fattest mushroom. Complete his task and receive an egg.

Buzz's Dungeon: (Grayson) Sheila helps you out with him. Buzz is definitely the easiest boss, and if you have trouble with him, I mean serious trouble, you're not going to last very long in this game. Just charge into him, avoid the flames, and let Sheila take over.

Midday Gardens

Midday Gardens: Well here we are in another world. The challenges heat up in this world, but for the most part still don't pose a great problem. There's plenty to do in here.

    A. Underwater Egg: (Dave) Jump in the first body of water you see and find the egg. You can't miss it!

    B. Secret Ice Cave: (Mingus) Go right to the blue colored cave. Skate left in a small room for the egg.

    C. Catch the Thief: (Trixie) Here we go again! To catch him, don't go too far off the path, otherwise he'll turn around and go the other way.

    D. Superflame The Flowerpots: (Matt) This would be your first experience with superflame. It's uh...awesomely powerful! Even enemies with metal cannot withstand superflame. Try using it to break the flowerpots and the sealed treasure chest further back.

    E. Climb To The Ledge: (Modesty) The ledge is too high to jump to, so use the ladder. For more information, talk to Hunter at one of the portals. He'll explain how to use the ladder.

Icy Peak: A winter wonderland. The five residents? Bob, Doug, Nancy, Moneybags, and 'nyah nyah' thieves. Bob can't aim a cannon for anything, so help him out. Skate your way to the end of the level. Remember: you cannot charge while skating.

    A. Find Doug The Polar Bear: (Chet) If you find the guys that have TNT and laugh hysterically-annoying, then take one step of the ice. They will skate forward you, or at least one at a time. Step back on the snow and back away so they will crash into the ice. You will get the last laugh!

    B. On Top Of A Ledge: (Maynard) Turn around after skating on the big ice patch. You should see some steps on the mountain. Follow the path and you should come to it.

    C. Protect Nancy The Skater: (Lenny) Pay Moneybags 500 gems to enter the swirling portal. Nancy needs help teaching rhynocs some manners. The trick is to stay as close to her as possible.

    D. Speedy Thieves I: (Betty) Go to where Doug was and climb down the steep steps to the swirling portal. Then chase the yellow thief on your right for an egg.

    E. Speedy Thieves II: (Scout) After you defeat the first and easier thief, another will appear. He is much faster and is trickier. Be warned: his path will never be the same twice.

    F. Glide To The Sky Island: (Reez) Go the opposite way you came for the thieves once out of their portal and glide to the whirlwind. It will take you to another which will eventually take you to the island with the egg.

***Missing Treasure***: A lot of the treasure I missed was in the thief area. First off, go in the tunnel section to discover a sealed treasure chest with glass. Break the glass and chest by charging them. Secondly, go right twice. When you see the third intersection, stop, look directly to your left to see treasure and a whirlwind. Go to the whirlwind to find more. Okay, now after exiting that area, go to the ice patch with a crack in it. You'll know it when you see it. Staying on the stones, and this is very important, glide to and over the crack (DON'T STOP), hover over it, and headbash the ice. It will break open to reveal treasure.

Enchanted Towers: They story of this place is unknown, and it seems that the people who live here despise the Sorceress but are forced to work for her. The Rhynocs in this level are laughable enough, but be careful of the flying toads.

    A. Destroy The Sorceress Statue: (Peanut) The statue is very realistic looking. Flame all of the rockets to watch a cool fireworks display (pfft, not really....heh).

    B. Glide To The Small Island: (Gladys) You simply can't miss this one. Glide to the second tower (by now you should begin to realize why they call it 'Enchanted Towers'). From there you should already see the egg. Glide to the small island to receive it.

    C. Trick Skater I: (Caroline) Jump down in the hole where the statue was and go through the portal. Talk to Hunter and do his tasks. After awhile it get really easy.

