Here is the rear end...so lets get started.

...

Guess I was lucky, the shock mounts came right out with a good swift blow from the old 5lb. sledge hammer. Wish the trailing arm bolts would have came out that easy..but no such luck, time for the sawzall!!!!

.........

What a pain in the sawzazz. But after 4 new blades, 20 curse words, 6 beers and a few skint knuckles, they are out...Yah Hooo!!!!!

All cleaned, painted, new ebrakes and bushing, ready to be reinstalled.

2007 Update. It was time to have the rear trailing arm bearings replaced before they caused a problem. I was not having any problem with them and there was hardly any play, but better safe than sorry so off they came to be shipped off for the rebuild with new front rubber bushings & new rotors.

While there off being rebuilt lets prep the car, replace the batwing rubber bushings, install a new rearend (along with a drain plug to make those rear end fluid changes alot easier).
