According to Freud, elements of a person’s personality as an adult can be traced back to his or her childhood.  Freud believed that due to a traumatic episode or an overall difficult time a person faced during a stage of his or her life, the person became “stuck” in that developmental stage.  The person thus retains certain characteristics.  Find the habits or personality type that fits you best to find out what stage of life you may have been “stuck” in.  The trick is to then find what event occurred in your life at that time and how it affected you.

Personality Type #1A person with this personality is often very sarcastic and cynical.  He or she may have a habit of biting nails or on pencils and pens.  The person will also prefer having something to munch on all the time, including food, gum, or mints.  These people may even have a bad habit of smoking.

Personality Type #2A person with this personality type is often very careless.  He or she will lack organization skills and will tend to be sloppy.  The person may also have difficulty complying with all rules and regulations.  As a driver, he or she may be slightly reckless.

Personality Type #3 – In complete contrast to personality type #2, a person in this category is excessively clean and cannot tolerate a mess.  This person is usually highly organized, meticulous, and conforming.  He or she is often said to be a perfectionist.

Personality Type #4 – A person of this personality type is often very competitive.  He or she wants to have the best and to excel in everything.  The person may also encounter some envy.  This person tends to get worried and maybe even paranoid.  The person may seem normal or confident on the outside, but may actually be unsure if he or she is the best they can be and if even that would be good enough.

Personality Type #5 – This person is well rounded and loves to learn more.  He or she enthusiastically accepts a new adventure or challenge.  This person may not always have a love interest at all times, but does not usually have a problem in making new friends.
