1937 Emerson Model BN258
Here is another Emerson Catalin radio from 1937. This is the small table model set which receives the standard broadcast band. There is heavy swirling of the plastic on this radio. Very colorfull.
1940 Lafayette Model E63
Pictured above is a 1940 Lafayette model E63 in ivory. The ivory has changed color over the years to the yellow coloring. This radio was also offered in onyx as the model E 62. Both radios used the same chassis. There was a handle on top but in the photo above it is missing. This Lafayette brandname radio is not the same radio company that made amateur radios for hams and consumer radios.
1940 DeWald Model 548
Pictured above is the DeWald model 548 table set. This radio was also known in the sales ads and booklets as the organ tone model. The radio received standard broadcast and there is pushbutton tuning for four stations. The styling is art deco and is quit different from many other models offered at that time.
