This month's
"Friend of the Month" is:

JO JO DANCER

Here he is, Jo Jo Dancer. This is going to be kinda hard to write because I have no freakin idea who this guy is. Usually Tim and Alex give me some notes on the Friend of the Month in order for me to make a successful update, but those horse-lovin bastards gave me his name, his picture, and two pennies that may or may not be from the right pocket of his favorite pair of pants. They told me to fill in the rest. Here I go...

Jo Jo Aderondack Dancer was born in Italy, in the year 1945. Two years later he was drafted by the US Battalion to conquer the Mayans in the name of Spain in order to end the Gulf War. President Reagan knew that Eva Peron couldn't keep the Gulf War going without her precious Mayans. Jo Jo was the only survivor of the entire war and to this day refuses to walk because it reminds him of the war (Jo Jo having learned to walk the year previous to being drafted). But in Jo Jo's spare time in between countless surgeries and horribly planned drug deals ("I'll meet you in the Narcotics Department at the police station, don't forget to bring the goods!"), Jo Jo manages to fit in some laughs.

Jo Jo also manages to attend Massachusetts Communications College (the very college Alex attended for one week) and work at Osco AND maintain his own record label, Not Common Records. Jo Jo also set up the FatNugs Showcase that The Fault will be playing later this summer, which will be accompanied by a FatNugs compilation released by Not Common records in late July. And if that's not cool enough, Jo Jo's brother is Dorchesta Ed of Full House Crew and Disengaged fame (Although Dorchesta Ed's last name isn't "Dancer," but we'll believe it for now).

But enough of Jo Jo's exciting life. We chose Jo Jo to be the new FOTM because he is another supporter of this band even though he's never heard us and has no idea if we suck ass or not. I like that. He also set up The Fault's first show in over a year!! (yeah, pathetic huh? It was early August 2000 when The Fault played in Alex's living room) So we salute Jo Jo Dancer, the only guy we know who has purposefully grown out his chin hair in order to cover up the credit card he's had stuck there since he was a child.
