2009 Calendar of Events

The following is a list of suggested planned activities for 2009,
event dates may change, please watch the church bulletin : Meetings are held the 3rd Tueday of the month in the Church Annex.

1)Memorial Mass for deceased memebers- Sunday, Nov 22, 9 am. 2)Advent Dinner- Thursday Dec 10, Royal Canadian Legion. Dinner at 6, meet and greet 5:30. Guests are welcome.Bring items for Food Bank and cookies for shut ins. 3). Bring knitted articles, mitts, hats etec for Holy Name School children- to our November meeting. 4). Supples Landing Birthday Party- early December, watch for date.

All ladies of the parish, 16 yrs. of age and older are invited to join the Catholic Women's League. The cost of Membership is $15.00. Come help us make a difference in our Parish Family.

By doing so you will be:

· supporting the efforts of League members across Canada who are diligently working to promote the teachings of the Catholic church.

· part of the largest national organization of Catholic women in Canada with a tradition of service to others as expressed in its motto 'For God and Canada'. The League is the united voice of all Catholic women.


The Catholic Women's League of Canada is an organization that contributes to the life and vitality of the church, family and community, both at home and abroad. While your presence at meetings is important, we realize that in this busy world it may not always be possible for you to attend. Be assured that your interest and support is as important as your attendance!

Included in your membership is The Canadian League magazine (published quarterly) which will keep you informed of League business and projects and in contact with other members across Canada.
