"Self Portrait" (Graphite, 1986)
Me at 17...Back when dinosaurs ruled the Earth. Actually, my eyes aren't that dark (they're green, really,) but I wasn't good at eyes back then. My Mom's got this one in her dining room.

"Wood Duck" (Chalk & charcoal on manilla paper, 1989)

Just a couple of graphic scribbles. Don't know when they're from. The dog is a charicature of my mom's former shi tzuh.

"Night Sentinel" (Graphite, 1993)
My dear, former husky.

"Canada Goose" (Charcoal, 1994ish)

"Crowned Cranes" (Acrylic, 1994ish, maybe)

"Jimi Hendrix" (Graphite, ???)

"Charlotte" (Graphite, ???)

"Lonely Sapling" (Graphite, 1996)
I was bored at work one day.

"Lion Head" (Graphite, 1996ish...Probably)

"Wolf" (Acrylic and colored pencils, 1996)

(Graphite, 1996?)
A preliminary sketch for a painting I once considered doing.

"Great Blue Heron" (Acrylic, 1998)
Simplify, they say, so I left the heron on an all white background. The heron measures about 7"x3" on a canvas of 14"x18" (I didn't wanna waste space here on, uh, space.) I've admired the great blue heron ever since I found out that they can grow to be taller than I am. It's always wonderful to spot one of these shy birds--they have a statuesque grace that far surpasses any other birds I know. I did this as a "thank you/housewarming gift" for a couple of friends.
