. City came away with a point from Tuesday nights long haul to Dover Athletic.

Dover had gone 11 games without a win but it looked as though the run was about to end when Lee Shearer gave Dover the lead just before half time nodding the ball in at the far post.

City came out fighting in the second half and just moments in Steve Whitehall grabbed an equaliser stabbing the ball in at the far post.

Both sides had chances to take all three points in the final 20 minutes but neither could take them and the game ended 1-1.

Chris Blackburn returned from injury and was outstanding whilst Darren Moss kept up his good recent form with an excellent display and was my man of the match.
