Serena: I can't keep up with my family! First I have a sister, then I find out I have a cousin, then I have a nephew and niece, and then I have another two cousins!

Nyx+Lani: *smile and giggle*

Sherri: It is kind of cool though, I think.

Audrey: For once, we agree on something.

Harvey: *nudges Spike* Knowing those two, it'll probably be the only time that they'll ever agree on something.

Spike: *grins and tries not laugh*

They all get a good night sleep and try to start fresh in the morning. Nyx and Harvey are awake before anyone else and are in the open courtyard just beside the palace and next to the garden and a little pond. After reflecting at the pond and seeing the garden, the two begin to sword fight. Nyx wins 2 out of 3 matches and Harvey is exhausted. They sit on the bench nearby and give each other a quick little kiss.

Nyx: I'm glad we're not one of those mushy couples, although we are kind of getting there. *smiles*

Harvey: Yeah, I know what you mean. I remember back when we were friends and we didn't realize our true feelings. We always talked about how everyone in the kingdom always got so mushy when they were with their significant others. We used to laugh about it! It's so ironic isn't it?!

Nyx: *laughs* Yeah, it sure is. *holds his hand* But now I know why they did that. When you care about someone that much, you can't help but show it.

Harvey: *smiles as they see the sun begin to rise* It seems like ions ago that I thought I would never find the one for me. And now I have… *he gets down on one knee right beside her*

Nyx: *is completely thrown by surprise*

Harvey: Nyx, my beautiful princess, will you… *pulls out a star-shaped-diamond-covered ring* Will you marry me?

Nyx: *hears her heart racing as he slips the ring on her finger* Yes, of course I will!

Harvey: *picks her up in his arms and spins her*

Nyx: *smiles and looks at the ring* It's beautiful.

Harvey: Not as much as you. *pulls her into a very passionate kiss*

Once the others wake up, they tell them of their news at breakfast. Everyone is overly excited, but Audrey is worried, even though she doesn't show it.

There is no news or happenings in a week concerning Devlin. They begin to wonder if he has left and realizing that he's fighting a winless battle. Feeling it is safe, they all plan to throw an engagement party for Nyx and Harvey.

During the party Audrey pulls Nyx off to the side to talk.

Nyx: What is it Re? You look so agitated.

Audrey: I don't know. I think that the fact that it has been so peaceful gets me scared. *looks down* You want the real reason?

Nyx: Yes. You know you can tell me anything!

Audrey: *turns away from Nyx and starts to talk* I'm afraid for you.

Nyx: For me? Why?

Audrey: This engagement…

Nyx: *curiously* What about it?

Audrey: Look, I don't want to see you get hurt. I was talking to Amy the other day and she told me of everything that happened to them while they were Sailor Scouts. I know that Darien and Serena still got married and have a wonderful child, but they won't have as many problems as we are going to.

Nyx: I don't understand.

Audrey: *looks Nyx in the eye* They protected the earth and the moon. But we… WE are the protectors of the universe! The infinite universe for that matter. It's not only this galaxy but the many others that are out there!

Nyx: *sits down on a stone bench and looks up at the stars* You're right.

Audrey: *sits down beside her and sighs* I'm sorry to bring it up, but I wanted to make sure that you knew what we were getting into.

Harvey: *comes out to check on the girls* You guys ok? Everyone's looking for you Nyx.

Nyx: *sighs and looks at Audrey*

Audrey: *nods and gets up* Maybe you two should talk.

Harvey: O… k. *as Audrey walks off he sits beside Nyx* What is it?

Nyx: Harvey… darling. *smiles as she puts her hand on his cheek. She sighs and takes her hand off* This isn't going to work.

Harvey: What do you mean? *puts her hand between his hands*

Nyx: *puts her other hand on top of his and looks into his eyes* We're going to be going through a lot, especially with being Senshi and having to protect the world. We're going to have a lot on our plate. I just think that we should put off this engagement for a while. *takes off her ring and puts it in his hands*

Harvey: *stares at the ring and then at her* But…

Nyx: *puts her finger over his mouth and gives him a little kiss* I've made up my mind, I'm sorry. *chokes back some tears and runs into the gardens*

Harvey: *just sits there confused and heartbroken*

A loud boom is heard in the greenhouse and Harvey rushes over. He sees the greenhouse is in flames and Devlin coming out of the flames with Nyx in a flame cage.

