This is my thoroughbred stable. All of the horses here are my favorite. None are then are actually mine. I hope one day to have my own thoroughbred stable with gray throughbreds. Grays are my favorite colour. Skip Away was my fave last year. Skip Away won the 1997 Breeder's Cup Classic and was Horse of the Year in 1998. I also liked Silver Charm, winner of the 1997 Kentucky Derby and Preakness and the 1998 Dubai World Cup. Skip Away and Silver Charm and now Free House are retired now! :-( But I hope to see their kids racing soon!
Down below are a list of horses. Click on their name, and it will lead to a page with pictures and a description. You may be wondering why some of the horses are not living right now. Many of them are champions of the past. I remember reading a quote from trainer Frank Whiteley in Ruffian: Burning from the Start by Jane Schwartz, something like, "The good ones always run too hard and break down." Meaning some horses have had so much heart that they ran themselves to death. If you read that Ruffian book, have a box of Kleenexes nearby! I cry everytime I read it.
