For over two hundread years he terrorized hummanity. He preyed on the weak, and the strong. He was an evil beyond belife, a monster without a soul. He was a nightmare to ever honest soul. He was Angelus, the most dark, most malicious, and most evil vampire to ever set foot out of the grave.
But when he killed a young gyspy girl he was cursed with his soul. He would know what he did, every vile act of evil he ever commited...and care. Years he spent destitute living as a homless bum on the street feeding off of stray rats until he was lead to a place called Hemerey where he first saw her. The love of his life, The Slayer. I think you may know her.
He could not stop thinking of her. For a year he waited for her in Sunnydale. When she finally arrived he helped her, mostly from the shadows. The attraction between them was almost instantanious. Over the next year and a half they fell into a deep consuming love. Finally he achieved a moment of true happiness, a moment of utter contentment, as he lie in bed to her after they had made love. Then, as unknown to him, a clause in the curse came into effect...and his soul was again gone. For the rest of the year he was again the monster. He set loose a campain of terror on his love and her friends. Finally he got his soul back, but it was too late and his love had to send him to hell to stop him from destroying the world. Time worked different their, who knows the number of years he spent writhing in agony. Then he came back by a force unknown, yet was no more then a raving lunitic. But when his love was in danger...he came to her rescue. Again he was Angel..the man...not the monster. He found it hard to live with what he had done but somehow he managed though it with her help. Their on again off again romace went on for another year or so before he finally realized that he was bad for her, and that she deserved more than he could ever give her. So after he helped her defeat the evil Mayor of Sunnydale...he left. Now he will make amends, he will give hope to the hopeless, and he will shead light on the City of Angels.