    D. Trick Skater II: (Alex) REally, it does get easier to do with practice. I remember when I first learned the tricks, I couldn't even manage a single front flip without wiping out. Now I beat it every time. By the way, I recommend doing lots of twisted lemons and limes for an easy high score.

    E. Rescue The Lost Wolf: (Ralph) To collect this egg, you must have Sgt. Byrd. The lizards with the bones are in various towers. Collect all eight and watch the skeleton dance happily.

Spooky Swamp: This is a place infested with bugs and piranhas, so never go in the water. The piranhas will attack you almost immediately. Help the fireflies light the lamps and improve their haiku (a haiku is a Japanese poem with five syllables on the first line, seven on the second, and five on the third).

    A. Find Shiny The Firefly: (Thelonious) If you stop where two gators are on the bridge and if you don't disturb them, they will continuously bite each other. Why!? Anyways, just follow the path, an easy egg.

    B. Jump To The Island: (Michael) At the second incomplete bridge you will find the island and egg to your left.

    C. Escort The Twins I & II: (Peggy & Michele) I think that these guys are very cute. There is not much difference between the two twins in completing the task. It is harder than it looks! Here's a hint: Neither one of them accidentally bumps into the super-tall mushroom at the end.

    D. See Above.

    E. Defeat Sleepy Head: (Herbi) To obtain access you must light lamps and in the process pay Moneybags 500 gems. He is like a mini-boss and is not that hard to beat. Kill the crocs he sends after you and take careful aim and charge his bombs into him.

    F. Across The Treetops: (Frank) Climb the last ladder to the lamp and glide to the one directly across from that. You should see a walkable tree to your right. There will be three trees--one for the egg, one with the key, and one with a gem.

***Missing Treasure***: Got to the Sheila Portal and enter. Then hop to the place where the eggs were held. Among the outer wall or 'treewall' is a smooth spot. This is breakable with a kick to reveal a magenta gem.

Bamboo Terrace: These pandas are so cute!!! And all they want is to work in bamboo fields, but can't because of the stupid Rhynocs, who look extremely stupid in a kimono. The pandas will help you out at various times.

    A. Clear The Panda's Path: (Tom) Suddenly, one of the pandas remembers the emergency pathway! NOW he thinks of it! Geez!

    B. Glide To The Small Island: (Dwight) After you help the pandas move the boulder, go to your left and glide to the island to find it.

    C. Glide To The Hidden Cave: (Madison) After you find the egg above, go behind the farthest hut and climb the steps, then glide to the alcove just ahead. Kinda hard.

    D. Smash The Mountain Top: (Brubeck) You need Bentley for this one. Take a walk up the mountain to get the egg.

    E. Shoot From The Boat: (Rusty) I would say this is one of the hardest eggs to achieve in Midday Gardens. It requires patience, accuracy, and precision. This one will take time!

    F. Catch The Thief: (Pee-wee) This 'nyah nyah' blue thief is probably the fastest of them all. You will have to do at least two laps around before you can catch him and the egg.

Sgt. Byrd's Base: Sgt. Byrd is very quick and to the point. Remember, to free him you'll need 1000 gems. Apparently there's a war going on and we're stuck in the middle. I just love this world's tune!

    A. Clear The Building: (RyanLee) The hummingbird is evidentially too scared to take on the Rhynoc army alone. Accompany the soldier throughout this world.

    B. Clear The Caves: (Sigfried) This egg serves as a sort of check-point or halfway mark. Keep it up!

    C. Rescue 5 hummingbirds: (Ray) The humming birds are held captive in cages. The fifth one will give you an egg. If you can't find the last one, then take a bomb and drop it on the sealed chests in one of the rooms. This creates a hole in the ground where you will find it.

Country Speedway: This speedway is easy after a while. I like the country simplicity of it. But above all, don't be fooled by the cows!

    A. Time Attack: (Gavin) The bi-plane part is definitely the hardest. You can do a quick charge when going through the barn window.

    B. Race The Pigs: (Shemp) For the first five planes, it's like they avoid blue stars on purpose or something. Don't worry about them and stay on task, and the egg will be yours.

