Karine walked into Brian’s room, and found him fast asleep. She walked over and sat on the bed next to him.
“Bri…” she said softly as she shook him gently.
He rolled over, and his blue eyes met hers. “Hey Karine…” he said, and rubbed his eyes.
“What happened hunnie?” she asked as she laid down on the bed next to him.
Brian threw the covers over her, and they were looking at each other.
“Man, I’m so pissed off. I mean here I am first thing in the morning with Alicia. We were like really, really making out when we woke up, and then two hours later, her and Kevin were in the doorway making out.” Brian said, sadness showing in his voice.
“Aww Bri, its ok sweetie…” she said as she gently rubbed his arm.
“No, no its not. Karine I love her so much, and I dunno if I should just forgive and forget or if I want to get back with her..”
“Yea, I know what you mean. I love Nick so much Bri, and then he is with Mandy and,” she trailed off.
“And what hun?”
“Did Ali tell you about the night in the hot tub? Or did Nick?”
“No…shit, now what happened?”
“We just like started making out in the hot tub, and I have no clue what the hell I am doing. I know that I want him, yet he wants someone else…”
“Thats not true Karine. He DOES want you and thats the problem. He told me that he wants to end it with Mandy yet he still loves her.”
Karine began to cry a little bit. “I just miss the comfort of having a boyfriend to sleep with at night, and someone to hold me when I’m upset and-“
Brian cut her off. “Karine, you know that me and AJ are ALWAYS here when you need someone to hold you, and you don’t want a girl. Don’t be afraid to come to us…”
She nodded his head, and Brian said, “Come here you…” she scooted closer to him, and laid her head on his shoulder, as he wrapped his arms around her, and let her cry.
*that night*
Sarah kissed AJ as she ran her hands through his hair. She loved the feeling of his hands caressing her back. She felt his tongue swirling around with hers as she prepared herself for him.
“AJ, do you want to do this?” she said, her mouth sucking on the tender flesh of his neck.
“No,” he said simply, and gently pushing her off of him.
“Whats wrong?” she asked, staring down at him with wide eyes.
“I can’t get an um…” AJ pointed down to his boxers, and she looked.
“You can’t get an erection?” she asked, scared that he was no longer turned on by her, and that they should have done it yesterday in the shower.
“No…look Sarah I am really sorry, its just that I am so tired today, I dunno what it is from, and I’m really not into it tonight.”
She scoffed. “Not into it AJ?” Her face became very blanch.
“Look, baby, I’m sorry…” AJ said, stroking her arms.
*meanwhile*
Alicia sat down at the dining room table with Nick. She sighed. “Sorry bout the whole thing with Rok…” Nick said emotionlessly.
“Yea, well it was kinda my fault…” she replied, looking at the place mats.
“Why did you do it?” Nick asked.
“Same reason you made out with Karine in the hot tub.”
“No, no then that would mean that you really love Kevin and want to be with him…”
“Oh, well then its not the same reason.”
“Then why did you do it?”
“Well, he kissed me first, and then I dunno. Him and Brian kiss the exact same way, and the thing is, I will swear on the holy bible that I just thought I was kissing Brian. God I love him so much, I wish he would understand that.”
“Maybe you should tell him.”
“No, he is to upset with me right now for me to talk to him.”
“Ali, he loves you. As much as he thinks he hates you right now, you guys have been together for longer than any of us, and you know that you two are meant to be.”
“Just like you and Karine.”
“What?”
“Like you and Karine.”
“Oh no. Me and Karine are another story.”
“No, your not.”
“Yeah, we are.”
“Do you love her?”
“Yes I do, very much.”
“Do you love Mandy?’
“I dunno.”
“Do you want to be with Karine or Mandy?”
“Karine.” This time Nick wasn’t even thinking when he spoke. “Mandy,” he then said.
“Which one?”
“Oh god Ali! I dunno!”
“Did you ever think about how Karine feels about this? Don’t you think that she knows you are turning into a player?”
“No, I’m not!”
“Yea, Nick, you are. You might not realize it right now, but what your doing is going to leave you with no one in the long run. Just like me and Brian. Everything is ruined in our relationship because I messed up, and we loved each other too much.”
“Thats not possible.”
“You love Karine to much that it is killing you…” and with that said, she got up, and walked out into the backyard unaware that Brian was in the living room, listening to the whole conversation.
*at the same time*
“5…6…7…8…” Karine said to the cheering squad that she was volunteering to help coach for. Her friend, Jill, had asked her to help out, since she was just getting over an intricate break-up with her boyfriend Mike.
Karine showed the high school varsity squad their new routine to the mix of songs on the Jock Jams CD. Jill had taught it to her earlier that morning, and Karine was trying her best to remember all of the right moves.
She danced around in a pair of Adidas tear-aways and a black sports bra. As the last minute of the song came on she took in a deep breath and finished it perfectly.
“Ok girls that is what you have to learn,” she paused taking in a deep breath, “and you only have three days. Me and Jill are going to be here to teach you.”
Jill continued, “Girls, we have practice on Friday, after school, from 3pm until 6, and this whole weekend from 1pm until 7pm, so bring some money, and we will order some pizzas.”
The girls all nodded their heads, got their water, and began to learn the complicated routine.
*five minutes later*
Sarah just stared into AJ’s brown eyes as she felt her body go weak. ‘Can’t even give him an erection…’ she thought to herself.
Then AJ laughed. Sarah looked at him with wide eyes, and smacked his naked chest. “I hate you Alexander!” she said, climbing off of him.
“I love you Sarah…” AJ said affectionately. Sarah smiled at him, as she climbed on top of him once again. She kissed him passionately, giving him all of her.
AJ reached behind her back, and unclasped her bra, gently slipping it off of her arms. “God your beautiful…” he said, caressing her body with his hands and his mouth. He ran his hands through her hair, loving the feeling of the strands sifting through his fingers.
Sarah slipped her hand down the front of his boxers, and felt him. “You lie, lover boy…” she whispered, her teeth nibbling on his ears, knowing that he loved that.
Sarah pulled his boxers down, and AJ kicked them off of his legs, and continued to kiss her hard. “I’ll make love to you, like you want me to, and I’ll hold you tight, all through the night I’ll make love to you, when you want me too….” Sarah softly sang into his ears.
She took his hands, and put them at the top of her underwear, inquiring him to remove them from her body.
But AJ stopped. “I can’t do this with you tonight…” AJ said regretfully.
“Are you joking?”
“No, I’m sorry Sarah. I just…I just can’t…” and with that AJ got up, pulled his boxers on, and left the room.
