The school in Pilot Point is small. There are sixteen students from K-9. There are only three teachers: Bob McDonald, Natalie McBrayer, and Maritza Jennings. There are only five kids in our class and three that are in the same grade as I. There used to be three more kids in our class, but they moved away. We have a pretty good sized gym, in which we play games like volleyball, basketball, and other games when we feel like it. At 7:00 P.M. there is night gym. That's where we get an hour to play games like basketball and other stuff like that. Lunch time for our class is pretty small: only four kids eat. There are only three classrooms and a computer room. We have a Suburban for our bus. It holds ten kids. In Anchorage there are many more kids in classes and more teachers too. They have bigger gyms and probably play better games than we. When it's lunch time for them, there are many kids. They also have bigger buses that could hold more than ten kids. They have more classrooms and more computers too. The picture of the Aleut spear above is one I made in a art class with Patrick Lind. ã 2001 by Byron Kalmakoff last updated 3/27/01 |