    C. Hunter's Rescue Mission: (Roberto) I think it's hilarious, the way they included the pointless sheep saucers in this game. Hunter is found in the big barn for this mission.

Spike's Arena: (Monique) Spike is probably the second hardest boss. Deflect the rocks, avoid Spike and his energy bombs, and get the stuff Sgt. Byrd drops for a victory.

Evening Lake

Evening Lake: Hehe, this is one of my favorite places. Almost the whole level is one big lake. Have fun swimming around!

    A. Glide To The Tower: (Hannah) Go up the ladder and glide to the tower on the other side (your left).

    B. I'm Invincible!: (Stuart) Go to the other side of the lake where the frogs are hopping. Climb up the steps and talk to Zoe. Get the powerup to glide to the egg.

    C. On The Bridge: (Ted) After that, glide to the patch of grass with more frogs. Climb the ladder and turn right to get it.

    D. Break The Tower Wall: (Stooby) Go under water. Across from the 'Lost Fleet' portal is a wall that is lighter colored. It is breakable. Charge into it to get the egg inside.

    E. Belly Of A Whale: (Jonah) This is definitely my favorite egg to get. You should see a whale swimming under water. Swim near its mouth. It will eat you. Inside its...stomach? mouth?...is an egg. It will then spit you out. You cannot go back inside.

Frozen Alters: Brrr! This place must make a cold-blooded reptile even colder. Apparently Moneybags sold the gullible ducks some junk that won't work. Help them out. Also, the ice fairies give you ice breath. Personally, I don't quite see their logic in giving you this new power, especially with the giant snowmen that you would normally melt.

    A. Melt The Snowmen: (Jana) To work the controls, just press the directional buttons. Press the triangle button to get out. Get ALL of the snowmen. Otherwise they will grow back to full size. To get rid of the bigger enemies, you must charge into them after you've freezed them.

    B. Catch The Ice Cats: (Ba'ah) This ones easy. The cats practically do the work for you. Just freeze them (5) and put them in the goal, after you pay Moneybags 800 gems, that is. By the way, you can also freeze your Rhynoc opponent to prevent him from scoring.

    C. Across The Rooftops: (Jasper) Go up the slope from where there once were mammoths. You should be on top of a building. You should also see a ledge that you can glide to. Do that, then glide to the next building. Walk carefully on the ledge to get to the egg.

    D. Glide To The Temple Roof: (Cecil) Now here's where things get tricky. On the same spot, glide to the building with the laser. That's right, the laser. Now try and jump on the section with the ice and laser. This will take time. I recommend you jump around the corner of it to make things easier. Now that you've done that, glide to the building on the right. It IS possible, and don't break your controller in the process. You will also have to be a master at hovering. Now that you've finally done that, go to the other side and glide down to the place with steps. Climb up two steps. Turn around, you should see an island in the distance. Glide to it and get the egg.

    E. Box The Yeti: (Aly) Enter Bentley's portal and fight the yeti. There is really no one way to do this, but personally I just keep pressing square. Do whatever's comfortable though.

    F. Box The Yeti Again!: (Ricco) Same as above, only you get 3 rounds. After each round you get half your life back.

Lost Fleet: It appear that Ed, Fred, Ted, and Ned (all who are crazy) believe in ghosts. Don't be fooled, though. The "ghosts" are just Rhynocs under some sheets with flashlights.

    A. Find Crazy Ed's Treasure: (Craig) Follow Crazy Ed. You will have to use a cannon several times, so practice on the birds.

    B. Swim Through The Acid: (Chad) Using the powerup, dive down to the now harmless acid. Check everywhere for treasure. Then refill and go all the way to the end, resurface, and collect your prize.

    C. Sink The Subs I: (Ethel) Glide to the shark jaws to enter the swirling portal. This is really fun. Chase the subs, and blast them. It's that simple. Also look out for the treasure down there.

