-.303 inch venerable vickers used by Canadians. Excessive weight made it a static weapon, but it was reliable and accurate.

-Had the dehavilland Arrow fighter jet been allowed to proceed beyond the prototype stage, Canada’s air force would have been equipped with an aircraft generations ahead of its time.

-Designated the FNG-1 these weapons packed a powerful punch and were considered accurate at ranges up to 500 metres. The 20 round box magazine fed bullets into the chamber as quickly as the shooter pulled the trigger.

-Sea kings were used to knockout submarines. It would drop an underwater sonar sensor, and knock out the enemy sub.

-Canadian’s were the first United Nations peacekeepers.

-A general would probably want to fight a Canadian force now then one from 10 or more years ago because of Canadian’s lack of military training.

-Weapons of peacekeepers include the C-7 rifles (same as M-16), C-7 machine gun, Leopard 1 main battle tank, 81mm mortar, CH-146 Griffin helicopter. CF-18 fighters.
