ZIP FILES:
In all zip files there is a README.txt file, it will tell you how exactly to install most of our files, some might be exe self extracting in the future... Why? it will make updating these easier for you, and will also make it faster to install.
Colors:
As of now i am not using color palette in CFS it will set to default don't worry about that.. The images should not be Gray there should be color in all of my panels, if not contact us we need to know. Freecerver
HUD Making Errors or Error on load!
Most of Kirk Longs Panels have a HUD. There are different makes of HUD graphics for CFS FS98 FS2000 FS2002 and CFS2. But there is a graphics card limit to some. Testing on a Pent 3 450, 800, 1 Ghz, using any ATI card passed. Other cards have not yet been tested please contact us if anything is going wrong! Freecerver
ERROR missing DLL

I have the panel.. The windows are black? (CFS1 ONLY!)
You cant see through the windows, you need to make your CFS1 view like FS98 views panels... For a fast and simple fix (In your main CFS1 directory open Combatfs.cfg with note pad, you will scroll down to this area

This will automatically fix your CFS1 if it is not viewing panels(Black windows Gray Spots).
I got the new air file you have...
When you use the rudder with a "Stick" make sure you have the right .air file for the "Stick", in some cases you can use the stick with my keyboard .air files. I do this for 1 reason, some people can not afford to buy a stick! So to make it fair in game.

The DP file? What's that
Damage Points for CFS Simulators, aircraft have these so when you get hit by flack or bullets you can lose parts and or receive damage to your aircraft.
A EXE File What the...?
We are going to start packing our panels in a EXE self installer program made by Click Team We recommend advanced developers to visit Click Team. The basic Idea is for us to deliver the Zip packing to www.Flightsim.com and then on this site have the quick EXE installers.
It is faster and more understanding to use the exe... Just click and install it into your aircraft folder and you are done! For us this makes it 100 times easier to make updates to our items.
Update EXE
These are updates for our panels and items we make! All you have to do is install these where our items are or in most cases if you have not moved the folder or files it will already contain information and the location of our files. And it will self install the new files over the older ones. But if not all you have to do is direct the exe to the correct folder (EX. Navigate in Windows Panel.exe to unload into your aircraft's panel folder and click next)
Past Download Versions And New Versions
To do this all you will have to do is over write your older files with the new ones we have provided, most files have kept the same name. If not you can always delete what is in your panel folder and then install our new version.
Basic Updating From This Site
Want a new set of gauges for your Glider? Just click on the link and download the files, then copy and paste - overwriting the Panel.cfg adding new BMP files and installing your gauges is easy. We might start making EXE files to do all this for you.(see Update EXE above)
Our Version Protocol
Ex. Version 1 (V1) is the first run of the files in that archive.
Version 2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9 etc would be a whole new layout of gauges added panels and extra items
Update Version looks like this 2.1, 2.2, 2.3, 4.3, 3.1, and so on
If we do a add-on for say the F-14 and we have 10 of them for different ideas or extras it might look like this---
Add-on for F-14 V2 FS2002 GPS, HSI, new HUD In new window, and a moving stick for Panel/s F-14 V2

A downloadable Html document with images to guide you in the installation of Scenery...
Developers I would ask you to add this to your scenery files for CFS, make alterations if necessary.

Swaping Panels In All MS FS Programs.
Remember to view a new window use SHIFT + 123456789 and to close a window use its own number again.
EX. Main window shows on load in FS simulator, Press SHIFT + 1 to close the loaded window, now SHIFT + 1 to reopen that same window and so on.(If I open window 2 and it over shadows window 1 we SHIFT + 1 to close window one...)