    D. Sink The Subs II: (Dolores) Now they're mad. Don't worry though. They only toss bombs that don't even come close to hitting you. Remember, you can press square to go faster and catch them.

    E. Skate Race The Rhynocs: (Oliver) This egg is easier to win than the next one. Do as many tricks as you can off the ramps to go faster.

    F. Skate Race Hunter: (Aiden) This is much harder and I usually have to try twice before winning. Now, not only do you have to beat Hunter, but you must get all of the crabs as well! Good luck!

***Missing Treasure***: First, be sure to check the entire sub area and skate park. And remember--where there's acid, there's usually gems once you dive done. Are we done checking there? What are you missing? 5 or 6 gems? Go to the lake with the boat sticking halfway up (also remember to dive down there for gems) and the cannon across from it. Stand next to the cannon and glide off to the right side of the boat (your right) there are six gems there. If that wasn't it, the only other thing I can suggest is to remember to shoot the birds.

Fireworks Factory: I just love this level! Between the cool music, wannabe ninja Rhynocs, and the cute Handsel and Greta, this is a truly sweet place. Help Greta launch the rocket before it goes into orbit.

    A. Destwoy The Wocket!: (Grady) Lucky for this egg, we stop them just in time from it going into outer space. To defeat the bigger Rhynocs, launch a firecracker at them.

    B. Hidden In An Alcove: (Noodles) Cross the first bridge, then take a right. You can't miss it.

    C. Bad Dragon!: (Evan) These are Chinese Dragons, I think. I warn you on two things--they can accurately breath fire, and it is very hard to hit them when they are small. Don't lose sight of them.

    D. Ninja HQ: (Sam) Revive Sparx as much as you can before taking on this challenge. Normally it would be easy, but I usually work my way through it too fast and end up with no Sparx. Take your time!

    E. You're Doomed!: (Patty) Fall down the hole where the rocket once stood and enter the swirling portal. You are Agent 9. This is extremely hard and requires patience. Go slowly. It's okay to backtrack for butterflies.

    F. You're Still Doomed!: (Donovan) Same as above, only you're going backwards to save Handsel.

Bentley's Outpost: As I've said before, Bentley lacks agility but makes up for it with strength. And don't be fooled by his largeness. He has quite the vocabulary and makes impressive speeches.

    A. The Gong Show: (Brian) After smashing a few things, Bentley's brother shows you a gong and tells you to deflect a snowball, creating a momentarily cave-in, allowing you to cross. The egg is to your left.

    B. Snowball's Chance: (Charlie) Do the same thing you did above. You also need to push a crate away.

    C. Help Bartholomew Home: (Eric) Push the two crates so they are aligned. Now here's the tricky part. You must jump across the two crates to receive the egg. Good luck on that, it may take a while...

Honey Speedway: This has a lot of honey. Wouldn't it be weird if there was an actual river made of honey? With practice, you can master this speedway. Be careful of the bees.

    A. Time Attack: (Chris) I don't know if this is the only way, but I've found this challenge much easier if you are flying the wrong way for the bears. Which means the bears will drive their boats towards you.

    B. Race The Bees: (Henri) Why on earth are the bees different colors? I don't have any advice on this one, since there's nothing out of the ordinary here. Just practice and you should be fine.

    C. Hunter's Narrow Escape: (Nori) Hunter is found at the bottom of one of the grass hills. He is hiding from a sheep saucer. Race it down the river and avoid the debris.

Charmed Ridge: This level is a very quiet place with magic everywhere. Apparently the fairies are upset that Prince Azrael captured Princess Ami. Help stop the cat army just in time to see the two together and get some questions answered.

    A. Rescue The Fairy Princess: (Sakora) Be careful of the cat wizards. They are very magical and can move objects and can make Rhynocs big. Also, somewhere in this world you must pay Moneybags 600 gems.

    B. Egg In A Cave: (Benjamin) After climbing up the stairs, there is a disconnected bridge. To your left is the egg and a powerup.

