His dream and purpose for Junior Chamber was to offer the membership opportunities that would build strong, positive characters and a sense of citizenship, not only of communities, cities and countries, but of the world.
Community Involvement
Each year the Florence Jaycees raise thousands of dollars for local, state, and national charities. We invest many hours of volunteer time serving the needs of our community. We identify community needs and problems, then plan and execute projects to remedy those situations.
Social Activities
The Jaycees offer a variety of activities and opportunities to meet and associate with progressive young people with similar interests and objectives. You get to meet people not only in your own community, but also from across the state, nation, and even other parts of the world. Activities range from a family picnic to white water rafting to New Year's Eve on Beale St. in Memphis. Jaycees like to have fun!
