Darkness And The Maiden (2)

The instant Julian's lips touched hers all her memories came flooding back like the rising tide over a beach. Darkness was reunited with light. There was a shiver racing up and down her spine. The feeling was a deliciously wicked sensation. But instead of being just a simple peck on the lips, Julian turned the tiny flame into a roar of fire tingling her mouth. Her arms wrapped around him as if she couldn't handle her balance. She could feel Julian's satisfaction and the intense sensuality that binded them. Jenny had grown strong over the years. Julian's game had changed her in so many ways, ways that enabled her to fight his beauty, his seductive techniques, the temptation, why was it so hard to fight now?

Julian finally pulled back, but not too far for his breath cooled the heat still burning on her lips. Ice! She thought, I need some ice! Julian's teeth gleamed when he smiled, the same, well remembered wolf-hungry smile. Jenny felt more nerves slipping, and now her stomach had a million butterflies swarming within.

"My sweet Jenny, you haven't forgotten the passion." Julian reached to touch her cheek. Jenny pushed herself further back on the large mattress while Julian stood at the front. He saw his discomfort and laughed with the wicked glint in his eyes.

Jenny sucked in her breath, "I don't understand... You... the other shadow men...."

"Yes," Julian said still smiling, "They cut out my name, erased my existence, though that was a long time ago, maybe not in your human years. I guess you're now, 18? 19 years of age?" his eyes were devouring her.

"18," she said, her voice started to work again. "Tell me how you came back, I want to know."

"But that can come later," Julian climbed onto the bed. Jenny reached to side to get off but Julian caught her arm and pushed her down until her back was flat on the bed. He was over her now,a slight grin on his face, the eyes glittering with lust. His hands caressed her face and her neck, Jenny turned her head aside wanting to avoid another kiss, but couldn't avoid his lips touching her neck. Each kiss left a warm, tingling sensation. Her breath was coming out in gasps. Now she feeling as though she jumped into an ice cold pond, on a blistering hot day. The strength she had once, it was gone. She hated her body for betraying her, for wanting Julian as much as he wanted her, how can the mind be defeated by the body? Julian's kisses were coming faster, and now Jenny found herself in a position where she had no control.

"Julian," she breathed with extreme difficulty. "Please... don't"

"It's useless to deny me now Jenny," he continued to kiss her neck then gently turned her head to where she was facing him, then kissed her cheeks and her forehead, "You fought me so many times, and you won, but this time is different, my power is greater, stronger than ever."

He stopped the kissing and cupped her face with his hands which felt cool and soft, the lips bare inches from her own. She'd never been this close to any guy, not even Tom, and it frightened her more than anything she'd ever faced. Julian's lips parted as they brushed hers, but then he stopped, leaned up and got off the bed. Jenny was bemused, but couldn't move. Julian leaned over the side of the bed. He grinned at her as if mocking her.

"I'm anxious Jenny, but I would rather wait until the setting suits us both." He walked towards the door, but before closing it, he glanced at Jenny, "This is your new home, now. Actually, OUR new home. You'll be hungry soon, so please do come for some dinner and I'll tell you everything you want to know." He shut the door. Jenny didn't know whether to be afraid, worried, or start crying. She didn't have her friends with her now. And Tom, surely he know she was missing. But maybe he had left Julian, and the game behind him now. Yet, maybe he might know how to get.... am I in the Shadow World? Her mind was filling with questions. However her stomach now demanded nourishment. And if she was to ever find a way to escape Julian... again, she'd need strength.

Slowly she got off the bed and headed out the door to meet Julian for dinner.