    C. Glide To The Tower: (Moe) By the powerup is a ladder. Climb it and jump on the railing. To your right is a square block with a cat standing on it. Then, glide to that and then glide on top of the hill left to the chess piece. Climb to the highest point. On another building you should see the cat directly in front of you. Glide there to get it.

    D. Cat Witch Chaos: (Abby) This is pretty hard, so I recommend fully reviving Sparx before taking on this challenge. Avoid moving around to much. For the most part, attack at a lower level than they are.

    E. Jack And The Beanstalk I: (Shelley) Jack has bought some seeds from Moneybags. Your goal is to get to the top of the hill. To plant the seeds, spit them into the dirt and flame what grows to make a seed.

    F. Jack And The Beanstalk II: (Chuck) When you get to the final stage, it becomes harder. I won't tell you exactly how to do it, hehe, but I can tell you that in all three dirt piles, a mushroom must be planted.

Scorch's Pit: You know, this thing used to be a Rhynoc...until the Sorceress cast a spell on it. Collect the rockets from Bentley and avoid its energy bombs. It will also throw crabs at you.

Midnight Mountain

Midnight Mountain: Well, this is it, the final showdown, the last battle, the end of the Sorceress' reign (hopefully). Obviously these levels are much harder than the other ones. Well, let's get started.

    A. Shh, It's A Secret: (Saki) That's an odd title. Climb up the stairs to your left after you get out of the rocket.

    B. Glide To The Island: (Billy) Near the Desert Ruins portal are cracks in the wall. Ram into them to discover the island and egg.

    C. Stomp The Floor: (Buddy) By the Sparx sign are some steps leading up to the cracked floor. Headbash it to discover the egg. Um, you DO know where the Sparx sign is, right?

    D. Catch The Thief: (Miken) Almost immediately you should see the blue 'nyah nyah' guy. Chase him and the egg is yours. Don't be too full of yourself--he's very quick!

    E. At The Top Of The Waterfall: (Evie) Directly across from the Sorceress' portal is the lava-liquidy waterfall and the egg.

    F. Egg For Sale: (Al) After defeating the Sorceress, Moneybags turns up with an egg. It is sort of like all the other 'thief' incidents (that's what he is, after all) so you must chase him to retrieve your lost treasure and the egg. Don't worry, though. Moneybags isn't nearly as fast as the regular thieves, thank goodness.

Crystal Islands: This place is full of crystals and magic. It MUST be magical--there's flying beavers! Ask the magicians what's up, and they will help you out with stuff.

    A. Reach The Crystal Tower: (Lloyd) It's not that hard, really. Just follow the magic (hehe).

    B. Whack A Mole: (Hank) This one usually takes me a few times to get. ALWAYS remember to wait for a second to see what comes out of the mole hole, because it could be a magician.

    C. Catch The Flying Thief: (Max) Enter the flying powerup to begin the chase. Remember--fly through the blue stars and look for shortcuts. Since he's flying, this is not as easy as the other thieves in the past.

    D. Fly To The Hidden Egg: (Grace) Using the same powerup from trying to capture the tricky thief, fly on top of the first building you entered. The egg is up there.

    E. Glide To The Island: (Manie) Turn a little to the right after once again using the powerup. You should be going directly towards it.

    F. Race The Slide: (Elloise) For this challenge you must slide down a...slide. If you don't kick the screen a million times for continually falling down, you should be just fine.

Desert Ruins: Ahh, this one is certainly hard (though there are definitely harder ones). Basically, it's some sort of rip off of Tomb Raider. I think it's pretty comical. Anyways, let's get started.

    A. Raid The Tomb: (Marty) Basically, just go through the whole level. Follow Tara and she'll give you the egg.

    B. Shark Shootin': (Sadie) Jump onto Hunter's pet manta ray and take down all eight sharks. They have a huge bite, so be careful. Attack quietly, and control Hunter's dislike for water.

