The Trabia scene should have been foreshadowed early in the game. I know they hinted at GF side effects, but it probably would have worked better if the characters had realized that they couldn't remember their childhoods. Maybe something like: Rinoa: So Squall, how old were you when you enrolled in Garden? Squall: I was... I was... hmmm. You know, I can't even remember. I guess I was really young. I don't like to live in the past anyway. Who cares? Rinoa: Really? You can't remember at all? Squall: (Is she making fun of me for having a lousy memory? What's her problem?
