Topic: RECORDINGS Naxos of America has recalled more than 150 titles under its Naxos Historical, Naxos Jazz Legends and Naxos Nostalgia rubrics, after reaching a settlement with Capitol Records, Inc., which successfully sued Naxos for copyright infringement in April of this year. Accessible Contemporary Music
Now Playing: The Wheel of Life by Nicholas Duggan. The piece is scored for String Trio. Topic: RECORDINGS In accordance with its mission statement to promote the music of contemporary composers, Accessible Contemporary Music will record a different piece by a living composer every week and post it to their website as an audio streaming file. This project will continue until the end of the 2005-2006 season in May and will begin again in September at the start of the 2006-2007 season. Accessible Contemporary Music's core ensemble and guest artists include some of the best free-lance musicians working in Chicago today.