    C. Krash Kangaroo I: (Lester) Ahh, Crash Bandicoot style, Spyro's counterpart! Hehehe. We haven't seen Sheila for a while, eh? This egg is halfway through, and good luck.

    D. Krash Kangaroo II: (Pete) The same as the other egg, only you need to finish the rest of this section. Congrats on beating it.

    E. Sink Or Singe: (Nelly) From Sheila's portal, glide to the cave and land on the pillars. They sink, so be careful. Once you have the egg at the end, follow the ledge and break open the cracked wall. In it is the key for the metal treasure box.

    F. Give Me A Hand: (Andy) Turn right at the entrance with the lava. Turn right and climb the steps. Glide to the huge arm and run to the end of it. The egg will be there.

Haunted Tomb: My most hated level. It took me forever to figure out that you need to shoot the coffins with the rocks in order to get the gems. Hehe, those mummies are annoying.

    A. Release The Temple Dweller: (Will) When you're done with the whole level, the guy will ask you a riddle. The answer is an egg (DUH!!!).

    B. Snake Slide: (Malcom) It's honestly not that hard. In fact, after going through Crystal Islands', I was rather surprised at the simplicity of it. Slide all the way to the end in order to receive the egg.

    C. Tank Blast I: (MJ) The answer to the riddle is 12 years. This one's not too hard--just remember to stay focused. Take on the Rhynocs one by one, and slowly creep up the them so them won't attack you, since you should be far enough away.

    D. Tank Blast II: (TJ) This one is harder--there are 10 Rhynocs. However, I still recommend you try what I said in the first one. Don't attack at once. Be careful and don't let your guard down.

    E. Clear The Caves: (Roxy) The answer to this riddle is footsteps. You control Agent 9. This one is debatably the hardest egg to get in the game, at least that's the way it is with me. Shoot down what best fits your needs.

    F. Climb The Wall: (Christine) This one isn't too hard. In your quest to complete the level, you should see a ladder, leading up the egg.

Dino Mines: Ahh....what a weird mixture--dinosaurs and cowboys. Meh, whatever. Anyways, you have to keep a sharp eye out. The dinos have good aim and will quickly deplete your health if you're not careful.

    A. Jail Break!: (Kiki) Basically just finish the level. Don't forget to charge the wall at the end!

    B. Shafted!: (Elliot) Near the end you should see a tall tower-thing with water inside. Once inside you must swim to the end to receive the egg. You'll need quiet a lot of practice for this one. Be careful of the mines!

    C. Swim Through The Wall: (Romey) Look for a breakable wall in the water section in this level towards the beginning. You'll find it there.

    D. Gunfight At The Jurassic Corral: (Sharon) Your character is Agent 9. With a good eye and plenty of practice you can eventually win this egg. Be quicker than those stupid dinos who for some reason like doing all sorts of tricks with their guns before firing.

    E. Leap Of Faith: (Dan) At the beginning go left at the red building. Glide and however off the ledge and land on the other side, if you're lucky. The egg will be there. Good luck!

    F. Take It To The Bank: (Sergio) Take out the dinos with Agent 9. After it's all over, search the buildings to come across the egg. There is also a great deal of treasure behind the windows in buildings.

Harbor Speedway: Well, here it is, the last speedway in the game. I don't particularly like speedways, so that's good news, for me at least. Fly over the birds, and let's get started.

    A. Time Attack: (Kobe) Follow Sparx's advice and this should be no problem.

    B. Race The Blue-Footed Boobies: (Jessie) In order for you to win this egg you must fly through almost if not ALL the blue stars. Red stars will help a lot too, but the blue ones are the key.

    C. Hunter's Pursuit: (Sara) Hunter is located in the lighthouse. Fly into the rings successfully and the egg is yours.

Agent 9's Lab: Ahh, I dislike Agent 9 the most, particularly because he's a little too hyper for my taste. Help the professor out by clearing out his lab from the Rhynocs..

    A. Blast And Bomb The Rhynocs: (Rowan) Just finish the level, learning Agent 9's moves along the way. The professor will give you this egg at the end. Congrats, or something.

