| History:Lupin is not her true last name, but Deirdra's has no choice but to hide who she really is. She's a runaway, fearing for her safety. Her birth father was a dead beat and her mother blamed the child for his disappearance. She was emotionally and verbally abused until she was seven, when the physical beatings started. After a year, she couldn't take it anymore and she ran from home. For the next six months, she was introduced to the harsh street life. She stole clothes and food, consorting with the worst crowds of people. She got into smoking and, even though in her heart she knew it was wrong, she allowed sexual favours to be done in return for shelter. She hated it, but she did what she had to survive. Then, the one stroke of luck in her life. The Ministry found her and placed her under the care of Rose Lupin, whose job was to counsel and rehabilitate Deirdra. Deirdra isn't very pleased with the arrangement, and tries to run away several times. Even after getting used to the idea of a family after staying with the Lupins, Deirdra still suffers from horrible nightmares and the fear that her mother or old "friends" will come back for her. |

| Appearance:Dishwater blonde hair cut short and framed around her face enhancing her amber eyes. Deirdra is already tall, slim and fairly well endowed, giving her the appearance of someone much older than her age. |
| Personality:Deirdra is cynical and extremely wary of others. Trust is a rarity in her vocabulary and she often keeps up an aloof front. She is quick thinking and impatient, her temper a dangerous one. Any other time besides in her fits of anger, she weighs her words carefully. She is fiercely independent and concentrated on her studies. |
| Hopes for the Future:One day, she hopes to overcome her angst-ridden past and work towards helping other children escape such a life. |