Harvey: *transforms and then tries to get to Devlin* Get back here you jerk! Where are you taking her?

Devlin: *turns around and gives an evil grin* You want her? Take her. *throws the flaming cage with an unconscious Nyx at the Dark Warrior*

Dark: *jumps out of the way* What do you want?

Devlin: Hmm… let me see. The earth's destruction for one, and then there's the universal conquest, and then…

SailorHope: *interrupts Devlin* Pathetic and worthless plans I think.

Devlin: *looks over* I see the Sailor Slackers have arrived.

SailorAngel: Who you calling slackers? *grins* I see I have left you with a scar.

Devlin: *growls* Yes, that was you wasn't it.

SailorGrace: *stands by the cage trying to diminish the flames and get Nyx out*

Devlin: *sends a fireball her way*

WindWarrior: *grabs her in time and is scraped by the flames*

Grace: *helps the Wind Warrior up. SHe looks at Devlin and yells* You jerk! *closes her eyes. Opens them and looks at the sky--her eyes are completely white.* Yin-Yang Ring!! *one black and one white dragon come up out of the ground and roar as they head Devlin's way*

Devlin: *jumps up out of the way but is then surrounded by the two dragons as they curl up around him. He screams in pain and lands on the floor huffing and puffing*

The fire surrounding Nyx's cage goes away. The Dark Warrior breaks open the cage and pulls out Nyx; she begins to stir.

Devlin: You will pay for that. *jumps and disappears. He reappears in front of the Dark Warrior and grabs Nyx and jumps back up into the air holding Nyx in one hand* You think I don't know this is your beloved Sailor Solaris?

SailorVirtue: *gasps* You leave her alone! *jumps up and tries to attack him*

Devlin: *he disappears and reappears on top of the still burning greenhouse* Don't think I won't throw her into my forever-burning flames! She can't protect herself from these flames!!! Muahahaha!! *lets go of her and she falls into the pit of fire*

A scream is heard inside of the greenhouse and everyone winces. The Dark Warrior runs straight to the greenhouse but he is stopped by a gush of light that comes out from underneath Devlin, who is holding himself and crying in pain. Sailor Solaris comes flying out.

Solaris: *grins as she sees Devlin wriggle in pain* You have no idea what the extent of my powers are bubo! *puts up one hand and yells* Seeking Rush!! *a great wave of water comes out of her hand and heads straight for Devlin*

Devlin: *his eyes widen and just before the attack hits him, he disappears and his laughter fills the air* You won't be so lucky next time! I've saved a little surprise for you, but I'll keep you in suspense. Muahahaha!!

Solaris: *floats down to the others* Thanks you guys. *smiles at Zayn and Harvey. She looks over to Mercury and says* How about we try taming this thing.

Mercury: *nods* Shining Aqua Illusion!

Solaris: Seeking Rush!!

Hope: *steps in* Laser Mist Mirage! *A red cloud floats above the greenhouse and a thick mist comes down, finishing off the flames left after mercury and Solaris' attack*

Solaris: *smiles* Thanks for the help sis.

Hope: *blushes* No prob.

The next day everyone is sad for Harvey and Nyx. The night before only reaffirms Nyx's belief that it would be too much to handle. Everyone is trying to help Harvey in some way, but he refuses their help and goes for a walk. Nyx and Audrey are off sword fighting and buffing up Nyx's powers with exercises and meditations.

Audrey: Ok, now focus on the vase.

Nyx: *looks at the vase across from her on the ledge of a railing. She darts her eyes at it and it shatters to pieces*

Audrey: That's great! Now… *picks up 3 vases that are beside her and lines them up* Try without darting your eyes and just focusing with your eyes closed.

Nyx: *takes a deep breath and closes her eyes* You can see Nyx's pupils move right to left and her eyebrows tense up.

Audrey: Relax Nyx, relax.

Nyx: *moves her neck as it cracks and then tries again. The three vases shatter*

A clap is heard not too far in the distance. The two girls get in a fighting stance, but Nyx loosens up when she sees who it is.