    B. Snipe The Boats: (Tony) Take some bombs and throw them at the red button over the electric wall. Once it turns off, finish all moving targets to receive the egg from the last one you attack.

    C. This Place Has Gone To The Birds: (Beulah) In the professor's lab, there will be birds soaring around. Take care of them for the egg.

Sorceress's Lair: (George) Ahh, the final showdown. Really, I think the last boss was harder than her. Basically, you'll get three artillery--a cannon, a mobile cannon, and a flying saucer. After you have hit her with all three things, Agent 9 will randomly give you one of them. In my opinion, a saucer is the best. Anyways, good luck.

Sparx's Worlds

Crawdad Farm: (Nora) This one is basically training for the world's up ahead. First, you must complete Zoe's little thing with the crawdads. After that, you'll be in the crawdad world. Once you've gone past all the obstacles, you will meet the Crawdad King. For this boss, simply hold down L1 or R1 to avoid most of his attacks. Then just keep shooting. The green things he shoots and the rockets can be shot down. Don't forget to collect all the treasure down there!

Spider Town: (Tootie) This isn't too much of a problem, but it's still harder than the Crawdad Farm. Make your way through, and have fun chasing those fast spiders (lol). Once you've been everywhere, face the boss. Again, it's wise to hold down L1 or R1 for an easier fight. If spiders come out of his mouth, immediately shoot them, and hopefully you get a few shots at him as well. You can get seriously hurt in this fight, so be careful. It may take a few times.

Starfish Reef: (Ahnashawn) This one's definitely not easy. Well you encounter a huge starfish, it's best to have some sort of special weaponry available, because they're hard to take out in seconds without getting hit, ESPECIALLY for those things that keep spitting them out until you kill it. A real pain. Anyways, once you reach the boss, make sure you ate one of those butterflies that acts as a shot gun, or an attack that fires multiple ammo at once. This will be a big help. Again, use L1 or R1. When it breaks in two and fires mini manta rays at you, go into a corner and give everything you got. Be careful in this fight.

Bugbot Factory: (Anabelle) Okay, you've been through enough, by now you should know Sparx's moves down pretty well and SHOULD be comparatively easy. Tag down the thieves and reach the boss. Basically, just hold down L1 or R1 as usual and avoid his attacks. When he splits in two, continue the same pattern as before until they're both dead. It becomes really easy once you have one down. Congrats on finishing the boss, and don't forget the treasure!

Super Bonus Round

Super Bonus Round: Ahhh, how cool! Look how nice they were in adding an extra area! To get over here, face right from Harbor Speedway and glide down. REMEMBER, you cannot access this area unless you have all eggs and all gems.

    A. Main Area: Chase down all the thieves in this area (5) and take back the treasure they stole. Once you have enough, you can proceed to the next door in this area.

    B. 16,000 Gem Door: Hunter gives you a submarine. This is fairly easy--just get all the subs piloted by the Rhynocs to receive a lot of treasure. When you're sure you've got them all, go to the next door.

    C. 17,000 Gem Door: Heh heh...one of my more feared areas. Lol. I found out that if you walk around in the course, you can boost your bar by flaming the crabs and going through the blue stars beforehand. If anything else, learn your way around so you know where everything is. Now...all I can say is...practice. Eventually, though it may seem to the contrary, you'll be able to go through most of the blue stars and pass them. The first hill is key for any tricks you might want to use. I usually do as many twisted lemons as I possibly can.

    D. 18,500 Gem Door: This one leads to a superflame/superfly powerup. Take down the 7 sheep flying around, none of which are very hard, though it may take a long time looking for them. After that, go to the final door.

    E. 20,000 Gem Door: (Yin and Yang) Heh, look who's back! Geez, who didn't see THAT coming? Pfft. Anyways, you get a flying saucer, and it's fairly straightforward. Avoid her attacks and take her down. Not too hard, right?
