Hello there friends and relatives. My name is Murray Long . As I strive to find myself,I have come to the point in my life where in order to figure out myself I need to know about my family past and present. I want to be able to leave a clear understanding of my families lineage to the people who mean the most to me , my immediate family. As i have been working and researching my ancestry , the biggest thing I have found is that most people in my family that really know about it are dead and alot of history is slipping by the wayside. I have a daughter , 5 nieces , and numerous cousins 2nd cousins 3rd cousins and so forth .I am a direct decendant of Ralph and Rachael Banks of Elbert, on my mothers side . Myfamily project was inspired by a special friend of mine that got me hooked on geneology and the study of local history. I am new to geneology myself , but I associate myself with experts , so join me in this journey through time and check back soon for updates .
